Alright after my long post about my trip I shall do a short summary of 2007.Erm its been a great year and with every year I learn more new things and gain more experience. However, it has also left me with a mark, that would be one of the biggest regrets I would consider in my life, which is the JAE poly JC exercise thing and I wont elaborate on that lest it makes me feel so damn sad and regretful again not entering an average jc from the start. Certainly I've grown more in this year that's going to pass and no matter what it changed my life somehow in a way or another. Afterall life is like a rainbow, with all the bright and dull colours together.Somehow I feel that time really zooms past and to back-up this statement up, I can still recall very clearly what I did this CNY! No resolutions for me because I know I wont be able to track the whole thing down and fulfill it but perhaps I would prefer my life to just go on as usual and for me to explore various aspects of life and be more insightful. Yeah, it what I would want.

Happy New Year!! =)
Alright, since I dont feel like doing ANYTHING now, I'll post photos of my Shanghai trip

At this place called Cheng-Huang Miao on our first day. Thgt that it was somewhere to go pray when its actually a shopping area!? Lol.

Ok this is what I call cultural difference. =D lol.

This is the shop where we ate the xiao-long bao! Super nice. The filling is not the meat kind, its crab eggs! Shlurp shlurp yum yum!

Okay this is the night view of some small river in suzhou. It looks so much nicer than Clarke Quay. But if you want night views that are better than Clarke Quay, hold on to the later part of this post, you'll be amazed. =)

OUR BOAT RIDE! Haha

The houses along the small river, and this is not some scenic view thing, ppl do stay in them!

The boat behind us.

Im sure some of you heard of this place called Xi-hu. So yeah this is a small little part of the lake. Looks quite nice as a scenic desktop background. Lol.

Alright, the "greedy" fishes at the side lake of Xi-Hu.

Wan-Song-Shu-Yuan (Wan-Song school).Okay its only at there did my tour-guide told us that the story between Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai was fake?! I was damn gullible to have believed it for like dunno how many yrs. Argh. Lol. But its once the best sch or smth in Suzhou history.

The "wishes" ppl hang when they visit Wan-Song-Shu-Yuan.

At the top of some bridge that crosses the Chang-Jiang. Said to be the pride of all Chinese in the past when the western powers declined to provide us help to build the bridge. And you're right, its SUPER COLD up there.

This guy, or rather artist, is one of those who sold his work to help raise $ for the bridge. His art-works are quite superb. Drawing inverted images in a sperical ball so as to make the image look right on the outside. Pro but he's quite dao. =P

This is the statue of some lady in the past (oops I forgot her name =P). Had to huddle across a few steep stones to get to tt particular stone in order to take a close-up.So how guys what must you do? hint (*clap clap). Hehe.

At this place called the San-guo-Cheng (Castle of the Three-Kingdoms). This is where CCTV filmed the romance of the 3 kingdoms. Behind me (not sure whether you can see) is Tai-Hu, yeah another lake. The thing is, this lake is like 4 times bigger than S'pore!

This is a formation thing at some temple. It is said if you move around the five bats around the circle and then step onto the blue thing at the centre, you'll have a good marriage for married couples and romance will blossom for singles. =) (I STEPPED =D) Lol.

Ah with mum and dad at the other side of Tai-hu. See the ferris wheel behind? Yeah. looks so like the one we have in Singapore.

This was taken in Madam Tussaud's Shanghai wax museum. It has wax museums over a few countries in the world. Yeah its called "Zhen-ren-la-xiang-guan" in chinese. The wax figures are super real man.See on.

Ronaldo.Actually didnt wanna take with him but no other soccer-stars around alr! So no choice. Haiz, make do with him. =(

Haha, trying on to be like a china gymnastic person but it so hard to lift my legs up =(

Jordon!

I think this is Jerry Yan, isit? Hmmmm....

This is the beginning of the night scenes part. Some are a little unclear so do click on it to get a better colour view. On the ferry travelling along Huang-pu Jiang (Huang-pu river) while taking this. Super nice scenery. Everyone in the tour was in awe of the night view in Shanghai.

The permanent docking dragon restaurant by the river bank.

Dunno what hotel is that with the lotus at the top.Lol.

Dong-Fang-Ming-Zhu-Ta a.k.a The pearl of Shanghai. Super nice structure. And guess what, the middle section is built as president suites.COOL! =D

Some sphere-like building next to the Pearl of Shanghai. Looks so nice and class. So much like a dance hall kinda thing.

Shanghai-Tan! Yeah we always hear of tt old movie and mr keong keeps singing that song on teachers day which just triggers the whole school into laughter. Looks so much like a court house.

Yup,more of the beautiful structues lighted up at night.

A picture from above the Dong-Fang-Ming-Zhu-Ta! 263m above ground and its the position of the middle of the 3 balls. Obviously we cant go to the one at the top because its used for radio frequency transmissions!

Overall night view of Shanghai from above.Nice isn't it! Told you. So much more better than Singapore's

Students doing morning exercise at the school next to my hotel. So organised! To be honest, it looks a little much more organised than zhss's november papa charlie charlie PT. And the organisation is based on the student's own initiative so Im very impressed with it.

View of the city outside my hotel. Can you see the Pearl of Shanghai? Yup, only a little of it cos the rest is covered by fog. And fog is a issue not to be taken lightly there.

Taking a photo with a christmas tree at one of a street called Xing-Tian-Di. Yeah the street name sounds quite kid-ish but the things there are ouch! A cup of coffee is even more expensive than its starbucks equivalent in Singapore.

This is a picture of the small "pond" in a park in Shanghai. And their park is like a whole condo estate kinda land space with like 8 exits?!

Waiting for the bullet-train at the platform and its super COLD!

The bullet-train is here!

Looks like the train in Astro Boy.Lol. Sleek and Cool right! This is currently the world's fastest bullet train, beating the ones in Japan. Highest speed attainable,430km/h! Route distance, 32km, which is like very short and it links only from the train station to the airport.

=( only 301km/h for our trip but still it is quite fast and surprisingly, the trip is very smooth

Okay, last photo of my Shanghai trip! Everyone at the airport checking in.Notice the things sticking down from the roof, yeah that's the design on the airport at the Shanghai Pudong International airport. Unique right! =D

All in all, this is one of my greatest overseas trips.

The tour guide there is very very knowledgable in many aspects such as history, scenic structures and esp. feng-shui.Lol.I love her talks on feng-shui. The outdoor scenes were great and weather was nice too,9-13 degrees celcius. Our tour group was fantastic.Everyone was very punctual and the mood was there. There were a few families who were super funny throughout the whole trip and its tough not to laugh when they crack something up.

Hotels were fine (since its definitely better than the tents in NPCC).Food was at some point a little oily and salty but I super enjoyed the xiao long-bao and dong-po meat. The only disappointment for food was the breakfast which really sucked totally.Camp breakfast was so much better.

Slashing of prices was fun and having the shop-keeper chase you the whole corridor for you to relent in and buy their stuff.

It really made an impact on how I see the world now and its really a big big world out there. What we think over here as nomal is sometimes a luxury to those out there far far away. And we really too have parts to improve on and a long long way to go. Those who wish to go to Shanghai I seriously encourage you to go there with an open mind and immerse yourself in the culture and tradition there. Nothing more than fun can describe it.

And lastly, I would like to thank God for blessing me with a safe and enjoyable trip. =D

Okay, I promised to blog about the trip but seriously I hv no mood to do so man. Not in the sense that I've better things to do but somehow Im automatically in this "slack" or dunno what mood and it makes me lose my appetite and yar, it just spoils my whole mood. So I shall do it with the photos when I've sieved through them!

Had SYFC ystd.Ground sch exam = discussion session since I missed my lectures while overseas. Thgt that I might be able to go for keyboard next week but hv make-up safety brief!! Ah missing 2 keyboard lessons alr. Then lunch and mentoring session in the afternoon. My mentors were quite nice and they sorta described everything quite clearly to us. Tried a round of aircraft external checks and yay, still able to remember all the locations for the checks and the requirements! Suppossed to end at 6 but mentors all like rushing to eat prata I think so the whole session ended at 4. Lol. Rained super heavily outside the Seletar gate and so had to stand nearer to the seats instead of the boarding platform at the bus-stop. Thus, I missed the bus 86 and had to wait for the other one which costed me like #$%#$ minutes. Argh.

Sch re-opening soon and hmwk = unfinished. But never mind, when there's a will, there's a way so I'll get my will down tmr. =D

Alright Im back from my trip and erm....yah, dont feel like coming back man cos its really fun and nice over there. Dont know what wrong with me but suddenly I dont feel right at home.Well.probably its because I've spent 9 nice days there and really, its an unforgettable experience for me. I shall blog about it soon in the next few hours while I get some rest first. =D

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

Alright I cant seem to sleep now and its 4.38am in the morning so its just hours away from my flight. Most probably its excitement that keeps me awake but then again I dont really think there's anything exciting abt the trip other than the pirated goods. Hehe.

Received my FIRST Christmas present ystd! After SYFC, went to J8 to meet dad cos I dont feel like going home by public transport though its just like between bishan and toa payoh?! Ok then, went to royal sporting house to "look see look see". They had quite a few good discounts on and dad was trying on their adidas jackets. Well then he asked me if he looked ok and comfortable in it and I just gave the "yar quite ok" kinda answer. Then he said "quite ok ar? er ok lorh, buy 1 for you" Wah seh, that totally changed the whole thing man. Lol. WHOO HOO! =D

Speaking abt my trip, the S$1 pirated dvd drama serials!! I guess my aunts are going to sms my mum a whole exhaustive list on what to shows to buy back from there. Lol. Ok and if anyone wants to get a dvd from there just sms me yeah cos I'll be auto-roaming my phone, since its a free offer initiative by Sing-tel anyway. Taiwan serials, hong kong serials, korean serials or movies, anything I guess can be found there.=)

Manutd won liver-BOO on last sat! Luck was one of the evident contributing factors. Close saves by the defenders really saved the whole team and rooney's power strike was enough to close the game after a teves deflection from that. But the disappointing thing is that ass-ernal won chelsea and so yeah, both teams are still back to their usual point difference. =( Jia-you MANUTD! The christmas season is the most important period to regain back the points !

