Today's alr.....hmm...27th December to be exact. Which means 2 days after Christmas, just over boxing day.

Well, this Christmas is spent mostly in Orchard I'd say. Went to Orchard as mentioned on Christmas Eve cos mum and I agreed that it sucks to stay at home on Christmas Eve. So we went shopping and yeah, same old story, bought stuff again =) This time mum bought stuff too, for CNY, which is coming really really soon! Like another 3 more weeks?

As for Christmas, well, dad's side had party the sat before alr, mum's side gonna meet on 31st for countdown party! Yeah! So basically spent Christmas at Carrefour while my parents went to buy the lamp chop for the 31st party. Bro and I shopped ard and found that the discounts were much better than that of Orchard. Bought some shirts AGAIN and erm went home with 120 dollars worth of lamp chop in the boot =D

During my visit to Borders the last few days, I read 1 book called "The Purpose of Christmas" by Rick Warren. Its a very very inspiring book. It shows how much some of us have diverted away from the true purpose of Christmas, why is it celebrated, the meaning of joy and peace. Of course these seems too harsh a "theory" for anyone to accept in such a practical and chaotic world. It just re-aligns our hearts back to God, our Saviour, who was born in the Human Form on this day to interact with what He has created. So its a day of celebrating, to show our joy and thankful-ness for His presence. To care for others, to live up to what He has been waiting to see us do. I've not read the whole book but Im very very determined to spend that amount to buy that book because I believe in quality reading and to keep those "doors of precious thoughts" on my shelves. Its easy to read, but deep in meaning. All in all, even though I've not read till last page yet, I know what's the main thing to say. God is GREAT! =)

Dear Father Lord, You are the greatest of all. Your son was born on this day and He came down to spread more about You. Lord, You are our Saviour. Abounding in Love, You forgave our sins by sacrificing Your only Son. No words can describe Your greatness. Now for this christmas, I want to thank You and only You for blessing me this year throughout, for seeing me through tough times, to guide me and to help me whenever I need it the most. You have been around me, walking side by side along me, to guide me, to show me the path. Sometimes I may not have seen the light, but I know You will be there to guide me back to the right route, to allow me to grow under your Care. Lord this Christmas its good to know You are here with me and that's sufficient. Its the best that I or anyone can ask for. I thank you Lord. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

I was listening to Gold 90.5 fm and I heard this song called "All at Once" by Whitney Houston. It was just fabulous. Simply sweet, nostalgic, and breath-taking song. You guys gotta go hear it.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

FINALLY!

Yeah, this is the word I've waiting to say for so so so long.

Im done with my IS at long long last. The Wine tasting event got up and running on Sat evening at Mackenzie road. Even though we did not meet the 20 people we were expected to get, it didnt matter much anyway since the lecturer just came and left in a short span of 10 minutes. Perhaps he only wanted to see if we were doing work and whether it was an "empty" event.

Met Marcus at Little India MRT station and we walked up to find the Wine shop itself. Took us quite a while cos it was quite hidden in some corner. Our parents arrived shortly after. Mum and bro couldnt drink and so they left to eat at Little India, leaving Dad to chat with his colleagues. The Wine owner then started his speech on the different kinds of wine, the "levels" of wine, lifespan, and quite surprisingly, table manners. It was interesting and the food was good! Pizza, Ritz biscuits, Blue cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Raw carrots and Celery, Hotdogs, Chicken Wings. Add that to tasting 1 portion of White Wine and 3 glasses of Red Wine. All for 27 dollars. Atmosphere was fantastic, Dimly lit place and nicely done up decorations. The Owner was nice enough to give us more chicken wings at no cost when we requested for more. Praises all over for the chicken wings. Dad and Mum went over to talk with Marcus's parents and had their "praents" talk. Took photos of everyone from the 4 tables and Marcus's mum insisted that I joined them inside the photo. Lol. It was nice to see Dad's colleagues mingling well with the Ngee Ann people even though they have a significant age-gap. All in all, I felt that it was a worthwhile event and everyone throughly enjoyed this short little session together.

And I would like to sincerely thank GOD, our Lord, for pulling me through this obstacle and to show me what He can do for us. Seriously God LISTENS and ANSWERS to our prayers. He gave help when we needed it most desperately. He showed us the way when we were in the midst of the dark. And lastly, He Loves us. For He is the greatest of them all. Praise the Lord!

Rewind to the Thursday before the event. Mum and I went to Orchard to do some Christmas shopping. So after lunch at Delifrance, we went our separate ways to shop. I strolled all the way to Kinokuniya to take a look at the books on offer and to flip through some. An hour later I went to Taka and window-shopped through all the stuff. Nth really much to buy. I have almost everything I need. And my uncle recently gave me some G2000 long sleeve shirts and brand new G2000 pants. So no need for clothes. No need for shoes too since I have a new Timberland pair. And the rest of whatever materialistic needs I used to have were all satisfied or disappeared long ago. =X

Until.......today, when I packed my room. Threw away alot of things and the display cupboards, shelves, drawers looked sparking clean, neat and tidy. But at the same time I realised I could do with more books, a new bottle of perfume, backpack and lots more. All minor stuff but adds up to quite a lot =P Therefore, tomorrow Im going Orchard with mum again to buy stuffs =)

