This whole week is a week of meetings.Nope, not arranged before hand, well I should say, God arranged it. Pure coincidence.

On Tues, met Leslie and Di Jie in 157. Didnt take the bus at the same time with Leslie despite having common timings for school on a few occasions. Yup,so we talked and all on the bus. The last time I saw him was abt 2 mths back, during Innova's x-country and I had to take 157 to Macritchie.

Weds, went for a afternoon jog to Bishan. Saw Den. And yeah Den, took you quite a while to recognise me.Haha. I could remember you in an instant k. =)

Thrus, took the 10pm bus. On reaching the Macritchie bus-stop, saw tt a 157 before my bus had some technical problems and the passengers had to wait at the bus stop for me bus. Then, while scanning through those who boarded my bus, I noticed Kang Yan. Nope, I guess he didnt remember who I am. After all it has been a good 4 years. I really start to believe that it is God's arrangement, because he could have another 3 different buses to take from that stop bus instead, my bus was the one he took.

So alr I met 4 ex-Pei Chun Hwa-Chongrians alr.

Now for Thrus afternoon.I went for a jog and upon reaching my ending point J8, I had an urge to walk around J8 like what I did a long time back. So I strolled along the corridor and guess what, met Gary and Tzehin who were intending to catch a movie with their classmates.

Didnt catch anyone else on Fri.

So today, went for Catholic High's carnival and spent most of the coupons on buying doughnuts?? Yeah, nth else much worth a buy. Ltr on went to Amk hub and ate Pepper Lunch. Took the escalator down and saw the 2e3 ppl and of course houzi ting. Going to Novena to collect the Passion run race kit. Whoooo....But I doubt I can complete the whole 5km without resting. Somehow, I've not been training hard for anything more than 3km. Afterall.most of the time Im only timed for 2.4km.

I'm sure many kw of the latest news abt a Tri-athlethe tt jus passed away while participating in a SEA games trial. Well, I dont kw him but since the newsarticles in the Sports section a few days back reported abt him, I got to kw a little more on him and what happened. Basically, his heart stopped functioning after he completed his Triathlon race and before any medical help could be given, he passed away. Well, its a sad thing, for Singapore to lose a talented student and triathlete. I heard from my brother that Thaddeus had been studying in Catholic High pri sch and did not do well in the PSLE examinations. However, he went to appeal to the Catholic High (Sec) sch principal to take him in. The principal agreed to, on the condition that he was able to do well in his Final-year examinations in his then current secondary sch. In the end,he did it. I also heard that he won loads of awards for Catholic High in track events. After his Os, he went to RJ and continued his passion for triathlon there. From what I read, he trained 2 times a day! Well, I cant even push myself to even run twice a wk in the hols. Moving away from the sporting aspect, he was said to be a warm and caring person from testimonies by his family and friends. I personally admire him. He had the passion and determination. He knew what he wanted and worked hard for it. That's what I like, hard work, people who are willing to put in their very best effort to achieve what they want. He postponed a family trip away during the June hols to concentrate on training for the trials. Evidently, he loved the sport and wanted to do well in the trials in order to represent Singapore. He could have just trained like a few times in a week and not care less if he didnt make the mark for the trials. But, he didnt. It's a case of more than 100% effort put in. Somehow, I like ppl who strive hard.Who could have imagined a student with a PSLE T-score of abt 180 plus could make it to RJC. In any circumstance, I believed he worked hard towards it. Hard work always pays, but in his case,it paid off too late. He did not have a chance to reap the rewards. I loved this sentence in the Straits Times atricle on him, "Ironically, it was his big heart which touched family and friends that failed him in the end". I think he probably exerted his heart way too much. But well, before he went, he actually did a good deed for the rest of the triathletes, which is to raise awareness of first aid and medical facilities present at such events.Rest In Peace Boy.