Gonna bring my SYFC stuff there to study =(. Cos there's the ground sch exams thing just on the next day when I return. Lucky for me Im not gonna miss much stuff but yeah the feeling of missing something, esp.lessons, doesn't seem right for me. Oh well I think as long as I pass its gonna be alright. I hope......Lol.

It was once and then forever...

Friday, December 14, 2007

Ahhh YES! All my SYFC ground sch lessons are now pushed to SAT! Which means no more worrying or how to pon class to make up the lessons there!! A super big burden off my mind and at last I can go on my tour with much peace. THANKS GOD! =)

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Wahhh ok I think Im gonna slp at 2am tonight just like last night. Never slept so late consecutively for 2 days before. But its alright man since its the Common tests period now and I suddenly feel that I can absorb much much better at night. =D Maths today was quite fine with the exception of the last qn but overall its OK! =) Then tmr after AEL IM FREE!!!!! YES! Ok another 12 hours more to go.

In Life,do what's sensibly best for yourself, afterall, you run your own life!

Monday, December 10, 2007

Tmr's maths!! Ahh, the only paper I like, cos Im aiming to finish it in 1/2 hr instead of the 1.5 hr given and the crux to getting full marks lies in the last qn which is the application kinda qn.Weds sian ar AEL. That subj is like a whole blur to me. Anyway, then either thurs or fri is SYFC.Then next week Weds is OVERSEAS till next next Thurs. Whoo. But loads of work to do this hols. AMTL 10 page indv report, C programming grp project with Jason, SYFC test =( All to be finished in a span of like...4days when I return?! Ok I think I'd better finish up the AMTL report before I leave.

Guang Liang's voice is great! There's this song in his new album called Yan Huo which is quite...hmmmm...refreshing and nice!

A difference in verbal ability makes a difference everywhere.

Wah Sian liao Sian liao. Have you ever tried going for the orientation programme and quitting the next moment?! Damn it lar. Went for SYFC Orientation today and the time-table they gave was enough to kill me instantly. Classes on Thurs and Tues!! How to go?! Got prac man and what's more pracs are the super impt ones. If I miss I will have a super super high chance of getting de-barred. SIAN AR. Now I really really got smth to say. When ppl mention that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Yeah sure,so you're trying to say only the tough move on and the lousy ones lag behind. But not true in this case for me cos its not that I dun wanna move on, but the thing is HOW TO MOVE ON?! HAIZ SIAN AR! =(

This is a little emotional so those who are having a happy day you might wanna refrain from reading this.

Woke up at around 5.30 this morning. Parents were already up at 4.All of a sudden everyone seemed so quiet and went about with our washing-up. Left the house for the airport at about 6. In the car, our family started talking with the maid about how she's gonna spend life in Philippines. At some point we would laugh about life and how things are going on around us. There never seemed to be anything wrong but its always calm before the storm arrives. I can just feel the kind of feeling everyone had in them. Reached the airport, checked in her luggage and went for breakfast. Her last meal in Singapore. Nothing unusual though because chatting continued as usual. Ok then here comes it. We moved the luggage outside the toilets and after doing our "business", we all knew it was time to move on,not in the real sense of the phrase. We all just broke down and Dad also had tears welling up. We hugged and said our last words. It was something that was not to be expected by me. I thought that it would be alright for her to go home and nothing would be so big about it, but no. It then felt as though a member of the family was leaving and more possibly, forever. She saw me though Pri sch and Sec sch. She took care of my brother from the time he was born. And now, he in Sec 2. To round it off, her 12 years here in a way or another touched out lives and Im sure it left a positive mark on hers too. Now, home seems to be not the same anymore. Its not about the over dependency we had on her, but more of the feeling of lost. Her room below seems empty and echos can be heard from the conversations held in the room. It may take a few days for us to move on, but it takes nothing to erase it off.

Wednesday, December 05, 2007

Went out for dinner just now. My maid's gg home tmr alr. After 12 years here in Singapore, tmr's the day for her.But she's not even sure if this is what she desires. Maybe a few days later,it would seem alright to her because she would feel much more comfortable with her family. Aunts and Grandma went for the dinner too because my maid really helped my whole family alot during her period of stay. All of them see her as a very capable maid who really is very hardworking. Took some photos and quite alot of my aunts gave ang-paos. My family wrote a card too. So, naturally, someone under that circumstance, would break down. And yeah, we also shed a few tears with her and it was a chain reaction. Lol. The short session made my flu condition even worse. At home we said a few words to her and asked her to provide us with her address. Dad even joked that if there's something we cant find in the house we will call her to ask. Haha. Like the the still waters can hide a massive eddie current under it, we all too felt sad though we did not show it on our facial expressions. Skipping 1 hour of useless maths tutorial tomorrow to go down to the airport since its just common tests revision and everything for maths now is quite chicken feet plus revision is done. I can just like predict that tmr we will all like ....haiz dunno man. =( But all the best to her and I sincerely appreciate her for her 12 years here with us. It will surely stay etched in my memory forever. =)

Got interviewed my mediacorp ppl today while eating at SIM. Lol.Cos we were eating chicken rice and they were doing a TV programme on Campus Food. Marcus was like quite blur when they asked him to speak in Chinese and in the end I had to step in to finish off the interview. So I guess I'll be on TV quite soon. =D

Ahhh mum said no to soccer tmr cos of my FLU. BAD BAD FLU!!! ARGH.

Tuesday, December 04, 2007

SIAN LAR!!!!! Fell super super ill today. Down with a very bad flu. Kept sneezing in class today man. If there were to be a continuous "blow-wind-blow" competition, nobody would be able to win me. =P And what's more Im having a fever kinda feeling. You know the feel of going to be down with a fever? Yeah, that's what its all about. So I mean what's the big fuss of having a flu or fever? Hear this! Tmr, AMTL test, 25% of the overall grade!! Thurs, I dun wanna miss my soccer session before the common tests!! Sat, SYFC ORIENTATION, miss it and I dun think I will get to touch the pilot joystick anymore. Next Tues and Weds, COMMON TESTS!! So yeah, dont you think its so un-right to be down with flu and fever now? And the only way for a fast cure is to take my pills and yeah, the fastest way definitely require the strongest pills. So I have to consume the DROWSY ones and it made me feel like sleeping the whole day. Or rather, I felt as if I was floating about in school the whole time. ~~~~~

ARGH, backing to studying my Aircraft Materials. =(

Monday, December 03, 2007

Ahh, common tests coming alr next week. Lucky only 2 papers.Heh-heh-heh. Still can do some revision at the end of the week. But but but, end of the the week is damn bloody packed. Sat is my SYFC orientation from 8-5! Whoa, surely super sian but just REN for about 1-2 mths then I think it would be much better alr.

Finished sch at 12 today which is super SHUANG. Come home alr still can have a slow lunch plus a 2 hr nap.Wake up around 3 plus.Plenty of time to spend the afternoon and evening. If only there's like more of such days. =(

2 more weeks to Shanghai! Looking forward to the S$1 plus DVDs. 1 whole set of movies/dramas for just S$1-2?!??!? Yeah, thats the market there. Hehe =D

Going jogging alr. Byee~

Thursday, November 29, 2007

Alright, so today, we lost 5 promising young Singaporeans who had lighten-ed up everyone in their lifes. Its really a sad and tormenting period for their families and friends. Imagine going back to sch with your PE teacher not there anymore.Imagine going back to sch with your friend gone forever. After reading the online reports and videos, anyone, even a stranger, would feel the utmost sorrow deep down in their hearts. Somehow, we can relate to them even if our paths never crossed. The minister's tribute to them was nothing less than touching and Im sure it was what he had wanted to express right deep down in his heart. And like what I will say, its only in a crisis that true feelings are shown. The national dragon-boat team really stands as one. Im sure the 5 of them would be honoured to have their team-mates walk their last journey with them. They fought hard for Singapore, and they fought well. Its never about the winning, its about the passion and the spirit of One. I guess God has taken good care of them in Heaven and may their souls Rest In Peace forever.

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23:6

AHHHH FINALLY!!!! WEDS IS OVER!!

Ok its not that I want Thurs to come faster but because weds is a long and tired day esp. during EECAD lessons. But the thing is you cant just "switch off" during EECAD lessons because you have to try and try and try to rectify your circuit board until it is PERFECT which means not a component or wire more/less. Whew, survived today's lesson. So fortunately the circuit board didnt give me problems when I did all the checks. =D

Bought this book called Mega Starz Hit Volume 12.Its a score book and yeah, a chi one. I was tracking it down for quite a number of weeks and YES, they finally delivered it to the bookstores. Inside there's XI JIE!,ZI YOU BU BIAN! and a few other nice songs but yeah, I bought it because of the presence of the first 2 songs. =P Tried playing it on the keyboard just now and ITS FREAK'IN HARD TO SIDE-READ THE SCORES! I was doing quite alot of manual counting on which chord is to be played next. Oh well, I think I gotta get my teacher to write down the various positions for me to make things easier but hey, at least I managed to get the chorus right today. =)

Just hope it doesn't rain tmr because its SOCCER DAY!

