Realised that I have not blogged for so long. Hmmmm... Well, too busy and not willing to really spend much time on the comp. blogging would be the main reasons , or should I say excuse.Haha.

Anyway, the world cup is over, with Italy being crowned champions. Germany were excellent and portugal are starting to get the hang of it. Well, but the lack of sportsmanship in the competition does not really bring about the fair results everyone wanted. It does not present soccer as a great game, where not only skills are being displayed, but also values such as tolerance, determination and self-belief. This would be what I rank as the most important factors to win any game. The rest? Luck. One cannot deny the fact that luck is non existant. It is there. Just like on your way to somewhere, you missed the bus, fell, lost your hnadphone, what does this mean? 1 word, unlucky. You can try very hard, but keep hitting the crossbar. However, your oponents just need to take a long range shot to easily score a goal. It does not seem right, cos you worked hard and got nth in return but the opposite was true for your opponent. Well, this is another case of lady luck not standing by your side. Learnt this from the world cup finals, where the french players really gave their very best, but lost to the Italians. Quite disappointed. However, luck is always not the crucial factor. The most important thing of all is to work hard towards your goal because 1 day, everything will pay off.

Anyway, got a new pair of street soccer shoes. Didnt know that the newer ones had much more friction. Keep hearing the "screech" sound when taking fast turns.

Courage is facing what we fear

Finished the chinese 'O' level paper and watched X-men 3 yesterday. The movie was quite nice, with all the fanastic graphics, superb sound effects and good ending. Well, going to watch over the hedge next. Many people say that it is nice to watch, with some giving like 4-5 stars out of a total of 5.

Its the hols now, even though we need to go back to school during the first 2 weeks. Well, I always turn into my relaxed mode during the holidays, with my schedule consisting of watching the drama on channel 55, the PS2, street soccer, basketball, movies, walks, some light reading and of course revision. But it will appear to be quite boring after some time. And that's the time when school reopens, haha.

Talking about drama. The korean dramas are hot like anything else now, with the title everyone is most familiar with, da chang jin. Have not watched it and dont intend to, because I dont really like korean gu zhuang. the Hong Kong dramas are still the number 1 choice to me. Was just trying to classify the types of Hong Kong drama that I watched. To me, the best ones are those that are a little funny, lame, actioned, have surprising endings, romantic and those with fatastic storylines. Leave out those that are boring and those that " bring you nowhere". Also, the theme songs are pleasing to the ear, well at least to me.

If we want to have something in return for what we have sacrificed or given, that is called an exchange, but when you are willing to release something without requesting for any payback, that is called love.

Joga Bonito, play beautiful

So still wondering about the phrase above? It means play beautiful, though I do not know in which language. Yup, just playing soccer beautifully. Had a small little incident at the street soccer court yesterday where someone on the opposing team was playing rough. Well, this just displays to me that they are lousy in soccer, because the better ones often do not have to resort to rough play. There is a difference between playing rough and playing tough.

Next, I was just pondering on one of my previous posts. In there, I wrote that if you love something or are passionate about something, nothing will dampen your passion for it. But coming to think of it, I find that there are just some exceptions. Somethimes, the actions of others really make you feel either just so fed-up or disappointed, considering that you have done something for them. The gratefulness is just not there.

Even though I am not really satisfied with the method of resolving the problem, I still respect one of my teachers for saying this, that values is more important than studies. To analyse this, lets just prioritise both of them. With values, such as determination, courage, attitude, no matter how weak you are in your studies, you will rise up. Even if you dont, you will gain the support of others around you, because of what they see in you. However, even if you are the top student anywhere, without these values, you will still drop sooner or later and get looked-down upon by others. You cannot learn such stuff from books, you must learn from experience to possess them. And maintaining them is not an easy task, especially when situations differ from one to another.

With the world cup looming in, can really feel the soccer atmosphere. People rushing to suscribe to the cable tv sports channels, buying world cup merchandise, playing the official world cup game. Well, to me, the world cup is just the best sporting event ever, the pride is on the line, the skills displayed, the tactics used, 1 word to describe it all, superb. Well, I am going for PORTUGAL. There are a star studded team, though not as good as the Brazilans.

Last but not least, so glad Henry signed for Arsenal. Well, this means a more balanced power, otherwise clubs like Chelski and Barca and tougher to beat.

Just have FUN

Wow, had so much fun from the soccer session today. Played 4-a-side together with the e2 ppl. Much chance to move about with the ball. Street soccer is just so fun. And I am just so glad that there is a street soccer court near my house. Didn't know that some of the girls are getting addicted to soccer too. Anyway, soccer is just so fun and all about a display of skills and teamwork.

Saw many ppl lending click 5 cds here and there. Yet to hear it yet. Going to borrow it soon.

This week also had many people going about with serious faces. Haha, what's on with serious faces. Just relax and be positive, because you never know what it going to happen tomorrow. So dont about with serious and "black" faces unless something really blows you up.

An, no football crazy on channel 23 today. Well, all due to the wet weather. Hmmm..... quite disappointed.

Anyway the eng oral today. Saw so many anxious faces today. All eager to just get tested and leave that state of anxiety.

Chinese 'o' levels in 2 weeks time.

Well, this post just does not match my previous posts. This post only presents 1 para of some advice , compared to the rest of the posts, all that huge lot of discipline and reflection stuff.
