Ahhh finally finished dip plus paper liao!! Erm the paper was easier than expected, do do do then "eh time up alr ar". LOL!

So tmr, tennis in e evening. Weds morn there's the China immersion trip brief. Thurs most likely I would book a flight. So this coming weekends and then another week to go before I leave for 2 weeks!! =D

I think my younger bro is super stressed up even though he doesnt look like. He was sleeping just now and like an hour later he sat up and mumbled to me "eh why minus 1 mark?" GAVE ME A SHOCK!!! I was like "Minus 1 mark, what minus 1 mark?" Well, mum said that he seemed quite stress with work. Cat high jus implemented this malay lang. thing for them and so my bro can speak 4 lang now, eng, chi, malay and jap, which is like super IMBA! The thing is, its damn damn hard to learn them and the books supplemented isnt that "user-friendly" after all. Also its his streaming year and if he continues with his results now, he would most likely get into the 9 subj combi, which means he will be taking....lets see...9+jap+malay = 11 subj at Os. Its a nighmare for me.

So overall, are we studying for the sake of that cert? Well , as much as how we like to rant and grumble about studying "blindly", its the cert that gives us the security at the end of the day. And that whatever is written in the cert is crucial and vital to the number of career pathways that will be opened to us.

DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN !!!!!!!!

CAEM is so bloody sian. ENGINEERING SUCKS!! I mean sometimes you get the good part of it and the other times you get the Shyt of it. ARGH!! The dip plus topics are good enough to kill. So many ppl dropped out of the programme alr cos they said the first 50 pages out of the total of 94 are good enough to "kill". And I was just thinking if I'd completed the whole course duration of 2 yrs, get my cert and NUS or NTU DONT ACCEPT ME, Im gonna just @#$@#$@#$@#, ok I still haven't think what Im gonna do yet.

Alright, flight tomorrow in the afternoon at 4.40. Not that I dread it but sometimes the pressure of performing well just keeps me away from enjoying flight. Tmr's straight and level which just means ....(1) Check reference point...(2)Maintain wings level...(3)Check and maintain attitude...(4)Check and maintain level attitude Altimeter and VSI...(5)Check balanced flight...(6)Left CLEAR Front CLEAR Right CLEAR. Ok this is a good way for me to still remember what I learnt last week, by typing it all out over again.

China trip in abt 2 weeks time. Checked the forecast for the weather there. Predicted to be about -2 to 8 degrees when I reach. Cant wait to experience the cold weather there again..=D

Dip plus paper on monday and I've still not touched my book =(

On a lighter note, I've managed to master the start and chorus of Lin Jun Jie's Xi Jie using my own fingering positioning and stuff. Sounds quite "unpolished" but not bad for the first few times. At least it managed to quench that desire in me to play the song's chorus since last year. =)

Today was posting and heard that quite a number of people didnt manage to get into their first few choices. Comments? Well I feel that just appeal and if you dont get it, stick with what you have. Many around the world do not have the opportunity to study so consider yourselves lucky. Also, I like what Phoeby Liao said during IAC class. " Wherever you go, you start again". In the working world, no one bothers if you're from poly or jc. So long as you are capable and know how to grab the opportunities as it comes, you're the best cat to catch the rat. =) Life is not just abt effort working alone, it depends on luck. If you're down on it, you can expect anything but the best. It is just how you ride on your luck and how far it brings you. But do bear in mind Edison's saying too "Genius is 99% pespiration, 1% inspiration" Luck can give you the inspiration, pespirations give you the experience and skill. That's why, no one's a Genius. Or rather, we only have people who are close to being one =P

All exams over for those around me alr.. The poly ones I mean. But I still have 1 more paper which is dip plus. Erm since I've a week to work on it, I will make sure I get a least 90% for the paper which just since means practise and more practise in this short duration of 7 days. =)

K POOL TODAY!! With Jan..Haha. Erm he's quite pro man, since its reference to a noob like me..=P Yeah and learnt more things today. Took about 2-3 games to warm up cos I always like start off in a not so confident manner. Hit 3 balls in a row. AHHHHH.. I means its quite a feat for a noob like me. =) And the thing I like about KPOOL? Well its quite spacious, I mean considering the number of tables there are available. And its quite cheap, about $6 plus an hour? I love the ambience. Oh and the music they play there. WAHHH, except for the english ones, I simply agree with their selection of chinese ones. All super nice and a small "pinch" of oldies to it. PERFECT. And their Goong songs are wonderful too. =D I definitely going back there again. Then again, I've been there thrice in like 2 weeks? COOL!

Without any deny, channel 55's Jiu3 Dian4 Feng1 Yun2 at 9pm is a good catch. The storyline is ever so thrilling. Kudos to HK DRAMA!!!