Unfamiliar Sorrow

Just so super pissed off with this comment made by a stuck-up b%$ch on STOMP who keeps harping on the topic of poly people being lousy and stuff. And the thing is that she keeps going "6 pointers here and 6 pointers there" Oh come on,6 pointers are not real all rounders too. Not everyone is perfect.Sometimes, what we want from others is a chance, you get it! A CHANCE! I experienced going into a hawker centre that has so little cleaners, so much so that there's loads of rubbish and left-over food waiting to be cleared. So if we do not have these people,do you expect to stand up and clear all these stuff miss "6 pointer"?Although I feel that there's some correction to be made to the poly system, I dont feel good about having ppl from the JCs looking down on the poly peeps. JC ppl are alr at an adv and what more do they want!? Scholarships, they are at a SUPER ADDED ADV. Uni entries? Needless to say. Why cant everyone just bury all their differences and carry on with life. Does it matter so much if you're from poly or JC? This is the same thing as racial discrimination. We do not look down on another party who is from a more humble background. Dont tell me if your dad is from a poly you'd just go slap him and say "Im ashamed of you". Or if your boss was from ITE and you'd go say "Im from blah blah blah JC and Im more suitable to take over your position". I guess your boss would just withdraw all his cash from the bank and make you count his endless fortunes. Play by the rules of the jungle, survival of the fittest. If you're good,no matter where you are, you will win. If poly students aren't good enough, they wont be able to survive uni then. However, if they manage to come out of uni well in 1 piece, then there's got to be smth in them. I presume this thread was started by a stuck-up B$%ch who cant enter uni and start blaming the poly ppl. Oh come on I've a good Os score too but I still moved to poly so what's your prob DUDE!

Monday, November 26, 2007

Alright Im gonna be super busy these few weeks. Firstly, common tests coming soon and though only 2 topics to prepare for,its still quite time consuming considering that I've to do revision and stuff. Then theres all the non-common-test topics which just mainly consists of all the project work and stuff and can blow your mind off if you're not that "smart" enough because effort doesn't take a high percentage of your success rate. Dip plus is another headache because the common test would be in Jan and the questions are really really "A" level standard. SYFC's orientation is gonna start soon so it means Sat is fully booked from 8-5. In addition to the Sat rush, there's keyboard lessons from 5-6 and the teacher is moving on to book 2 so the stuff is starting to get really hard. All in all, I just cant wait for the Christmas Vacation to begin!!!!

Read the Sunday Times yesterday and damn shocked to see Trey's photo on the 3rd page where they said 5 dragon-boat rowers from Singapore drowned in a Cambodia river. For a moment I was like #$%#$ and after reading the article carefully, I realised that he was still playing DOTA in class on Fri so how can he be rowing the boat there?! Ok, not a laughing matter though. Feel real sorry for those who lost their loved ones there because they are all young prominent youths representing the nation for something prestigous. But something is really wrong with them about not wearing life jackets! I mean safety is the first priority no matter who you are, because even a super fit world class olympic swimmer can be swept away by the current. I mean people, just ask yourself this, is the current stronger or your muscles? The answer is obvious. Haiz. Hope this can serve as a lesson to those who are participating in water sports out there. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE FORCES OF NATURE.It wont be that troublesome to wear a life jacket.Another 500 grams to secure your life.

Ok now, this would be another incident mum would use to deter me from water sports. =(

FINALLY! It came a little too early than I'd expected it to though. But, I got the LETTER from Singapore Youth Flying Club! Many a time I had expected to receive a postcard telling me that I had failed to enrol in the club, so coming this far is quite like a dream come true for me. =D The lady had told me earlier a few weeks back during the interview that the confirmation letter would be sent next year and so when I saw the letter last night it was like "oh gosh, surely kanna kick out alr" but opened it and the first sentence that made me understand the whole meaning of the letter was "we are pleased to inform you that ..." blah blah blah. Just hope that I can complete the whole course because from what I know its really really tough to move onto the next stage. The thing that troubles me the most is the transport part and the timing which can really drive anyone up the wall. I think I'd have to inject like $100 into my Ez-link card soon because the journey's really far. Ok, so with the solving of problem brings up another 2 more. LOL.

Above All.

Saturday, November 17, 2007

I just finished my keyboard class like an hour ago and I rushed home just to post this.

Guess who I saw in the train just now. MARCUS!!! Oh my!! If you guys remember in my previous posts like 2 months back I was mentioning that Marcus was this Raffles guy in the Campus-superstar competition. Wing him tried to make me jealous when she told me that she saw him at J8 at the level below the one she was on. Oh gosh wing him, today, Marcus was STANDING BESIDE ME! =P He's damn tanned and since its the hols I guess he went to highlight some of his hair but it looks cool on him anyway. But he's not really tt tall as I'd expected, just a little taller than me but from first sight he looks like a damn fit boy. And I was hearing the "Wo Ke Yi" song's chorus when he stepped into the carriage. Wah even though there's like such a minute chance of meeting him, I still did. Tonight surely strike 4D de..LOL. MARCUS ROCKS! =D

WO KE YI! =)

Ahhh, got the new TEE-BEE today. So sleek and cool and BIG! =D Rushed home after sch today to see it. And I didnt know Im could tune the tv channels to the cable tv box myself and blah blah blah..Just looked through the buttons and TADAH, got it right.Oh and changed the analogue set-top box to the digital one too. And and and,I didnt know this but we subscribed to ALL THE CHANNELS!! Oh my so means about 100 plus channels are 24 hours available for me to watch!! AHHH, so means theres no such thing as being forced to watch boring channels.LOL YEAH! =)

WEEKENDS ARE HERE! TIME TO UNLEASH THE WEEKEND MOOD! MuHaHahahah...

Samsung ROCKS!

Thursday, November 15, 2007

Ahh, back from my game of soccer.Hehe.

Today's not tt bad. Managed to crack the sch's Maths Online system.LOL. Next time can complete all the questions at the speed of light (or perhaps faster).=)

EEPS was quite cool. FINALLY I KNOW HOW TO DO THE OSCILLOSCOPE QUESTIONS! Well, I alr knew how to do them from lesson 2 but this time Im very certain abt it. YAY! Did soldering too and the smell of the lead vapour was quite $%^$% to me. Had to open the window to allow for the lead vapour to escape. My soldering was quite ok considering that Im a first timer in it, only some parts that are not that covered.WHOOOO..

Played soccer at Potong Pasir with the usual people. Ground was wet and I slipped down TWICE! It's like this hard bang on the ground that goes "POOM" and everyone was like "ok anot?" Somemore both times were in front of the SAJC girls sia. Haiz, no face alr. LOL. Played on and my form for the game got worse. Prob. due to the slight arm discomfort from my fall. The opponent team kept zham-ing the balls into our goals at such great strength. I didnt even dared to stop it though I was wearing my contacts. Scary.

Lalalalalala, tmr's FRI! YIPEE! Then comes the weekends. It feels as if its a few days ago that Deepavali was on.Hmmmmmmm......

PS
After playing soccer Marcus and his friends were having a debrief and since he was the leader he led the debrief session. The way he conducted it really really made me feel as if I was in NPCC again, reliving those camp debrief nights. I still remember that it was those cold and tiring nights that we were having our debrief sessions for that day and the officers/NCOs would ask us how's our day or hows the training. Then everyone goes on to speak their mind honestly and the group would have a good laugh about it. Hmpmmmm....Really miss those days man and also the cold morning when we're awake and waiting for the day to start and everyone would be like so quiet and sleepy.Oh and also those night patrols where everyone in the group would wanna walk faster just to be able to catch a few minutes more of sleep. Ahhhh...miss NPCC. Why cant they just have it in poly/college =(

Before the first ray shines.

Wah sian sian sian, today's like only Tues! There's the EECAD tmr which is like super SIAN. Haiz. But this week's quite ok, soccer on thurs, new tv on fri, gg to Terminal 3 on sat. Hmmmm...at least not so boring =D

AMTL prac today was damn funny and full of jokes. Tuan Jiaw and I unleashed all our super lame jokes and instead of listening to the prac we tried to crack one another's lame jokes.LOL super fun man. In the end we sort of distracted the others cos they were also quite keen to hear our jokes as compared to doing the boring prac sheet. =P

The plane that never stops.

Haiz....The internet is lagging like nobody's business. Its not as if Im dwl or uploading anything onto the net. Whatsmore Im using broadband man. Paying that much per month only to get internet service that's like#$%$%#$%?????It doesn't happen just that once or twice. Oh man, and the wireless@SG is like so #$#$%#$# also. Only at certain hotspots do you get good connectivity. And the sign-up/log-in page takes like forever to load so its seems like its useless to have superb connectivity if the user cant even log into the page?!

Oh and I think that the terminal 3 is opening for public viewing today isn't it?Oh man as an aerospace student it would be a pity not to visit the new terminal and perhaps Im able to catch a glimpse of the new A380!! =D Oh man, as quoted by the Airbus CEO on the official handover of the first A380 to Singapore Airlines, "The A380 is not a luxury, its a necessity!" YEAH MAN! =)

The law of nature, the flow of logic, the theory of luck.

Ahh super FULL day today.

Went out to Jack's Place at AMK for lunch. The lunch set there is really worth it because at 20 bucks you can get a whole set ranging from the soup-of-the-day to the dessert. Super crowded. Ok, actually I would prefer to patronise the one at Bras Brasah. I mean, it looks quite class to dine, chat and look at all the buildings around you unlike at AMK where you only have the road for viewing accompaniment. Lol. Ok.

Had steamboat for dinner. Shiok man. Prawns, super fresh fish,Japanese mushrooms, sotong and CHEESE TOFU! I ate egg-tofu before but cheese tofu is something I haven't tried till today. Super yummy.