Backtrack again to the night after my event. I went to my aunt's house in Sembawang for a Christmas gathering. There was turkey, nasi lemak?, donuts, kueh lapis, fruit cake, ham, and alot more food! Felt a little tired and asked Dad to go home at abt 9.30. That was when my uncle suggested we all sing Christmas carols. Though feeling a little tired, I still agreed. I did not regret it. It was super duper fun and funny! We sang loads of Christmas songs and my big aunt wanted to dance and sing along to a song. So she danced and sadly, she made a joke of herself. LOL. We were laughing like mad and mum couldnt control her laughter. Oh well, she thought it was normal, we felt that she was a clown. LOL. Later on we had a sharing session, and everyone was to share what we felt about 2008 and how thankful we were in those difficult times we had. So everyone gave their testimonials and it was indeed a good sharing session. Heard abt the tough times my relatives had and how God pulled them through. It was another session to show everyone yet again how great God was. Heart-inspiring sharing. Maybe God didnt want me to go home that fast during that moment. He wanted me to know more about Him, just as I had prayed for the last few days to want to grow with Him. =)

Oh, and Christmas carols keep "circulating" round my head. I dont know why but somehow I keep humming and singing it while moving abt the house. =D

The Lord was here. He still is now. And He will be forever.

Time check: 4.40 am now. Yeah and wondering why am I not asleep? Because of my damn IS project. So out of the 20 people we were suppossed to get, we now have about 12. What makes it disappointing is that I have 2 members in my grp who currently have 0 people and they say it will remain that way. Why? Because their mind tells them that since our whole grp might not hit 20 people and we gonna have to redo it, why work so hard now to get "close to 20" people.

Now now, see, this is a mentality and attitude problem. Sometimes, people get successful for 2 reasons, Luck and attitude. 1 can be controlled, 1 cant. And I guess both of them arent people made for success. The number 1 mistake would be giving up hope when yours truly here is trying v v hard to get people and even to some extent sponsering people some part of the cost for them to come to the event. So if we fail, the number 1 guy whom they disappoint and let down is ME! So I get the people to come, even more than the 4 Im expected to, pay $ for them to come, and I have to redo the whole project?!?! No visible effort seems to be present. I mean dont tell me you cant even get 1 guy to come? Oh man lets evaluate if those around you are called friends. And my mum doesnt drink but she still comes down to support me! So dont give the excuse of "my parents dont drink". Now I know who are the ones destined to succeed and those who will be living average lives unless $ falls from the sky.

Yeah so this is what keeps me damn stressed and thus sleepness at this moment in time, when I guess they are in their "winter wonderland". Lucky for me I dont have people like them in my Year 3 project because I get to choose my OWN group members! Sometimes I just hate working with these dumb and useless people. I only appreciate effort, nothing else. Call me a half-elitist if you like, but Im sure anyone else will blow if in my current position.

So unhappy and dumb people aside, lets talk about my outing ystd.

Fixed my plane like finally and all worked well. Then play pool with jow, joel and mel tan at Mambo. Proceeded to PS to watch Bolt with joel and mel tan. Well Bolt was CUTE for a dog and I was appalled by the animation. The hamster was funny too, with 1 sentence I remembering clearly, "I eat danger for breakfast!!"LOL.

And since I was carrying my plane ystd to the movies, I was afraid I might not make it back so early since I would hv difficulties carrying it into the packed train during peak hours. So I just did a short prayer in my mind and said with a little tinge or urgency "God, come-on I wanna go home but I just cant squeeze into the train because its too crowded so I need a less crowded train ASAP, Amen" And guess what! After this super packed train left the platform, another train came in the matter of seconds. And there were only 4-5 people standing! So basically it was quite an empty train and it remained that way all the way to Toa Payoh. Mum was like "wah empty train at around 6 plus going to 7, somemore at Dhoby Ghaut?" So see, God does listen to our prayers! Thank You Lord,my Saviour!

As for today, mum, bro and I did some spring cleaning of my cupboards and wardrobes. Also, I opened my 3 money containers and there was a total of 1000 bucks! But of course majority goes to banking it in and I only took 250 out. Yeah so a little extra cash to sponser some ppl for my event........

Tried flying my plane at the nearby grass patch at ard 6pm and guess what, the propellor shot out! There was a failed attempt to get it to fly and the whole nose just hit the ground, fortunately not from such a high height. So I had to replace screws, fix the gears and stuff the whole turing shaft into the motor.

Oh and I think Im starting to get a little tired now so better get back to sleep while I can. =)

Finished CTs...like FINALLY!! MPI was totally crap cos I didnt even knew what the qns wanted? And DCNT was a little tougher than expected, as in more tricky than estimated. Oh well, all thanks to some ppl who said that poly standards were easy and therefore the examining board had to "up" the standards.

The days before the CTs were just so mundane. Studying after every eating session, i.e. lunch or dinner. Serious mugging of papers, quizzes, notes, tutorials and even practical labsheets! Sometimes I just have to force myself to sit down and not walk around but....I did it!