Lets begin on the review of how I overstretch-ed my right hand.

(1)It began ystd, under intense pressure from my flying instructor. With his razor sharp eyes constantly monitoring my body movements, I did not dare to let any muscle loose and so, my hand was on the aircraft's throttle for like half-an-hour without resting?! Nope, no arm rest at the side of the seat. And what's more, the stress that came from the flying just stiffens my muscles and it "opened" the door to more overstretching that is to come.

(2)Had my maths exam today and Im sure many know what's the amount of statements we hv to write for our maths exams. Those clear mathematical statements that can explain the solution of a question to ppl as young as 3-4 year olds. (Isn't this what our teachers always like to tell us??). This continuous writing paves the way for more muscle tearing.

(3)Played pool with marcus today at amk after the maths exam and since it was a 1-on-1 match, naturally more chances to hit and erm all the stretching, aiming, hitting made it worse. What's more, I lost. So its definitely not worth it,indirectly.

(4)Went to my grandma's place after the pool session and played with my cousin's WII. Instead of opting for more "stationary" games, I played those like golf, bowling, tennis,BOXING,baseball, table tennis, fishing, basketball racing. Bowling and boxing were the main master minds. And I had a very good sweat after all that. I can just estimate that the amount of pespiration I had at tt moment was as good as what I hv after a 2.4km run. So why not stay at home to do so??

All in all, a whole day's activity can make your hand break. Conclusion? I love my hand. FULL-STOP!

PS. I forgot to add that typing this post out also made it worst in one way or another. =(

Seriously, Im addicted to CANON in C!!! Gotta ask my keyboard teacher to teach soon liao.. FASTER FASTER!! =D

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

Wahhaaha, WII is super fun. Seriously, you dont have to go to the gym if you have a WII console at home. Playing with the Olympics event thing is quite exhaustive alr. Had to keep moving the controller up and down to get the characters to run and the bowling is super fun. Golf too!!. Wah, I think I might consider getting a WII console soon.. =D

Watched the ah long blah blah blah movie by Jack neo. I was expecting a huge outpour of hokkien words but erm, its quite limited. =( Nevertheless still quite a funny show and as usual a small pinch of politics added to it.

And erm.. going with the skool to china this march!! 10 -22 march. I hope that it doesn't get cold there otherwise I'd to bring more clothes and it just correspondingly means a heavier luggage to carry along.

I wanna play CANON IN C!!!!!! =D

Today was spent with the NP people!! Quite disappointing to say, only 8 of us turned up. Me,Jamie,Eunice,Fiona,Ester,Jonatons,Hong Xun and Jerrold. =( Rest were too busy to make it. Well so at 12 plus we went to eat pasta mania(yet again!).

Moved on to the arcade next and sooooooo many ppl trying to catch a show at GV Bishan. Looks like the ah-long movie is quite a hot favourite. And erm played the basketball game at the arcade. Wah Fiona is a pro man, got the same number of points as what Eunice and Ester got combined. And Eunice is even "pro-er" at racing. At first it was a dun want lah dun want lah thing then when she got into the "hot seat", everything changed. FIRST!! Shocking, absolutely shocking.

Sat at macs to talk kok and the whole session's attention was on Eunice, her "apple" and her "lion backside" LOL.

AMK to play pool ltr on!! But only Hong Xun, Jonatons and me. =( Nvm, we had a nice game though and after tt we asked and no one regretted playing pool =D I learnt pool quite fast and kept snooking Hong Xun. LOL. Tried normal pool and 9 ball. SHIOK!!

Jamie dun delete your blog!!!!!! Delete alr then cannot read about your progress and life le. Its ok even if you have to repeat yr whole day's routine again! Dun delete k!! =D

And Fiona's grown whiter. =D Wait so is this a good thing or not?

Jerrold, Eunice and Ester, still the same.

Hong Xun is super pro at pool!!

Jonatons gets the hang of di-siaoing ppl alr.LOL.

Ahhhhh..more squad outings pls. But sometimes meeting once a while is good because too often just means that we dont really have much to talk about and the feeling of appreciating and looking forward to the outing is not there. Hope we can still meet like at least twice a year, perhaps thrice? That would be great!!

And last but not least, as what Jonatons and I discussed and agreed upon, we do miss the squad and trainings. =(

ZHNP is ALWAYS a GOLD UNIT

Ahh today was so nice. Went back to zhss at like 10 plus in the morning. Saw quite a few of the 2e3'04 people, mainly or majority or should I say, its only the girls. Well some of them were like wearing slippers or flip-flops and so weren't allowed in. I wore shoes!! =D

So went in, saw moses and his gang of AJ and NY people like wei sheng,si hao, hao zi and co. Everyone looked the same. Then ltr on saw wing him(who had chem reretest...hahha wing him you're so lousy),samantha, cheuk yiu, hong xun, jamie and loads of people. Surprisingly quite a number of people didnt turn up. Prob cos they didnt miss the school le bah.LOL. Talked to deng lao shi, mrs ngiam and mr ktan. All didnt change much.So the school was just the same, as small as ever..Went to eat with samantha wing him and co. at Serangoon macs and we had a great chat over stuff and school work.