Oh gosh all this eating is going to get me very fat man and what's more I skipped my weekly session of swimming to go for lunch at Jack's place.Gotta cut down on food alr for this coming week. =P

Heard that the BEE movie is quite nice. Anyway the BEE looks really cute and the trailer is quite funny too. Ahhh, super busy to catch a movie now but I think I might just be squeezing out some time to watch this because somehow it looks too nice to be missed. =D

VROOM! and the heart zooms past.

Saturday night soccer will never ever ever be the same.Because, gotta new TV! Yeah, the Samsung black LCD one tt is always advertised on TV. Whooo. Actually a few days ago took out the old TV to clean the back of it then who knows, after the switch was taken out, it never "felt" like going back. Lol. So no choice, gotta get a new one and since the Samsung one looks sleek and cool, we bought it. I can seriously forsee myself locking myself upstairs, switching on the air-conditioning and browsing from channel to channel because watching tv is simply not the same anymore.=) Oh and imagine having a PS3 connected to the TV. Nothing can describe it at all. So another reason to get a PS3 hehe. =P

Aiyah suddenly gotta urge to do some kayaking/canoeing but everyone's shoo busy. I dont wanna go down to Macritchie and rent a one-seater kayak man. That'd be too boring alr. Ok, its time to source for more "temporary" kayakers to join this suagu here (yours truly).

Was listening to 883Jia FM's top 20 chart last night. Wonder who still listens to 883Jia FM now. Most people are always tuning in to 987. Oh anyway, heard this song that ELLA sung and its really really very nice. I think its called "qiang3 qiang2".I suppose its her dog or smth but the lyrics and the melody makes it sound sad. Super lovely song and I think its quite suitable if you're in the mood of remembering someone who's close to you.

Manchester United Jackets are COOL! =)

Life is more than just spelling it out L-I-F-E. It means more than that. It smacks the harsh reality of society on you, it tells you straight in the face what it means to live Life in this world. Sometimes, people are just that unaware of what is going on. They never seem to notice those who are constantly by their side rooting for them. They just walk away taking it for granted, seeming as if it was meant to be. Instead, they source for others who bring them what they desire. This is what Life is all about. People often say that time will tell a person inside out.But for me, I do not consider time as the crucial factor. I would rather prefer to say that a crisis does because when personal interests are about to be sacrificed, you'll realised a whole 180 degrees change. Its as though the sun has risen from the west.In this instance, it does not require a whole lifetime to tell a person out, it may just be a minute for the truth to unfold. And when those who are blindly led wake up from their "sweet dreams",they will have to acknowledge the fact that it will never be that "sweet" anymore, and that those people will never stand by them. Regret shall be the only word in their mind. In Life, Trust no-one else, but Yourself.

Enjoyed today man!

Went out for a while in the morning. Afternoon to Serangoon for soccer with kenneth and the rest of those who finished their Os alr. Saw Yan Chang at the soccer court. Lol, still the same old guy as he was in NP but now soccer not bad. Played a few rounds till Marcus's care-group mates came, but MARCUS WAS NOT THERE?!?!?! Ok , he was sick, so rest well Marcus! Played with them and I've gotta admit they are super duper friendly. Chester was super on form today and he kicked us in the @#%@#$@. Kai Siang said that he cant believe we lost and I played terribly too. Lol. Played the last match and got a 3 goal straight thrashing from the pros. Overall nice session bah.

Took a bus with Kenneth to Novena square next to Ben and Jerry's cos he wanted to look for a job there? Lol. Ok. Went to people-watch around there too before going home. =)

And guess what, I chanced upon this super cool video on Youtube on this guy playing Jay's new song "Pu Gong Ying De Yue Ding". Wah, amazed and shocked. Super good man. As in he's melodies and stuff are all falling in the right place in the right timing. Superb playing style too. Though the background's a little noisy, but I can still feel the essence of the tunes. Wah,shiok man. Here's the link man if you ppl wanna see, he plays other songs too.

Sian ar tmr sch, but anyway, Sat's here again! Wah this week seems to past sho sho sho sho sho fast.Hmmmmmmmmm.........

Tmr's a holiday, which means no sch!!! Yeah, nice for all those in colleges, sec sch and pri sch but not for ME! Cos gotta do make-up and so its super SIAN! Imagine lagging behind others by 1 lesson. Argh. Gotta make use of my hols tmr then.

All of a sudden everyone's like so busy with their activities. Like is this the way teenagers are suppossed to spend their lives? Ar, before we all even know it, there goes our youth.

Its so absolutely unlike me to only listen to 1 song from Jay's new album but seriously to me, only 1 song sounds quite decent to me.Bleah.

Finally J-Me has a blog! Happy Blogging J-Me!. =)

The ordinary black and white keys that produce the extra-ordinary melodies

Super DISAPPOINTED. Though Arsenal played quite well last night,I believed strongly that the Manutd second goal would bring the team through to victory. It hasn't. Poor defence and a good concentrated effort from the home team forced a draw out of the game. Actually screamed my lungs out when Ronaldo scored but the whole face turned @@#%#$%@#$ when they equalised. HAIZ. Work HARDER Manutd. =(

Forgot the whole story, but it ends out that I might be getting 2 pair of Asics this time instead of the 1 I bought! Hahahah, shooooo happy.

Heard Jay's new album. IMO, some of the songs carried the same style and melody of one of his older pieces. But but but, he nv fails to perform. There's this 1 song tt's super nice, called Pu Gong Ying De Yue Ding. Ha, LOVELY. Even Miic agrees with me. Lol. Super nice. Quite suitable to be one of the theme songs for his movie Secret. Listened for the 50th time today alr.Lyrics also v cool and compatible with the song. Go listen yeah! =)

Swam about 20 laps today. Loads of ppl at the pool today cos of some competition. Saw Yongcheng there. His sister represents RGS swimming sia, sho cool. Tons of ppl jumping from the board and Im damn pissed off with a few of them who just jumped in like its their damn pool without even looking out if others are nearby.

Im beginning to find out if perseverance does pay off.

Friday, November 02, 2007

Do you guys know how to spell H-A-P-P-Y? Yeah, that letter's floating in my mind right now.Cos.. I finally got my pair of Asics todaY!! Har har har har har...Chose a grey coloured one cos it looks quite cool.Hmmmm...hope to begin my first "journey" with it soon!! =)

Finally Sat is here tmr.And it will be a stay-home Saturday (sounds so channel 5) cos its MANUTD versus pathetic arsenal.Yeah, see the difference in how I type the letters of the 2 teams and you'll know who Im rootin for. =P So hope that MANUTD will end up thrashing arsenal and get back on track in the title race.

The most important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle.

Back from a game of soccer with Marcus and his church friends. Didnt perform well today.Ok, as always my soccer isn't that good so since when am I performing well?!?!LOL. Scored 2 goals today but could have increased the tally much more. The keeper today was just too on form. Remember that theres this goal I was so confident of scoring and when it was tipped out of that on form keeper's hands I just practically yelled in the soccer court.Haha. All in all, nice game we had.

Now I know what's the best cure should I ever encounter the problem of constipation.Playing soccer. Everytime I get home from a game of soccer, within an hour's time. I would end up in the toilet doing business, well not literally. It sort of "magically" makes me do "business".Lol.

Arr,, tmr's Fri alr!! Yipppeee, Sat's here.

All the best to those having their OP yeah, esp. J-Me cos I know you're having it tmr.Lol!

The person who makes my dream become a ....reality.

Ah, 1 reason Im proud of Singapore is that..........We have a GREAT SINGER called LIN JUN JIE!!!! Oh my, I never get tired listening to his songs over and over again. And everytime you listen to it, it sort of brings a refreshing feeling to you,as if you're hearing it for the first time. Most of his compositions are super nice, and theres 2 I particularly like, Xi1 Jie4 and Zi4 You2 Bu2 Bian4. Whoa, must listen everyday or not will $%#$#$%#$%..Hehe.

Alright, back to listening!! =)

Monday, October 29, 2007

Like so, the 3rd week of sch has started. Went to my new IS class today.Saw a few people from AE so at least not as bad as the other class where practically no one was in AE. Was assigned a new IS group today by my teacher and thankfully, my group mates look like those that would do work, well I hope time would prove this to be right. Laughed quite alot with this guy in by group who sits next to me but surprisingly I dun remember his name. Just that it sorts of sound smth like "tau pok"?! Yeah.

Rest of the day was fine. Super strong urge to sleep during the diploma plus programme cos the Ang-moh lecturer sounded very mono-tone and those stuff that he was teaching seemed quite peanuts to me and my friends since it was just the basics of JC maths.

Took 2 hours off my evening for a jog and this time, I tried a new jogging path. To be more specific, I added another route to my usual one. I ran down from TPY to Macritchie and took a rest at the bus-stop for about 15 mins and continued to Catholic High. At the starting 2km,my legs were like struggling to keep up with my normal pace and I had no choice but to slow down. Loads of inclines and very challenging on the thighs. However, theres this turning point man. After my 15 mins break, I continued with my run and somehow, I could run faster despite the slopes and also at a faster pace. Didnt feel that tired anymore and could continue for a longer distance. Wah if this practise can really push my stamina to greater heights I dun mind running everyday.

Really Really need a pair of ASICS NOW!

Sunday, October 28, 2007

OHH, cant wait for Jay Chou's new album to be out. I hope its gonna be as nice as all the last few albums!

Went swimming today and the weather was good. Hot and sunny, just perfect for a swim. Swam about 20 laps before gg to eat the duck noodles at central.Wah the duck noodles there is simply fantastic, just love eating at tt stall.