Now for days after the CTs. Just tmr I alr have stuff planned out. Going to fix my plane tmr morning with TH, then going pool with joel and mel tan, since its mel tan's 18th birthday. Then we gonna go town to catch a movie and hopefully get "infected" with the christmas atmosphere there. But of course we wont be going crazy. Then for the days after Im gonna exercise alternate days cos NAPFA is knocking on my door soon and perhaps meet up with some of the sec sch ppl. Hmmmm...not forgetting reading assignment and continue to buck up on my current studying progress. Oh and reading too! I just saw this book that was so cool, 50 PHYSICS IDEAS YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW . All the 50 most famous and significant equations were in tt book and a short history of the scientists who made them possible were mentioned.

And of course the most immediate task after the CTs was to play my Red Alert 3! Yeah managed to complete till the second last mission of the Allies and its time to wipe out the Soviet army! Then its Japanese faction next and poof, not it became koko krunch, but poof, all missions over!

ok, time to recharge for tmr! its alr 2.35am on my clock. And guess what, I just received a mail from the LEO club. Oh well, the lions do sleep late though. =P

IS is just damn damn damn damn damn dumb. Actually it isnt to a certain extent. At least I learnt more during writing reports and doing powerpoint presentations. I can say Im quite good with doing a full report and giving v innovative and good presentations. But to organise events SUCKS big time. Esp when yr event is just so expensive and the le*d*r is so bloody dumb as to choose tt event and doesnt wanna inform us about the progress despite the event nearing. As I thgt, smth would crop up and now Im getting dad to help me get more ppl to the event. I think I should just do a mini-coup and usurp throne of the leadership. Im very very sure under me the group would do stuff nice and neat. I mean, Im getting more worried about IS rather than my core modules because its damn dumb to fail a "pass/fail" subject?!?!?!

Im gonna pray very very hard and sincerely to God to bless the group, that we can get 20 people, that we are able to hold the event very very smoothly, that we can get it done at least a week before the event takes place. Lord I know you do wonders and I sincerely hope you can see us through this crisis. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

FANTASTIC!! Zhang Xin Zhe (Jeff Zhang)'s song Mu Yang Ren(Shepherd) is v v nice! The starting is v kiddy and relaxed, whereas the chorus is v fast paced and catchy! Gotta hear it man! I've listened it to the whole day today, but I still dont catch a single word of the lyrics! =P

Erm parents going to Beijing tonight so the house will be quiet and sian. And Im not some delinquent that runs out when yr parents are overseas cos I dont hv to do tt since they just like restrict only 1% of my freedom?! Yeah, which is not coming back too late. Sooo much stuff to do these days and CTs are coming so I doubt I even hv the time to even stay back after 6pm. =X Avionics systems sounds scary. MPI seems a little unsteady so needs a tiny weeny bit more of revision. DCNT has more reading to cover up. CAEM IS THE WORST, SO SO SO MANY MATHS FORMULA TO REMEMBER! And to think the Dr Li said our CAEM book's being used by MIT, no wonder it was so tough for me! Sianz.

Finally the day is over. Spent the whole day ystd at my cousin's wedding. Morning went to Church and did prayers and stuff. The pastor was quite funny and he looked alot alot like this SYFC instructor De Witt. Anyway, he said smth to the both of them, to love a woman, you gotta understand her a little, but love her alot. To love a man, you gotta understand him alot but you dont hv to love him. And the software part was funny too. So finished with the tea ceremony and went home to play Red Alert 3 and napped before the dinner.

Wedding dinner was at Holiday Inn behind centrepoint. Of course, I walked Orchard before the wedding started. Our seats were like at a corner of the room and full view of the stage was blocked by the HUGE pillar in front of us. Though it was a front row, the view sucked. So half the time I was eating, talking and playing with my other cousin's baby. Food was good and esp. the red garoupa, YAM PASTE, chicken and prawns. Finished the dinner at ard 11.20pm but reached home at 12. Y? Cos the traffic jam was MAD! Just right after we exited the hotel's carpark, jam madness. And some idiotic drivers had no brains as to be considerate enough to let other cars pass first.

Sooo soooo tired until I woke up at 10 plus this morning?! Ate breakfast then went to Toyogo to search for a suitable transmitter casing. Wah searched for so so long but I was worried that none would fit my transmitter's size. =P

Gonna go do online quizzes. =D

Monday, November 17, 2008

Wah sianzzz so many things to do now...

1)Finish revising for CAEM chapter 14.5 for quiz this weds

2)Keep track of number of ppl signing up for wine tasting

3)Keep track of number of ppl signing up for bowling event

4)Finish Avionics Systems online quiz

5)Finish MPI online quiz

6)Finish DCNT online quiz

7)Avoinics systems case-study preparation

8)Human factors case-study preparation

9)CAEM tutorials (nv seem to be able to catch up to the scheduled tutorials!!!!)