Ahhhh..and didnt meet with the 6B'04 people..I think somewhere along the way it screwed up.

Reunion dinner was still at the same old place, my elder aunt's house. And so after we "lao-ed" yu sheng, my aunt went to switch on the electric steamboat which I suppose was quite new since she was reading the operations from a manuel and yar, the moment she clicked the on button, "POOM", there was an electric trip, HAHA, just right after we called out "huat ar huat ar" and then poom. Super joke man. So dad went to check out the electric box and we sorta troubleshooted all the electric appliances in the house. Traced it to the steamboat. LOL. Then after dinner my cousin and I went to turn the minute hand of the wall clock faster so we could go down to the basketball court to play since my aunt said that we had to wait for half an hour blah blah blah. LOL.

And I finally found something Im seriously very very good at, which is barking like a dog. My aunt asked me to just bark for everyone to hear since she heard me bark once before and once I did it, all my aunties, uncles and cousins just like got a shock and broke into laughter. LOL.

Then at home, its MAH-JUNG time!! Lost abt like 5 bucks?! But nvm Im going to recuperate the loss from my father tomorrow during the ang-pao session. =P I kept shouting "huat ar huat ar" during the mah-jung session and my dad just followed along so I seriously wont be surprised if my neighbour looks at me with a foul face tomorrow =D

So HAPPY CNY EVERYONE!! =D

Alright finished with ComT presentation today!! Ahhh..Angilee Shah said that our class was the best among all the rest of her 4 classes!! Whooo....we're all like so pro with our presentation skills now, using clip art and pictures to tell the rest of the points without having to use any paper cards or whatsoever. YEAH!! Seriously, we actually dreaded having her as our ComT teacher at first as she loves those creative and nice ways of presentation which was just the exact opposite of what everyone in class wants. So after more exploration, I find that its really interesting to use the different ways to present to the audience and sometimes, pictures can send a better message across than words or phrases.Thks Ms Angilee!! =D

And erm...tmr's sortie 3 liao. I just had sortie 2 last thurs, they gave me sim 3 on sun, and then sortie 3 tmr!! YESH, C'mon SYFC gimme more flights and SIM but dun gimme kick out hor! Sian ar straight and level with Raman. He surely ask me alot of stuff de like how he did in SIM. And I had better not forget his call sign. Called the wrong call sign on sun during SIM with him, super joke lar. Must remember...SKYLARK 96 SKYLARK 96....Apparently I called SKYLARK 97 cos I was flying with Baldev on Thurs for sortie 2 and his call sign is SKYLARK 97 AND the number kept staying in my mind...LOL. Joke.super joke.

MaydayMaydayMayday(Erm learnt it from SYFC haha)
And those ppl in ZHSS NPCC NCOs'06 de..Pls pls tell me or Fiona whether are you able to make it for a meet-up this sat or sun for lunch,URGENT CALL!!!!!!!!!

Saturday, February 02, 2008

Seriously, just tell me.Sometimes, what good do we get when we be nice to others? Most of the time, or rather in my opinion, we get negative comments and stuff, rather than words like a simple "thank you". I find that nowadays, people are getting more and more fussy by the day and when you dont do things the way they want you to, you get "phased out", outcasted, thrown aside or any nasty things you can think of.I have many examples to tell of, some really simple ones that you think might not even be of a big problem and that Im just too petty. But definitely, its the small things that count and tell the big story. What you plan hard and put in effort to accomplish for others might not even be reciprocated back to you. If someone ever does this to me, haha, good for them because I will NEVER do anything else for them because my rationale is, never draw art for a person who does not know how to appreciate it or in any other case, put in the effort to.

We question people whether they do charity for the love of helping others or to gain rewards. Sometimes I feel, its not wrong to do charity for reward, if the reward is awarded in the right way. It can come in a form of a thank you or anything that's right. I find it hard to sustain doing anything without rewards, however big it may be. Would you go around doing charity if there isn't CIP hours given? Most would rather lazy around at home and just watch the TV.

Anyway, lets just all carry on being good and doing good. God will see us and He will know what we've done. Nothing escapes God.

Ok I've rant a little too much but sometimes its good to really thrash things out and let others know that yeah, its really the truth.

Tomorrow's SIM 3 at 2pm. I hope Im ready for the internal checks by then. If I ever get a @##$%# instructor tomorrow, wish me good luck.