Today's CSS2 was quite average on the whole. Without the likes of Elaine and KEELY!!!, the performance was quite bland. Even Shawn's "Xing Qing" didnt seem to be music to my ears. Hmm....seems like all those in JC were scheduled to perform last week b'cos of the common tests this week? Well, I guess so. Marcus was downright mesmerizing. As what the judges commented, his looks could "kill" and make the aunties start sms-ing for him right away. And no doubt over the judge applauding him on choosing the right song. Ok, Im a little biased here, simply b'cos "Qi Shi Hen Ai Ni" is one of my fav songs of all time. But, he really did choose the right song tt suits his voice and its, well, very well sung! YEAH! Now, my 2 favs for the male and female top 20 would be Marcus and Keely. Whoo, they rock.

THE RULES OF LIFE...RULES!!!

Oh no. The hols are gg to end soon.Im just starting to get the hang of enjoying the hols. For 3 consecutive days I woke up at 11. Not much of a big deal to most ppl who can slp their way to the mid-afternoons,but I've never done that before.

Anyway, Mon's CSS2 was nice. Oh, I thgt Javin would be able to continue on in the competition, but lets hope there is a revival round for him to get back into it again. And Keely sure looks cute. =)

Im feeling so guilty over Tues night. My pri 1 cousin came over to stay with me and with no more mattresses available, mum suggested he sleep with me on the same bed, afterall my bed is quite big. And, I didnt realise this, by 1 in the morning, I was sleeping on top of him! I felt a little uneasy over the "hump" I was sleeping on and my first thgts were tt it was a pillow. Wah seh, didnt kw it was him. And he was trying to be in the most comfortable position he could ever achieve in that small space. Oops..!

Undeniably, Wikipedia is certainly a good source to tap on for fast needs of imformation. I searched their database for the information of universities around the world, esp.Britain and America, and I gain loads of historical knowledge. Also, the information is very well organised. I like the part where they provide links to other definitions, instead of having the user to open another window and paste the word in it. Surely, it makes searching more convenient. I wouldn't mind donating to it since its a cheaper alternative to lugging series of encyclopaedias from the bookshop.

Everything's rising. Nets fees, prices of condensed and evaporated milk, Starhub cable TV prices, GST.

20 years from now, humans will still be humans. We will needa eat, drink, breathe, sleep and sh*t.

OHH, Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

Went out for lunch today at Jack's place. Mum's treat b'cos its father's day. Was the first customer there b'cos we anticipated there might be a huge crowd of ppl gg there for celebrations of father's day too. Yup, as expected, loads of ppl turned up. Anyway, Jack's place's beef is still the best!!

Walked ard popular@central after tt and oh my,nice ambience it was at the 1st storey. Not much ppl ard and loads of nice books.Well, the volume of books there cannot be comparable to tt of Borders but it sure is a quiet place.

Sch's reopen-ing in a week's time and I cant believe it that time is passing so fast. And yay, getting back common tests results soon.

Anyway, this book called "The curious incident of the dog in the night time" is really nice. Most of the time, mystery novels focus mainly on the mystery of the book itself but in this case, half the book is spent talking about the 1st person narrator's life. Oh, and I certainly find it super duper lame or funny or whatever you feel, to have a person die of a broken artery while turning her neck behind when reversing her car into the parking lot?!

Watched Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer on its opening day. Erm,not really tt nice a show. V usual superhero storyline kinda thing. Only some thrilling parts though, unless you're telling me you're watchin it for Jessica Alba. Whoops. Coming up next, Transformers and Harry Potter. Esp. Harry Potter. It'd better not be a disappointment.

Manutd with Nani, Anderson,Hargreaves, and perhaps Gudjohnson = A team tt the Justice League cant even beat! Because we're the SUPER REDS!

Admission..

Last weekend was a food-filling one.Hehe.

Here's Sat

Went for the super duper short follow-up for my Youth Flying Club medical and over there I was supposed to show that I am able to alleviate pressure on my ears.(Well, last wk I just could not get my nose and ears to cooperate together =X) Finally, I could. All thanks to the Lord who blessed me! Whew, finally cleared the medical. So so so hope to be able to pass it.