Wah seriously crazy so much stuff to do and the worst is keeping track of the events. Simply so little little ppl wanna come. Just cant wait for the festive season to come and just relax and do sports, pool and game. Also have to catch up on fixing my plane or else its gonna be a white elephant =X RA3's out now so hv to definitely try playing it.I still remembered playing RA2 with Leslie and co. during P6. And we keep thinking of "special methods" to win one another so it can be said as 1 of the most memorable games during those times. A long period of 7 years down the road and RA3 is out. Sucha long long time.

Wah, just saw the video of the ACJC student being ragged and Im totally AMUSED!

Throwing of cakes and pouring of milk onto the student while she's being tied up on 2 poles? What the hell are wrong with ppl these days. Is life getting too comfortable tt they wanna do such stuff? I think its seriously overboard. Throwing a cake is fine but this is just unacceptable. And they had the audacity to argue on the definition of "fun" to them. Oh yeah so if fun to me was to stuff a bullet up yr ass so I guess you'd be dead by now if I want to hv my fun?! Nobody asked them to be nerds but hv some self-discipline you ill-bred kids! And NOBODY works alone! Even elites DEPEND on others. The best example now is the wall-street crash. Even high-flyers CRASH!

I wont be surprised if shooting takes place in schs in a few years time, just like how it happens in the US. Oh erm, perhaps knifing instead, cos you cant really find guns in singapore though. =P

WAH I WAS SUPER HAPPY YSTD! Finally got my RC aircraft alr! =) Though it was a beginner's aircraft, it didnt come cheap, $450 for these...
SUPER-CUB!
WINGS!
FUSELAGE!
Spektrum DX6i! Wireless system so never ever hv to deal with freq clashes! =D

Compare my hand to the transmitter and you know how big it is =X

Bought all these at Rotor Hobby ystd near Lavender MRT. Dad didnt want to go down to Fook Hai building cos there was ERP =X So looked around there and the display F-16s and helis there were HUGE! I think they can be about 1.5m long?! So asked around for the beginners combo(sounds like a KFC meal =P) and they got me everything tt's required, analog transmitter, servos, beginner's plane, motor, charger, speed control. So I took everything but asked for a change to a digital transmitter. So the price shot up from $279 to $450! Yeah, jus for a change from analog to digital transmitter. But oh well since I thgt I wont be just stuck with 1 plane for the rest of my life I'd decided to get a digital transmitter so I can store the plane's info in it. =D Fortunately Dad was there with me, if you get what I mean =)
Went for the Poly Stage F-actor performance in the night with Teo Huei, Jowell, Jen Kiat,Rayson,Daniel and Jun Jie. Gay Tan PS-ed us at the last min. Hmmmm....the content of the show was nice, dealing with scenes like anger, frustration, sorrow, remorse, betrayal etc. The bad thing was tt the stupid and "low-class" audience ard us were laughing damn loudly until we got damn irritated cos we couldn't hear a single damn thing. The fact was we were sitting at the 3rd row and the theatre wasnt even three quarters full! They seem to be deprived of a childhood or rather deprived of laughter and some idiots even shouted "suggestive" lines to the actors. Another factor was tt the actors were speaking too softly at some point in time. Other than that, I think it was v v entertaining and the actors acted their respective roles well. I loved how the Indian corrected the Ang-moh's pronounciation of "Mussss-Taaaaa-Faaaaa centre" LOL.
Ate prata opp. beauty world after tt and it was "chao ta" went served. Curry was too powdery and to think many see it as 1 of the best supper locations?!
FLY!

HAIZ X 1,000,000.....

Doing my Avionics Systems Case-study project now really makes me MISS the SYFC days. Seriously now Im regretting my decision in quitting the club. I kind of like flying and having the privilege to fly really makes you stand out from the rest. Why? Cos you see things from above and you understand the whole picture.Trimming, flying straight and level, climbing and descending, taking-off, landing.... If only the instructors were not so "indifferent" and strict and pressurising. Perhaps some stuff is due to my faults too but sometimes we are just 18 year olds and not everyone is up to the task of keeping up the pressure to fly well. Its not driving, its flying! Its very very different from anything else you've ever done. Maybe I'll save up next time to get a PPL from 1 of the private clubs. =)

Finally finished my first part of the PDPR project and Im glad to say its well done. Tested it and its good to go! Proceeding now to the second stage of the project le.

MPI prac today was damn damn funny!!! Joel went to delete the semi-collon from mel tan's programme and OMG! his programme couldn't run at all despite having all the functions and stuff right. LOL. And the most amusing part was tt he kept mumbling "hmmm...what is wrong leh..." and his face was the most comical I've ever seen. =P

Gonna give a lecture to the avionics members tmr abt the basic stuff of RC planes.Whooo nervous. And having a interview tmr too.

YAYY, TMR's BADMINTON FOR 2 HOURS!!!!!