Realised that there are so many doughnut shops popping up all over Singapore. First theres the Doughnut factory which has everyone queueing crazily over them. Then I dunno who comes next but yah,its sort of like the situation few years back when they were selling the then crazy bubble tea. So just let them fight it out for a larger piece of the consumer market and then, when prices start to lower, the consumers will benefit!! =)

Shucks, didnt practise my keyboard for a long time. Quite good with the right hand chords but super duper terrible with my left hand one. Perhaps its due to lack of practise or what but somehow my mind just cant "process" the left and right hand chords at the same time so in the end my hand ends up pressing all the wrong keys. Argh.

Whoo, and Im starting to have a grasp over my Computer programming skills. The commands are like flowing naturally in my mind and Im getting lesser errors when running the scripts. Lets just hope this lasts. =)

All the best to those taking their As chinese and also those having their OP coming up. JIAYOU! =)

Whooo, tiring day.

Just came back from a game of soccer with Marcus and his caregrp ppl.Wah Marcus's soccer is PRO! He dribbles the ball very well and his stepovers are nice man. ME? Yeah just crap. Though I was quite happy that I scored 2 goals, at the same time Im disappointed that my soccer skills were super yucky and in the 2nd game my performance was downright lousy. =( Ahhh well, I think the thing would be to play more yeah. =)

Yeah tmr's Fri, which means SAT is approaching. Whoohoo.. Time for a SHORT break. Wah everyone's like having hols now. Hmmmmm... I just can't wait for mine to come during the last 2 weeks of the year.

As I took the bus back home today, looked past ZHSS and really missed the sch. Esp. when you're so tired at night and then the bus is so quiet and the sch is so dimly lit and duh duh duh..So reminds me of those Fri NP trainings that ended late at night and we all would just happily walk out of the sch gate and go crazy on route to the bus-stop.

Oh my knee-cap is aching now and my shin feels as though its got a hairline crack on it (*hehe, soccer medical term).

Time to ZzZzZzZzZzZz..Bye guys.

Its been 3 years already. So much thoughts and feelings in these 3 years. No matter how, it taught me something called Faith and Belief.Even if it means waiting there for You to no avail. Even if all were to just turn into dust, I will certainly never regret possessing this feeling. =)

Monday, October 22, 2007

Ahhhh finally some time to blog.

Sch's quite fine now. At last, got my timetable SETTLED once and for all. Actually the Ang-Moh lecturer from the Dip.Plus prog was quite nice to schedule me in and out for the lectures and tutorials since there's a clash in my time-table. Felt so bad to trouble him with all the e-mails of notification regarding my next free time slot. Ok, never had a Ang-Moh for a lecturer before but this one here's quite ok and to be honest, though theres a bit of slang in his talking (well I mean which Ang-Moh doesn't??),he explains the theories quite clearly and evidently,he's proficient in his knowledge of maths. Noted that there's a slight difference in the teaching styles between Singapore teachers and my Ang-Moh lecturer. Singapore teachers in maths prefer to go through examples and how to go about solving the question, and gradually the students go by a system of going through the examples and using the example's solving methods to finish up their questions. On the other hand, this Ang-Moh lecturer here applies the theoretical method by making the student understand the whole "topic's" structure, goes about proofing the equations and then doing exercises. IMO, I find that this method is much more useful. To put it in an analogy, Singaporean teachers are like telling you how the past leaders did this problem in this way and so you're suppossed to do it somewhat like this and blah blah blah. However, that Caucasian guy's approach would be to analyse the whole situation, do basic definitions before diving into the solutions.Aiyah all in all,his method ROCKS! Too bad he's from New York, not London, otherwise I would've asked him if he was a fellow Manutd supporter. Hehe.

Recently got a new pair of Sennheiser earphones! Lost the cover of my Samsung one and the absence of that minor part alr makes the whole thing unable to be used. Oh well, the bass of the Sennheiser one is not bad and the whole 3D sound in the system sounds quite good, esp.when listening to F.I.R's rock music. Wah I tell you man, never wanted to drop it after listening to all the rock and bass F.I.R songs.COOL!

Can someone move the hour hand of the clock faster so that we get closer and closer to Christmas? Thanks.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Ok, finally after a long and reluctant wait school has finally started for 2nd semester.

To begin with, timetable clash.Had to move to the various departments and print out loads of "evidence" for the admin person to show that I actually had a timetable clash and to amend it asap. What a nice way to start school.

Then, the troublesome process of purchasing books. Well, only 1 troublesome thing, which is to wait in the super long queue. To put it simply, Im not that patient enough to stand in queues for a long time because its just a waste of time. Oh well, God blessed me today by providing me with NO QUEUE when the lecturer told us to try our luck downstairs and see if we can purchase any textbooks. Whew, another problem solved.

Looked at my timetable and so many many "foreign-to-me" modules included inside. Mostly all electronics stuff and programming. In addition to all these, theres an advanced engineering mathematics course that I've to take for 3 years which I was eligible for. And certainly, with the note that its been "revised" by NUS, I doubt its going to be easy. Oh and the tests are set by NUS too so what do you think man. ARGH.

Did some computer programming today and all of a sudden it set me thinking again if I'd chosen the wrong education path for this stage of my life. Haiz, regretted not putting a JC man, esp. such a fun JC like CJC. But now, I'd just have to bear with all these and pull through. I hope that once I get into uni everything will be much better. Oh and I hope I dont have to carry a laptop and go to the aircraft's cockpit to do command scripts to the equipment there. I would just open the cockpit window and jump down suan4 le4 ba1. =P

1 year ago during this period of time it was my graduation ceremony and now,its that of the batch after mine. I still remember how they would talk to me when I told them how much I'd missed school and now,its like my turn to do so. How puzzling it is to see humans falling into the situation they gave others advice on.Well, its all part and parcel of life.

And to sum up my hols experience. Though tiring,I've learnt alot at macs, as in how to do basic household chores and to learn customer service. That I think would have fulfilled the main purpose mum set when she sent me there to work. Fortunately no hols job for this coming December hols cos Im spending like 10 days in Shanghai?! YESH!

Lovers of Chinese music out there, you've gotta listen to F.I.R's latest album and in particular, this song called Yue4 Ya2 Wan1. Its fabulous and I love the mix of instruments they place into the song. 30 repetitions of that song would be considered quite normal. =)

GOAL!

Monday, October 08, 2007

Ahhh.. countdown to the number of days to sch re-open. Seriously so looking forward to the end of year trip to Shanghai because I guess I can like splurge on all those cheap MP3s,dvds and probably a PSP. Mum was alright with the idea of splurging there simply because its worth to buy such electronic goods at cheap prices there.

My opinion has not changed and that there are many snobbish Singaporeans among the population. I mean, even though most Singaporeans have found good paying jobs, or rather, not bad paying ones, there is certainly no need to look down on those who are of a lower class. What the heck is wrong with working at mac? If Bill Gates wore a mac uniform would you still shout and rant at him for not bringing your fries on time. As much as we would love to pride ourselves on being in a better position than others, please do remember in your hearts that we cannot afford to be arrogant. Going by an example, if there were no so called banglas clearing yr rubbish, would you love to sleep with the cockroaches and lizards? No one clearing the trays at the hawker centre, would you be spending 20 mins clearing everything before settling down to eat? If you were greeted with an empty fast food restaurant then dont you think that the name has to be changed to a NO-FOOD restaurant.See people, the more you look down on others, when others think that they're useless and stupid, they would be reluctant to work and lets see then who will serve you "kings and queens" . Case studies has shown that its important to have manpower, theres never a successful 1 man show. If all the shipyard workers protest, who will deliver your cargo? Sometimes we have to acknowledge the fact that everyone's good in a career aspect, be it handling human resources or cleaning the trays. No one knows everything, everyone only knows something. Well Im saying all these because a customer pissed me off until the point where I had almost wanted to shout the hokkien vulgarities at her. Im not very confident of my service attitude but having compliments from some customers do put me in a very good spotlight,so I dont understand what the heck did that b*tch had to pick on.

The cycles goes on, and on and on..

Another 1 week more to the re-opening of sch, which is SIAN.Haiz.

So many ppl finished their promos alr and are claiming their rights to freedom now. Lol. Ok, when they're free, its my turn to study alr. Well, not unfair actually since I was having fun while they were mugging. Hmmmm...

Went out on Weds morning for a swim, jog and a game of basketball and soccer since its my off-day. In the night, wah shiok man. Outing with Xiao-Han after his sch. Suppossed to meet him at Orchard at 6 then since he was a little late so walked around the Popular there. Went into this shop there called Harris and there was like a 20% off the books! Oh oh oh, and there were $8 offers. So bought a John Grisham's book since I heard someone mention before that it was nice. Yet to read it. Xiao-han came and we walked the whole of orchard to find a suitable restaurant until we walked till marina square. I dun even believe we made it tt far. Like about 1 hr of walking non stop, in addition to my full day of sporting activities. Whoo. Ate Kenny Roger's there and later on, more walking to the One Fullerton and we sat by the river-side. Guess what. Xiao-han said that he was itching for some alcohol and so we went to a open-concept river-side bar. Took a look at the menu and GUESS WHAT, the drinks there were named "blow-job","broke-back mountain",slippery ni**le","hot mama","exotic" and loads of cannot be named kinda names. Lol. And we were like laughing so madly over it. So in the end we called a Singapore Sling and a Brokeback mountain. Tasted not bad but alcohol content was about 40% since there was vodka present. Xiao-han said that he was going to get a "blow-job" next time, well not literally. ROFL. And if you ask how did we get in there with our age, well, both of us just said "yeah we are, that's for sure" when the lady asked us if we were 18 and if made us less doubtful when Xiao-Han paid by card. Im seriously going back there again to get the Singapore Sling cocktail cos it tastes fantastic. The pricing is nice too, $15 a cup, or rather, a small shot which practically means about 250 ml of a drink.

As usual, during the Champions league matches at 2-3am,I fell asleep instead of waking up to catch the matches. But it was nice goals and yeah certainly surprising results for some teams. But who cares, as long as Manutd pave their way in, nothing else matters as much. Bleah.