Proceeded to the Golden Mile food-complex for dinner in the night.Wow, the western food there is cheap, reasonably sized, and well, not bad. Oh, but it still pales in comparison to the waffles ice-cream there. The whole exterior of the shop's wall is filled with posters and newspaper clippings complimenting how good the waffles and gelato(ice-cream in short) is. Tried the waffles and gelato and oh my, simply heavenly. The chocolate dip is superb and the waffles really tastes like waffles??????? The right tinge of sweetness in it and softness. Wah. Shiok. And you'd be rudely surprised if you're hoping to look for those traditional flavours of ice-cream in chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Theres 6 flavours available, namely green tea, banana, coffee, peach and 2 more which I forgot. Its such a waste to have the shop in the Golden Mile Complex,b'cos its not really a v crowded place. Oh well, its not a bad thing too if it can help attract more customers to the complex.

Sunday was quite a boring day. Spent most of my time reading this bk I recently bought "The curious incident of the dog in the night time" I'm sure many ppl would have seen the cover page of the book or even went on to finish reading it.

Campus superstar is nice man. Seriously. The voices of the contestants are not bad and I like to see ppl from different schs perform and esp. mei-meis. HAHA. The thing I dislike is the super unusual time slot for the announcing of the results, 11.30??!! And the results show is always interrupted by advertisements and flash-backs of the singer's performance, which hence drags the whole thing longer and longer and longer. Oh, but the computer generating results thing is quite thrilling. Gives me the excitement.

I'll wait for you.

Life's getting more and more boring, esp. since with the ending of the common tests this week. This afternoon marks the start of 2 weeks of hols before which sch re-opens yet again.

Catched Ocean's 13 today at Bishan GV. Contrary to the ratings given by most critics, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 instead of a 4. Storyline wise, quite ok but a little confusing and those who do not have a good grasp of what those actors are saying would certainly find themselves in a large maze. Anyway, the way they planned the whole plot was amazing. And the execution was just as smooth as it was anticipated to be. Scheming plots by enemies were exposed in the most unusual way.Next up, FANTASTIC 4!!

Just dont understand why ZHSS doesn't let its ex-students into the sch compound. Well, other schools allow. And I'm not just mentioning about neighbourhood schs tt allow. My 28 year old cousin was allowed into Hwa Chong for a soccer game because he was an ex-Hwa Chongrian. And the worst of all is the dis-allowing of cars into the sch car-park. Then may I ask, what is the car-park built for? I can only guess tt the area outside the podium is only for the principal's car or coach buses' use. C'mon, its time to make good use of space. My Dad does not have a problem entering into the Catholic High carpark to fetch my brother. And know what, Catholic High's car-park area outside the podium is so so so so so small compared to tt of ZHSS. If they can implement,ok complete the sentence..... =) Anyway, speaking of ZHSS, caught Fiona and Hong Xun outside the sch compound. Fiona's skin looks much lighter. =P

Oh mum just called to ask if I would like to go to St. James Power Station??????? That's quite...err....unbelieveable.

For a moment, the past seems to be much better. "Abundance is always inversely proportionate to Appreciation," MY THEOREM!!!!!

For You, I will. For You're the only right one to spur me on.

ARGH!! Another sickening day with a bad flu. Whats more I have a medical check-up at Singapore Technologies Medical Centre tmr for my Singapore Youth Flying Club. No matter what, I'm certainly going to get Dad to drive me there. Oh my, its at 8 in the morning, a SATURDAY morning!! And its a Saturday before the Common tests. Oh well. Find it funny that I fell ill last Friday too. Hmmm...Hope I get well soon for the medical.Cant afford to fail it.

1 thing that is funny though. Despite feeling drowsy from taking the flu medicine, I still managed to scrap past and get a 81.67 for my FATS online quiz. That's the fastest and highest I've ever got. Maybe I hastened the pace because I have the strong urge to SLP sooner. Another factor of course, the Lord's blessings. =)

Ok, its time to what I've been wanting to do the whole day. SLEEP!!! BYE!