Sunday, November 02, 2008

Okies, all the best to those taking their As tmr!! Jiayou last battle le! =)

Badminton is just super fun and addictive!! Played on Tues, Fri and Sat. Tues played for 1.5hs, Fri for 2.5 hs and Sat for 3 hs! So in total played erm.....7hs for the whole week?!?! But now Im building some wrist power and footwork is getting much better. But the price to pay? My thighs are aching like mad now and I hope it will be better after a massage cos I want to play on tues =P Oh and Im gonna get a new grip soon because I forgot to cover the racquet butt of my current one. LOL

Been thinking really hard what kinda plane hobby should I invest in. The scale model kind(Build, paint and display) or those RC ones so that I can go to the big fields and fly it. Scale model ones are quite stationary and the fun only lasts for a while?!?! Yeah so its just build, paint, display and the process repeats itself until you stop it. The RC ones are more fun in the sense you can build the electronics onto the new planes and add your own stuff like small LEDS or party strings and blah blah. The price is the only factor but I'll get dad to subsidise the beginner's kit cost. =)

Cleared the Forensic Heros 2 about 5 days back and the last case they solved was uber nice! Been missing it for quite a few days cos........erm....its just hard to accept the fact the series has ended?! And channel U is showing the first series too so probably I'll re-see it again.

PDPR is crap! My board is just nonsense la! So untidy with all the wires running about in a "heywire" manner. Lucky for me the board still worked in the end without the capacitors blowing off in a fireworks way. Whew. Oh and smelling the soldering lead really really made me feel like vomitting that day and I prayed and prayed to God in the bus for me to hold on until I get home then by the time I can vomit/faint/lie on the bed. God's healing really works! =)

Sat

Went to Marcus's church for special service, or rather, FREEDOM service. It was quite refreshing and very lively. The worship songs were very meaningful. Speech was by their youth pastor and her delivery of her content was excellent, and further aid by the use of diagrams made me understand it very well. Now I know what is meant by true FREEDOM,to be yourself in how God wants you to be,not to be a slave of others, trying to meet their expectations and to be free from all un-necessary worries. It was indeed a very mind-inspiring service. Then we ate and went for pool later on =P

Sun

Parkway parade in the morning. =) Its my dad's favourite place apart from Mustafa. Saw Harry Potter's last book at Giant selling for 9.99 and I thgt it was a good buy! Since I only read a small part of the book only, I thgt buying it was a good choice considering its cheap price. Wah,not until I went down to Borders. They sold it for 9.95?!?! Lingered around Borders to read the Tech magazines before going to Isetan to buy a small Gundam set to fix at home. Recently Im into the model aircraft craze and I think Im gonna get a beginner foam aircraft set soon. Gotta bring Dad to Fook Hai Building one of these days. Hahahahaha. Played Mahjong in the night with mum and bro while dad went out to play with his friends. I won 2 dollars plus?!?! Hahah, better than nth. And dad won 200 so I got more $ too. =D

Mon

Chiong-ed Forensic Heros last disc! Ep 24 now,30's the end! But its so nice I jus dont want it to end. =X Then in the night, same thing, mahjong! but this time I lost a few bucks so evened out. Argh!

Okay tmr there's so many things to bring to sch, toolkit, 2 badminton racquets, 1 tube of shuttle, books, towel. Whew.

Monday, October 20, 2008

Just an hour ago I watched a show on Channel 8 called "Life transformers" (I suppose =X) Its seriously a check on reality and very touching. The show is about how the 2 hosts and a group of volunteers go down to a family that really really needs help from society, as in REALLY very in need of help. And today's family was a family of 4, of which 3 are low in IQ and only the 2nd brother was working. His pay was low as he is lowly educated. The house was in terrible conditions and household pests roamed the place like its their playground. The toilet was so so so dirty that my mother went away from the TV for a moment because she couldn't stand the sight. So the 2 hosts and volunteers came and cleaned the house, helped the family's small girl apply to go to school and submit application forms for financial subsidies.

After watching the show, it just reminds me to realise how fortunate we are.

Like how often

-Others want to go to school when we are raking our brains on how to skip school

-Dreaming of how big a house we want to stay in when others are sleeping under the overhead bridge

-Our next Gucci bag or eating at Crystal Jade restaurants while the poor are struggling to cope with 3 meals a day.

Im not trying to say we must be like them, or learn how to save. But how often do we keep check on ourselves and appreciate the things around us. Like how a simple factor in our daily lives can cause us so much suffering and troubles and ironically we do not acknowledge its presence nor appreciate its value. Perhaps we are just living in a world of ignorance and living each day not knowing what causes its completeness.

Sometimes I wonder why these people are made to suffer and their sufferings keep snowballing over and over again. They are poor, then they get ostracised from society, people verbally and mentally abuse them, blah blah blah. Karma? I dont know. =X

School has started for about a week and the workload this semester looks kinda tough. More practical skills involved and its a combination of what we've learnt in the earlier semesters. In others words, APPLICATION. And now Im stuck with the decision to go for Attatchment or not to go for it. Somehow the pros and cons weight each other out and its really hard to make a informed decision, considering many around me are also having a "sitting on the fence" mentality. Hmmmm.......

Joined the badminton club last sat for their first training for this semester. It seems kinda nice and the committee members explain the rules of the game really well. Some are quite knowledgable in the field of hitting techniques. Best is definitely free play session, 12pm to 4pm. WOW!!! =D

And anyway, just to end it off, I like this sentence from the Bible alot

"Forgive our sins Father Lord, as we forgive those who sinned against us"

Easy to say, hard to execute.