Oh and I read that Sony's gonna cut down their PS3 prices!! Which means, time for 1. But its going to be around Christmas when they do the slash and by then I would alr be in Shanghai and thus, miss out on all the discounts. Never mind, I doubt the pricing would jump back up again. At most buy during the Chinese New Year season lorh. =)

London

Monday, October 01, 2007

Ok, the hols are going to end soon in a flash though I still have 2 weeks of it left.Hmmmm... its kinda reluctant to go back to sch. Oh well it happens every hols esp. the longer duration ones.

Spent quite a lot these few days. Bought a FBT shorts, new Nike series soccer ball, official England away jersey and a casio watch. In total, its just a bomb man but I've never had so much retail therapy before. Ahhhh. at least the $ spent was on quite some worthy stuff and they were on huge discounts too.

Champions league football coming up and the best thing about it falling during the hols is that you can stay up late to catch all the top-class actions from the best teams in Europe!! Yeah, sort of like a David VS Goliath kinda situation in most matches. And this weds its MANUTD VS roma.Hope its a thrashing kinda win and not the close shave 1-0 type of victory.

Saw kennedy on my usual jog the other day outside the RI bus-stop. Had a kind of premonition that I would see him but it wasn't strong. Actually, I was just wondering how kennedy could get top 10 for RJ's cross country since I jogged past the school and then, yeah there he was sitting at the bus-stop with his huge blue water bottle. We gave each other a 10 second stare before letting out an "eh why you here?" Lol. And kennedy was super hardworking because not many people were left in the school and at the bus-stop but he had stayed back to ask the teacher some qns before the promos. Oh yeah and he stood by his "theory" of "its important to consume lots of water daily". Haha. And the only thing that makes him recognisable is his hairstyle that has never changed over 5 years.

Jiayous to those who are hanging on to have the final victory over the promos Hang in there!

PS: Denise, you dun need any luck, give it to those who needs it more than you do, they'll be thankful for that. LOL.

Sunday, September 23, 2007

Ok, I know its been sucha long time since I'd ever blog. Almost close to 2 weeks I guess. Yeah, so this shows my life is as busy as those mugging for the promos man. lol.

Went back to sch this week from tues to thurs to take a group of sec sch students through a maths test and some fun activities in my sch's maths carnival. Took Mayflower,St Margarets,Fajar and North Vista from the first day to the fourth day respectively. Of the 4 schs, obviously the one tt left the best impression with my was St MARGARETS.The girls were super active and chatty like throughout the whole session and their maths were so much better as compared to the other 3 schs. Well, not that I look down on the others but yeah, the girls were so much more prepared to do their calculations. I mean, staring at 9 to the power of half for 10 mins isn't good right. lol. Ok and St Mags, I would call them, won the most amount of soft toys. To be more precise, the girls from my group. Constantly running up to the stage to answer questions and grapping those Eeyores and dogs and frogs and what not from the emcee. Ok,but the thing with these girls is that toilet time is super duper long. I really wonder what do they do in the toilet man. Oh and not surprisingly, they won the second runner-up and winner of the E-maths cat. Well done man. Both from my group. Haha, as smart as me. LOL. On the overall its been a nice event with great students, wonderful lecturers and fellow student helpers, nice facilities and great food, not forgetting the CHOCO FONDUE! Oh man cant believe Ngee Ann has a choco fondue.

So I guess I will spend the rest of my 3 weeks hols serving Singaporeans, of which I guess most are nice people and some are really so called "ugly-Singaporeans". I dont wish to reveal ugly encounters here but they really remind me of the fact that we are a not so perfect society in terms of character even though we have achieved marvellous standards in everything we do.

Tonight, Manutd will thrash Chelsea, WE WILL!

Best of luck to those taking their promos in a week's time. All the best to you guys. Jiayou! =)

My night Flight..

Wednesday, September 12, 2007

Ok, is my internet connection DC-ing all the time or what? Or has the quake tt hit Indo 10 minutes ago displaced some internet cables undersea? Well, perhaps CNA's website is experiencing a whole influx of netizens grabbing the latest news. I feel v "ke lian" for those Indo ppl.All these quakes and volcanoes and natural disasters all hitting them one by one and its like yar lar, why them? They've suffered alot in these years owing to such "tian zai". But its really courageous to see them recover one disaster after another, and remaining quite indifferent if another one comes their way cos they've seen almost "everything". Kudos to them.

Knew of the quake cos grandma called and said she felt kinda giddy or smth and the raindrops on her ledge were like "moving around"? 2 quakes somemore man and its a 7.9 each. Imagine if its converted into electrical energy or smth. In tt case I guess we can like switch on the aircon everyday and not care abt the electricity bills alr.

Ok time to switch to some other topics. Got my new Hugo Boss "Boss in motion" Orange series fragrance!! I still prefer brands like Hugo Boss,Polo Ralph Lauren and Burberry. Their fragrances are....*take a deep breath*....ok it just cant be said out in words.Lol. And it was for a very very good discounted price, like about 50% off? Yeah, thks to XiaoHan who introduced the shop to me.

Ate like 1 Big breakfast, 2 Hashbrowns and 1 Bagel in Mac for breakfast? Yeah,nv ate so much before. Plus 2 cups of tea. Lol. Then proceeded to City Hall with mum to buy lamp chops (YAYY LOVE THEM) for this Sat bbq at my aunt's house. On e way we decided to go to Raffles city to look at the Donut Factory shop but they weren't open yet at tt time. So since we were going to Carrefour might as well patronise the one at Suntec. So took shuttle bus there and once we got off the bus chiong-ed to the Donut Factory shop which had a queue of abt 10 plus ppl mainly consisting of working adults. I took just like 10 mins to queue?!?! Haha, its like so so so so much faster than those ppl who spent 2 hs on weekends queueing and some didnt even get to smell it. Bought 2 dozens of them with an assortment of every kind. Pushed the cart into Carrefour and while looking for those lamp chops I took a bite at the orange white choco flavoured one. FANTASTIC! Doughnut base was soft and fluffy. Orange taste lingers in yr mouth for quite long and in just 2 mouthfuls I gobbled it down.=) After the grocery shopping at Carrefour we felt tt it wasn't enough to have 2 dozen so QUEUED AGAIN to buy another 2 dozen. This time queue was longer and took abt 15-20 mins. Total spent abt $50 on 4 dozens of doughnuts and I simply cant imagine myself doing tt even in my dreams. Walked along Cityhall mrt and I was like the envy of so many young ppl cos I was holding 4 dozen of doughnuts and heard some of them say they queued quite a number of times but still didnt get to buy them on a few occasions. Oh well, its going to be a doughnuts day tmr!! =)

Ok,tmr's gonna be sch reopening for many many ppl out there but lucky not for me. Suddenly back to this hols mood.So life shall continue as normal to me which means back to work again!

So lets recap what happened on fri and the weekends tt just passed by.

Played tennis with Jan at Kampong Glam CC on Fri. Er gu's (2nd aunt) treat! Haha. Jan's first few times playing tennis and he had some killer serves which caught me totally off guard. Lol. But he expressed some disappointment over some shots he made which were off wide. All in all we had a good game and at the end, we walked all e way to Bugis Junction cos there's was no straight bus for both of us. It was a super long walk man. Strolled past Baghdad street and quite a number of middle-eastern themed shops there which I didnt realise till then.

Sat was my first keyboard lesson!! While moving up the escalator saw Chin Lui with his mum and sis. Well since he was quite behind me so didnt bother taking those steps down to talk. Who knew, in the end we both ended up in the same section of the Yamaha drums shop though he got off at the 3rd level earlier on! Yeah and he told me how he got kicked out of his drums course cos he pon-ned it too many times till the teacher had to phone his mum up. Lol. The lesson was quite ok and the teacher was super funky and cool. Always trying to crack up some stuff here and there. However, Im sad to say Im like some music idiot who always has to take 1 second more than the others to figure out the music notes on the sheet. =( Ok, Im practising more this hols. First lesson played Ode To Joy and only like 6 bars of it? Well, at least to me its a small little minute achievement cos Im like a music @#$%@#@#.

Sun, yeah the day I hated most! MY MOBILE AND $10 CASH WAS STOLEN!!!!! DAMN THAT FELLOW WHO STOLE IT! I shall not plunge into the details lest I get fed-up over it once again. Its partially my fault for not giving my phone and wallet to the manager but that idiotic person didnt have to open my bag and steal it?! Fortunately he didnt steal my MP3 which is like 3 times more expensive than my phone? Yeah, you can call that person a stupid thief if you want. He really is.

YESH!!!! Mum finally enrolled me into the keyboard class at YAAAAA-MAAAAAA-HAAAAAAA..Lol. And its starting this sat! HAH,its like....its like...ok. its like smth of mine came true. Actually the place was reserved by someone BUT, let me say it again with a big fat BUT, tt guy didnt PAY UP. So, after the so called "grace period" and my constant pestering of the staff there, they FINALLY relented and gave me tt space cos tt guy didnt pay up. SEE, sometimes, well only SOMETIMES, $ does play a big role. =) *a super big fat grin.

Went out with XiaoHan on Tues after God knows how long. Met up at Wisma Atrium. Ok, I've gotta admit our meeting location was a little "special". It was in the toilet! I went in there and just as I was abt to go out to the entrance and wait, that so called "big friendly giant" came out of the cubicle. Lol. Ok, then we both talked and talked and there was so much talking that we walked around 90% of the malls in orchard without even stopping. Watched Rush Hour 3 and XiaoHan laughed like mad inside. Ok, he's still his usual self, just like how he was 5 years back. I vividly remember him for bring the "Today" and "Streats" newspaper to class. And it wasn't just 1 copy, it was a whole ton of it. He had brought it all e way from CCK? Yar, and it was ltr on used by the guys to wrap around and play soccer. Haha. Oh and there was mention that kennedy was one of the TOP 10 runners at RJ's cross country and its really an amazing feat which cannot be duplicated 5 years back. I still recall having to volunteer "my services" whenever kennedy failed to catch anyone from a game of vampire and the bell was gonna ring anytime soon. Now, I guess instead of "rendering our servies", we might as well surrender man. Top 10 in RJ's cross country is what I suppose only super duper pro runners can achieve. And kennedy did that?!?!?! Ok, well done ken, you've finally shed away your "zero shaped" figure. =)

Today's NOT TEACHER'S DAY!! Everyone's like starting their posts with "today's teacher's day......." Its tmr. =)

Anyway, enough of being precise about such minor matters. Went back to zhss today at around 12.Bus took quite long to come.Missed taking 105 to sch. Didnt see many ppl in there, probably because its too early or Im late. Walked past the canteen to the bball court. Met some of those old soccer "mates" who always play the game with me after sch last year. Moved on to the old 4e4 classroom and ppl were alr taking photos there alr! So ran there.Lol. Took a few class photos, not exactly everyone was there, only 4 guys including myself?! Yar, took photos with Mrs Ngiam. Had a short chat with Jerrold, Samantha, Hui Ming, Wing Him and a few other ppl. Saw others like Lee Chee, Mic (Haha Mic I kw you didnt see me cos you were too busy talking to teachers),Mich Sab, GARY PHUA!!(Nv changed =P),Daryl and yar, could see many people from a glance too. Mu-qin, Mich Ow, and Mabel were so nice man, they called me when they saw me walking into the sch. Mostly likely they remember me for my crap bah. Lol.

Took a bus to PCPS and yar, sch didnt change much except for the shift of staff in and out of the sch. Walked quite a while before I could find Den,Cheryl,Benard,Guo Zhong and Yan Chao. And we talked to Feng2 Lao Shi who couldn't recognise me because she had not seen me in a long time (then what abt the part where I greeted her at the bus-stop like 3 weeks ago?).Ok, maybe she's getting old. Took a short chat with her and nth about her changed. Cant describe it but she still feels the same. Well, she's a v v good chi teacher. To be exact, she changed my chinese standards drastically after she took charge of out class in pri 5. Laid a good foundation for my chinese and since her lessons onwards I didnt hv to source for a chi tuition teacher even up to now. And my chinese didnt drop a single bit. Really gotta thank her. So glad tt she's teaching my pri 6 cousin now too. Im sure he'll do well under her guidance. Met other teachers too like Mrs Peh and Mrs Reyes. Still, they didnt change too. Kennedy came ltr on and he too didnt recognise me. Bleah. lol. Well, if not for his trademark face, I couldn't hv recognised him. Han Wei was right, Kennedy did change alot. Muscular now man. Well, canoeing team mah. Kang Yan was towering too. Carried on our chat with Feng2 Lao Shi for quite a while before moving out of the sch.Couldn't hv lunch with them cos had smth on in the night. ARGH. Went home and saw my bro and his friends kicking some soccer at the void deck so joined them for a game.

Night was spent watching Balestier Khalsa VS Sengkang Punggol which is totally boring match and I felt like sleeping throughout the whole thing. The number of empty seats around during the first half would serve as a silent testimony to how "popular" the match was. Total waste of my time. I was more interested in how the ball was kicked over the super high netting and despite having a inclined shelter on the other side, the ball sorta went against gravity and fell off it. More interested in who in the swimming pool got hit by the ball after it rolled off the shelter. See,tt's how boring the match is.

Really miss those pri and sec sch days. ALOT!
Pri sch, memories of making fun of people's names and getting chased around the sch plus the neighbourhood outside.
Playing vampire and Kennedy complaining of why he was always the chosen one to start the game off.
Playing at Leslie's house.
Poking Kennedy's chest.
Rushing to buy bubble tea with Leslie before Athletics training started. Buying ice-pop and twisties after sch. Treating a whole mass of people to ice-pop.
Running to the macs in the rain.
Yunting knocking into the lampost after trying to chase Kennedy blindly when Kennedy called him "ah butt"(Ok this incident is a CLASSIC!!!).
Rushing off art hmwk before the super fierce art teacher comes in.
Bringing the soccer ball to sch and playing with Edmund and co.
Buying loads of gatorade water bottles and end up just wanna hv some fun spraying one another by action of hydraulics on the gatorade bottles.
Playing Red Alert 2.
Playing crocodile.
Seeing Yunting copy $#%!#%#$#% pages from the PSLE chinese book as punishment for not bringing it.
Going to the comp. lab to use Google to search for pictures on ice-cream?? Many many more things man.
Those days were the most joyous moments of my life. 5b,6b.ROCKS!!

Secondary sch. Whoa lower sec is just a joke.
Home econs lessons using the whole bottle of mama lemon!!! Helping YJ tie a dead knot for his apron which he apparently wore on his head?? (Yeah, it became a bandana in the end cos of e dead knot)
Playing wwe cards during ELDDS lessons.
Playing soccer on "freaky" fridays for fear tt wei ming will scold us because of stupid mistakes. Lester's infamous hand ball incident.
Yellow jokes and almost getting into trouble , not forgetting yellow songs.
Mui Teng's 5566 hand signal.
Hong Xun's key-maker incident.
Moses and his notorious rat movements, not forgetting his dad chasing after yj's dad lorry to pass him a burger?! lol.
Chao2 lao shi and his super "well" decorated wwe chinese new year card uniquely done by us. Mr chua wee peng and his frequent but stealthy "zaps" on our abdomen area during science lessons.
Using the hack saw and g-clamp to do some funny stuff during d&t periods.
Daryl and his 1 day gf.
PS-ing yizhi during the sec 1 orientation cos me and wei ming were just too fast for him at tt moment, making him the sacrifice of our group. rofl.
Literary evening and those stupid incidents before and after tt.
Mooncake festival and walking around the sch like a stupid fool carrying lanterns.
Moses and Kenneth heng fighting for the first time because of table and chair arrangement matters.
Knocking down the fire extinguisher outside the classroom because someone had a shock, moved backwards and "pham"it dropped.
The 40 cents Yeo's soyamilk vending machine.
Miss Long pulling the ears of the guys for no reason at all.
NPCC ATC camps.
Knowing what it means when the officers tell us to move behind the art room.
Changing parades.
PDS drill trainings.
Cheuk Yiu getting stunned and froze for 5 seconds when Jun Liang gave a super fast and powerful shot past him.
All the annual camps, night walks in the drains, crawling under the table in the ex-2e1 classroom with officers banging the top of it.
Walking 17km to East-Coast just to slp when we were suppossed to watch the sunrise. Our group slacking with Mam Jenny at the traffic lights and her instruction for us to wait for the next traffic light cos she cant take it anymore and wanna rest her eyes?! lol.
All the troubles Meng Yang got my group into at the annual camp, which includes eating maggi mee and chicken rice for dinner.
Doing the muah chee at the sand pit.
PT and RT sessions. Drill sessions and shouting the commands. Getting tricked by the officers who cannot take it but let out a laugh when they see our stupid actions.
Having our rifles and uniforms stolen in the midst of the night during NCO camp. Having powder baths and super long abs-training laughing sessions with Cheuk Yiu, Jun Liang and Zhen Kai. Having all the skids and cheers at campfires.
Being constantly called a mushroom cos my beret was not seasoned.
Carrying home all those left-over canned food and packets of maggi mee after annual camp. Trying not to do "toilet business" for the whole of the camp and seeing whose the ultimate champion of all. rofl.
Doing fire drills at night and shaking the heck out of those who are really fast asleep. 1e3,2e3,3e4,4e4,NPCC.FANTASTIC

All these do being back lots of memories and its really the thing tt cheers you up everytime you think of it. Theres actually much more I can list. Although it may seem a little too "adventurous" to some guai kias out there but hey, when you think of it years down the road, it will really bring some warmth to you. Theres nv such a chance in the working world anymore. Its only when we are young and energetic will there be such nice bonding sessions ORGANISED JUST FOR US. Have a super great desire to re-experience those unforgettable memories again, but nope, never gonna happen. =( So lets do what our youth allows us to do now and when we get older, its great to look back upon the early parts of our life.

Its the longest post I've ever posted, but the one that notes down most of the memories.

You guys are GREAT!!

6 more mins to Fri and yup, its gonna be a crowded day at sec schs all over Singapore tmr. Needless to explain I suppose.

Watched some of Jay Chou's MVs and realised tt he always is the gangster in the MVs. And in the end, became some kinda guai kia but his gangster-ism during his younger days in the MV made him lose the girl of his dreams or smth similar in tt extent. LOL. Gangster Jay. ROFL!

你说把爱渐渐放下会走更远,或许命运的签只让我们遇见。

To be exact, 6 weeks more to the end of hols. Still quite a long way. 3 days now seems to me like a week. Time really passes tt long. During schooling days, time nv passed so slowly before. I guess we're all too busy in the world of our own to really bother abt how fast times passes by, or rather, in my case now, how slow its moving.

Slumped back to my usual holiday mode of watching channel 55 dramas. Didnt hv time for those on normal sch days, now, its time to just enjoy the 45 mins of laughter and mystery they bring.

Now, Im stuck on this HUGE question mark in my head. Keyboard, or Piano?Looks like Im still not ready to accept the keyboard yet. The piano's getting me off my track. Ok,Im talking nonsense here. XP

Realised tt I've not been doing my daily jogs for abt a week! Wah, got a shock when I backtracked to my last jogging session. Well, what to do, keeps raining these days. =(

Fri's the day man! =)

只让我们相恋,这一季的秋天,飘落后才发现这幸福的碎片,要我怎么捡。
Seriously, I wanna watch Secret again. But this time, to look at the movie keeping the ending in mind. Argh, you'll kw what I mean when you ppl go watch it. Its nice!!