Seriously day by day its getting badminton frenzy for me.

Today I just went down to this shop at TPY Lor 4 Blk 94. Classic Sports Shop. Its quite highly recommended by fellow badminton players in the badmintoncentral forum so I went down to have a look. In the end, I changed my default strings to the Yonex BG 80 which is very good in control and smashes, changed the grip for my secondary racquet, Yonex Carbonex 8 SP (Legend k!) and the guy did a very very wonderful job with the grips, feels very very rough and good to hold, and lastly bought a bottle of RSL practise shuttles. Spent like close to 40 in all?! Yeah but its damn worth it. He didnt charge me for re-stringing and recommended me the RSL shuttles as 1 of the best practise and budget shuttles. =)

Ran 2.4 today at the stadium admist a crowd of pre-NS men taking their NAPFA tests. Reminds me of the NAPFA test next year. =P I still think I need to improve on my standing broad jump, pull-ups and shuttle run. Sit and reach might be a problem too. Haiz. But I finished my 2.4 in 10 mins plus again today! Hahahahaha. The length of 3 songs and Im done. =D

Okay, off to look for more badminton kaki on badminton central alr..Byee! =D

Wah today was super super ZHAI!

Mum's friend, Uncle Gary, needed ppl to help him with some stuff at the annual Hakka Association Gala Dinner and he gave me the job to contact 9 others to come along today from 10 -2. And guess what's tha pay like, 50 bucks for 4 hs! Which is like 12.50 an hour and its damn worth it considering the most I've worked was 7 bucks an hour?!

Ok so got Jonatons, Jiaw, Ajeet, Teo Huei and Tau Koon and some of them called their friends along. Job was to pack the goody bags and we did it in a production line method since we had 1400 bags to pack. Tiring but good for training the muscles! Hahahah..

Uncle Gary, who is 1 of the event organisers came along and said " okay guys I've got you all 1 ticket for the Singapore Motor Show so you ppl can go watch it later" This shocked us quite a lot cos 1 ticket costs 8 dollars. And which boss gives you such privileges. So we continued to pack and talk cock as we did. Later on he bought drinks for all of us and Jiaw was saying he's damn nice and asked him if he wanted a Godson. LOL.

So later on as he packed, guess what he said. "Guys lets go for Kenny Rogers after you all are done, my treat" Wah everybody was like "he's damn nice lar" Okay so we continued packing the bags and some went on to place them on the seats of the ballroom. Oh and PM Lee would be there in the evening so the bomb squad would be present before his arrival and we had to clear our stuff before 2. Luckily, we finished at 1.30 and after Uncle Gary gave us our pay, guess what he said to the 10 of us. "Erm okay Im passing to Mervyn 300 dollars for yr lunch today" Wah everybody was like super uber happy cos its like....30 dollars for lunch per person! Yeah and in total, if you were to add up everything, 50 dollars + 30 dollars lunch + 8 dollars Spore Motor Show Tickets and the drink worth 2 dollars, it just means 90 dollars for 3 hs!!! Wow, everyone was jus super happy.

And Ajeet and Jonatons kept taking photos with the race queens and I had to be their photographer. LOL.

All in all, 1 thing to note, THIS IS A SUPER GOOD LOBANG!!! =)

Wah, tmr public holiday, SLEEP!!!

Anyway, I felt that recently I have been spending too much and I seriously ought to control my budget at least until Christmas. =) This month alone I have alr bought a pair of Creative Earphone, Diadora soccer/indoor court shoes and just yesterday, my new badminton racquet!! =) My almighty Yonex MusclePower 9! Nope of course it doesnt have muscles but it feels light and good! So overall I think I spent 200 plus in a span of like a few weeks?! Yup, no more spending until Christmas. =D

Ran 2.4 this morning and I finally reached like 10 mins and 2 seconds?! Yeah. Hahaha. I think swimming more really helps. And with more table tennis and badminton sessions coming soon, I think I will practically exercise everyday. Whee

Table tennis class today was fine. The yaking b*tch didnt come so it means more time for coach to concentrate on teaching me and the others backhand. But the sound of the shuttlecock smashes at the badminton court next to ours was super tempting and I really jus wanna grab a racquet and join in the fun and SMASH!!!

Sch's reopening soon and I sorta dread it. As in not that I dont wanna study but I have to cut down more on my sporting activities like morning swims or jogs which makes me super reluctant to do so. But Im looking forward to December periods and the hols after the common tests which means 2 weeks break.

Okay going to sleep now, byes!

Today is sports day for me. LOL.

Morning was gym and badminton. Met Joel at the gym at 9 and gym-ed for an hour till 10. Erm, cant carry too heavy weights le, cos didnt visit the gym for almost a month?! Yeah. Then played badminton with Jowell at the Sports Hall Court 1. Erm did alot of running, shuttling and rallying. Sweat quite alot and I could even see the "sweat molecules" on my thighs, arms and face. However, it was super fun. Im very into badminton now and Im gonna change my main racquet soon cos its so so so so heavy, according to both me and Jowell. =P So its the Yonex carbonex racquet next. =)

Spent the afternoon at Mustafa looking for a pair of reasonable priced and comfortable street soccer/indoor court shoes. Was choosing a few Umbro ones and tried on the various sizes. Though they were a little too plastic and restricting on my movements, I still picked them for their cheap prices. Until....I took a turn at the next shelf and saw a Diadora pair! Wow, it was cheaper by 50 cents but it had the perfect size! 9.5 UK size. And its comfort level was HIGH! It felt like a pair of school shoes so most of the composition is made of cotton and cloth. =)

Had Table tennis class at night. Held at the Toa Payoh Central CC. Erm though I had a few incorrect strokes and took some time to learn, I was quite pissed at the rate of the class, mainly due to the kids taking sucha long long long time to learn and there was this act-ang-moh b*t*h who was yaking her way off instead of playing it right. Im so gonna question the age-group of the class next time and Im only going to join those with age-restriction in place.Like they always say, ADULTS ONLY!

Oh and on the other hand, I might be getting a private badminton instructor soon, so YEAH!!!!

Saturday, September 20, 2008

Wahahaha, going to officially learn table tennis le. Was browsing through the People's Association webpage a few days back and saw that there was a table tennis course ongoing at the Toa Payoh Central CC. So I went to sign up, though I had alr missed out on the first lesson. Im so lucky to have found the course ongoing at a CC near my house because the rest of the table tennis courses were just too far away, like Sembawang?!?!

Went to Mustafa this morning to buy my badminton racquet's grip. Bought the Yonex ones, and after opening them at home, they proved to be quite "solid" and steady. Felt quite comfortable holding it and the racquet looked all new after I cleaned it quite throughly.

Time-table came out a few days back. Yay, still in the same class, though instead of J2 the class's name has been to changed to L2. More aerospace modules upcoming, like avionics systems and human factors, which is what Im waiting for because it is these modules that makes the aerospace course stand out from the rest. And after going to the NUS talk last Weds, Im more convinced that Dip Plus will allow me to have a better chance of getting into NUS. =)

Alright, going to catch "I guess, I guess, I guess guess guess" (Pls translate into chinese and you'll get what I mean) =P

OMG!!! I was super shocked this morning to see my results!! GPA 4.0!! Yayyy.Actually I have to thank God for it, for blessing me through this whole examination period. I didnt expect to get a 4.0, maybe a 3.5 or somewhere around there? Yeah. Whee and dad gave me a hundred dollars for a good job done. Wahahaha, now I have some spare money to get my new pair of earphones and my badminton grip's rubber cover le. =)

Played table tennis and the first time I won jen kiat. 4 sets to 3. Well cos I brought my own bat along and since I was more familiar with it and I knew where my mistakes lie, I just played a "minimal mistakes" game by not trying to smack the ball and waiting for my opponent to get impatient and force an error. =D

Fun olympics today was quite okay. Took turns with Teo Huei to brief the respective groups about the game and helped to count the scores. Then while waiting for another group to appear, we would just grab a few balls and play our own game. Hahaha, super fun.

Loads of drama serials to watch now. " HELLO Xiao2 Jie3" , "Sui4 Yue4 Feng1 Yun2" , "Ba4 ba1 bi4 zui3". Clearing them 1 by 1 now. Its all the channel 55 shows but Im just too impatient to wait for them to show 1 episode by 1 episode on TV so I've decided to watch them first. Hahaha.

Manutd lost to Liverpool by 2 goals to 1 and I had expected it. Without Ronaldo's presence, the team is akin to a tiger without fangs. Sure, it has paws to fight, but it wouldn't last long. Ronaldo is still the crucial man to bring the team back to its glory. And just as well, I was at some chinese singing thing which my grandma had a role in so at least I didnt have to see the disappointing game play of manutd, as was described to me by my brother. =(

Last but not least, F1 grabbed my attention the most for this whole week. The Italian GP. Sebestian Vettel took it much to the shock of the other more experienced drivers and it was an undeniable fact that he drove in a very pretty solid manner. Taking the lead over Kovalainen for quite a few laps is an amazing feat for this young driver and he certainly deserved the first place standings. Next up, Singtel Singapore GP. My take would be none other than my personal idol, Lewis Hamilton!!!! =D

Okay, going to rest for now, long day tmr.

See this! Yeah it my newest game in my PC collection. Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 VEGAS! Yeah I know this game was out a year back but I had forgotten to buy it until recently. And since the older games were at a discount, I got it at a much cheaper price. =) And dont hv the misconception that the older games are lousier, because this 1 never is. Its super exciting and it trains on 1 aspect, PATIENCE! Without patience, even SEAL team members cant complete the games. The terrorists are alert at the slightest sound of a gun shot and so the killings have to be done very very carefully after much planning. Im completing 1 stage at a time because it wont be fun to just rush through it all and what's more playing first player shooting games for long hours gives me disorientation and a want to ....vomit?!
Parents are not in town as of today which means......not all hell break lose lar, Im not some kid that goes to club. but more freedom le and yeah, quieter house. Going to the masterbedroom later to watch cable tv and yeah, until how late also can. =)
After a few sessions of peer tutoring, I can really see a difference in students in top schools and those in the neighbourhood ones. No Im not being elitist here, but seriously there has got to be a difference otherwise how would we know who are the better ones. Those I taught a few days back were just super rowdy and v inattentive. To think that they were praised by the teacher to be bright students and are going for entry into DPAE. Im mean attitude wise I would expect better but they truely were a rowdy bunch. Compared to those from top schools, they know how to handle their work and have a better sense of responsibility. Also, they are more attentive and even if they miss out on something they will find a way to get back to it. I doubt the ones in my class are going to pass the on-coming exam. I would say perhaps 80% of the class wont make it. On e other hand, the ones at the other class are v quiet and attentive. They come prepared and know how to ans the qns. I would feel confident for them.
Alright going to watch TV le. Bye! =)