在西界的那一边,只能有半个白天。暗自祈祷上天的垂怜。

Wahaha, CSS2 campion is out. Yeah, the Shawn tt everyone is talking about. The 13 year old kid who defeated all the other "Da ge ge and Da jie jie" to walk away with the trophy and $2000. Yeah, why bother, just a blown up case of idolising.I guess this is what they call "audience interaction" but to me it sounds like "send more sms-es and call more". Well, if this was a good method to get people to choose their so called superstars, then why didnt they use it in the upcoming Star search 2007? Instead, its 100% judges decision kinda thing. Well, its obvious isn't it. Need not hv to spell out more. Seriously, I think that judges should hv more impact in the scoring system. 30% is just too little. So what if you were to score a few more marks than the other contestants? A few more sms-es or calls rooting for him would make up the difference. Ok, its just a case of sour grapes because Marcus wasn't the one on stage with the trophy.XP .But still, congrats to Keely because she sings well at times. =)

Enquired about the keyboard lessons and yesh; in a week's time I would be ready to kickstart it. =D

Still cant get over the incident the other day at the temple where there's this HUGE display of ugly Singaporeans. Undoubtedly, Singaporeans still have a long long way to go in putting aside their pride and staying humble, and that includes me as well too. Imagine getting stuck in a traffic jam in a one way lane that is even more cramp than the one outside ZHSS. And there you have uncles who do not want to maximise capacity by moving closer to the front vehicle to allow others at the back to drive off from the same cramp lane. Also, the one bloody idiotic uncle (sorry man but he deserves my usage of the word idiot), who thinks his bloody toyota camry is a big showoff (like how many ppl in singapore owns BMWs too), wanted to make a U-TURN in a one way lane that is filled up to its "brim" with vehicles from BOTH SIDES!!!!! Pure Idiot. At one side was my dad trying to direct the traffic to ensure that cars from both sides can move and so that our car can get out of tt mess too, there came this stupid ass who wants to make a U-TURN?? If it was not for my "high endurance level", I would hv rushed out of the car, requested him to roll down the driver's window, and point my ****** finger at him. Brainless prideful *****

Ok, I gotta go COOL DOWN man.

在长夜的边缘,给我一丝光线。让你,能多看我一眼。

SO TIRED TODAY!!!! Walked and walked and walked around Chinatown today for a whole day in the end to end up making a fruitless trip down. Shall not say what did I do there. Long story. ARGH!

The Rat-a-too-ee movie is coming out soon!!! COOL!! Gotta go watch it. The rat is simply so cute. Scampering around in the kitchen and who could hv imagined a rat can cook!Well, the PIXAR company ppl imagined it. =)

Cant seem to understand why ppl dun like He Yao Shan. Im not her fan or smth but I just generally like some of her songs. Like this one called "Zhuo Ni De Gong Zhu".Rocks lar. Nice tune to it.

So proud of You!

Watched Jay Chou's new movie SECRET just now and yar, its super duper NICE.Well Im not gonna reveal the contents here because its a SECRET man! LOL. Go see ppl.Its really nice. Well, maybe to serious movie-goers it may sound a little corny or rather, lame to them. But just flow with the storyline line and you'll feel for the flim. Not exactly moving people to tears, as what some people say, but its quite touching too. Lots of piano playing and the tunes are simply v v nice! And I've learnt 1 thing from this. NEVER EVER doubt Jay Chou's piano playing talent. To put it across in a simple way, FANTASTIC! Background scenes were also quite well decorated to suit that kinda image of old classrooms and the super old piano is v nice and has that kinda classical touch to it. Just go see it man. Oh, and I guessed as much, that Jay Chou would put the movie's theme song right at the back when all the credits are being released. ARGH. I was hoping that he would play that song in the movie, but since it required some guitar and drums in it, I knew very well it would be played right at the end. Nice movie overall,I'd give it an 8.5/10. =)

YAY!! Finished exams alr.Whoo! 8 weeks of break including this week. HAHA. I think I did ok for the 3 papers, though I made quite a number of careless mistakes here and there despite checking and knowing this fact simply makes me feel like knocking my head into the wall. =)

OHHHH, I can hear the keyboard calling me.........But, Im quite sure the 8 weeks would be filled with some working, cos I think working is the best and most practical way to past time man. Now I kw y poly people lag their JC counterparts by a year. Well, its due to the hols! The duration of the hols for the Jc ppl, we double it. So, double here, double here, double until lag people by 1 more year. LOL

Wang Li Hong's new song "Wo Men De Ge" is NICE!!!! Love the chorus man.

情人总分分合合,可是我们却越爱越深。认识你,使我的幸福如此悦耳。能不能不要记得,继续唱我们的歌。让感动一辈子都记得。

Ok, finished 1 of the 3 examinable subjects today. Woo, except for the last 2 super tough qns, finished all the qns. So so tired after the paper. Prob. because its in the afternoon. Also, in such a cool and quiet environment. So another 2 more papers to go. I can imagine myself on the day when it ends man. =D

Argh, Manutd just drew AGAIN!! Other clubs are alr going for their 3rd win and MANUTD ARE ONLY HAVING 2 POINTS AT THIS POINT OF TIME?? Cant believe it man. What a "great" start to this all new season, all the hype about those super-star,"ronaldo" like players. Whoo, guess the bubble just became too big and burst. 1 thing I'd admire about Chelsea, they really are stong as a team, train hard and yar, obedient. They listen well to their manager and pay him loads of respect in whatever he says and does. Despite having a whole team of superstars, they play really well. ARGH,WHY CANT MANUTD BE LIKE THEM!!! A UNITED team is MUCH better than a team of selfish individual talents.

Ok, putting all these "stress inducing" topics aside, heres some super cold jokes.
1) Teacher:History is interesting, why dont you want to study it?
Student:But teacher, I just dont like the idea of studying it.
Teacher:Why?
Student:Well, there's no future in it!
Teacher:*FAINTS* (Ok I added this in myself.LOL)

2)Girl:Do you love me?
Guy:Yes Dear.
Girl:Would you die for me?
Guy:Mine is undying love.
(That's a tacky one! =D)

3)Teacher:John, can I ask you how old is your father?
John:As old as me.
Teacher:*Surprised*How can it be?
John:He only started becoming a father when I was born.

4) A boy came home with his results.
Father:How did you do son?
Boy:My marks can make you drown, so dont bother seeing Dad.
Father:What do you mean by it? I wanna see it.
Boy:They are all below "C" level (SEA LEVEL LOL)

5) Father:Why did you fail your maths test?
Son:On monday teacher said 3+5=8
Father:SO?
Son:On Tuesday, she said 4+4=8.Wednesday, she said 6+2=8.So if she cant make up her mind, how do I know the right answer?

Ok, all these 5 above are just SUPER LAME LAR!!

In Your Wonderland..

不要埋怨自己不及别人。
世界上不及别人的人甚多。
不要夸耀自己胜过别人。
世上胜过自己的人甚多。

This chinese quotation here is what I found from this super old chinese book that I've found in my book shelf.

Also, I read off a small little equation in this book from Kinokuniya.
As quoted, for the same amount of work done, "Intensity of focus X Time spent=work done"
It means that some people take longer to do stuff b'cos their intensity of focus is not great enough while others use lesser time because they concentrate more on their task at hand.

Ah, kudos to those people who listen to their friend's ranting and naggings about his/her problems but never dare to tell his/her what kind of problems they themselves face. Which means, this is a one way affair and sometimes, they're expected to be there for their friends. Funny ain't it. Remember, no one owns anyone a living!

Tomorrow's the start of the exams. Finished math's revision alr and yup, after practising one more paper tonight, Im ready for the paper. ELTECH's quite prepared too. The only thing that worries me is ENGMEC. Woo,that subject is one troublesome thing I would want to get myself involved in. Argh, gotta study it on Sat then. Im so looking forward to next Tues 4pm, when the examiner says stop writing. =)

因为你,我可以。

Looking at it more really makes my blood BOIL!!How can Marcus be out of the competition.Highest marks and out. But certainly, 1 thing that makes me think that he's really a superstar, is his gracious-ness. Truely, his parents really expressed their heart-felt thanks to those who supported Marcus through this tough journey. Marcus also did something very gentle-manly, which is to congratulate those who made it to the finals and I definitely think that this is very gracious of him to do so. It does reflect well on his up-bringing and his character. How many contestants and their parents go up to the stage to so sincerely thank those who supported their child be it in terms of SMS-ing to support them or going down to the studio to cheer for them. To give a simple analogy, its like being the top student in the class yet unable to clinch the scholarship, which is being awarded to someone else who isn't as good as you in term of academic grades, but has good support from others. However, you still go on to thank those who helped you along the way and to congratulate those who got it. Let me say this, only a slight percentage of people placed in this situation would go on graceful to conduct themselves because most of the time, we would just rant and nag and think about how unfair it is for those who deserve it not to get it. But this time round, Marcus did well and it does reflect well on the school too. Once again, all the best Marcus and yeah, you're truely a superstar. For those who want to see what happened during the last part of the results show, yup,I've posted the video from Youtube here. Oh yeah, before I forget, I think its great to know that Marcus has mastered the song "Wo Ke Yi", the song which he sang in his first round of the competition but could not reach the high pitch at the various sections of the song. So, finally, before he goes out of it, he has truely sung it well and its great once again to listen to him sing my favourite song.He really gave his very best in this last song he's going to sing on the stage. JIAYOU MARCUS!! =)