Isn't it ridiculous?! Apple's most likely going to announce a new ipod touch and my guess is that the new touch could "take-in" the same design as the current iphone 3G, which has tapered ends and a plastic back. Oh gosh, I would prefer the newer 1 because I wont have to worry about the scratching of the back then. =(

I've been quite free these few days and its more of TV and sports, like as I mentioned in the previous posts, swimming. Played soccer for an hour today before going for my usual run. However, this time while running, I realised that I was better in controlling my breaths and knowing my constant breath pacing. To put it another way, I sorta can last a longer distance as compared to last time. Perhaps the swimming sessions showed a little results. =) Im gonna go swimming again tmr morning and this time Im having a shot at my lousy free-style technique. I keep forgetting to kick my legs everytime I focus too much on my breathing and movement of the hands. So Im gonna have to master it and perhaps by the end of the year, I will be able to swim a medley.HAHAHAHAHA. Okay Mervyn you are DREAMING!

Looked at my schedule and the next 2 weeks are gonna be quite packed. Peer tutoring, Work, Looking after the house and doing some housework while dad and mum are away, going to lay my touch on my poor long forgotten keyboard, swimming, jogs, table tennis sessions, completing my book and magazines, cousin's bbq, Chiong-ing the TV drama......And after seeing the police trainees kayaking during the 10pm channel U hong-kong drama, I have a super strong urge to go KAYAKING!!! But I wont do it in the open seas since Im not a pro, perhaps macritchie.

And I have quite a few things to buy and do,buy the plastic covering for my badminton racket, buy new headphones, buy tt book at e shelf at popular, cut hair, finish the peer tutoring solutions, buy new TYR goggles, buy new swimming trunks, buy new shoelaces.

Alright, going to catch up with my drama on dvd le, bai-bai!! Hehe....

Oh shucks, my ear-phones just spolit. =( And what's more its a Sennheiser earphone so I'd expect it to be more lasting?! Okay nvm so I guess its time to get a new one since I'd go crazy if there is no music entertainment when I take buses. Looking at cheaper alternatives like Sony or Creative and even Bose. And now I realise the importance of noise cancelling earphones because they really do block out NOISE! In science, noise is simply defined as unwanted sounds or signals. So since the noise coming out from the bus engine is not what I want to hear, then its good to have noise-cancelling ear-phone. Therefore, first priority, NOISE-CANCELLATION!! =)

Swam 1KM today, which is equivalent to 20 laps, and which is accumulated by 16 laps of breaststroke and 4 laps of backstroke. The water keeps getting into my nose when I was attempting my first lap of backstroke but it gets better over time. People say the best runners can also pant while swimming, because swimming is sport in another medium, in this case, water. Hmmmm...but I still dont feel tired after 20 laps, which took me about 45 minutes inclusive of rest-time? Yeah. And Im so gonna try swimming like 40 laps in a week for every week this holiday. It seems little to the pro-swimmers but to a beginner like me, quite hard. I might increase the number of laps if I get better with the endurance, who knows?

Booked the table-tennis court again this Sunday for the same old 2 hours. It was super fun last week and I tried out a new attacking move which proved to be quite successful in hitting the ball at the corner and the percentage of it getting out of the table was like only 5%?

okay, gg off to do some surfing for new earphones le. =P

I just seriously hate ppl with no sense of responsibility, and those who criticise others who HAVE it. As in, for that matter, it just wasnt my damn bloody duty to inform you how to reach e location, and I think its yr mama's job to do that, but since Im not yr mama, consider me helpful cos I took the extra mile to tell you. And if yr fuking dad doesnt wanna drive you there, why blame me if we ever not reach there in time?!?! I alr told you that I am NOT sure how to get there but I have a little insight as to where that place is. So instead of saying "okay, sure", why sprew foul language and talk as if Im yr fuking tour guide and I have a damn damn heavy responsibility to get you there. Its a "Go there yourself kinda thing" so I dont expect myself to hold yr hand and bring you there, only to fear hearing you wail like a bitch when I go on e wrong route. C'mon, go there yourself if you are so fuking smart, (and of course you really are fuking smart, close to GPA 4.0 and I CANT measure myself next to you). But at least I hv some sense of shame and I know who's doing the REAL JOB! Start to appreciate those ard you and stop being a snob, otherwise I'll be waiting to watch you fall, fuker.

Sorry for those vulgar language but it seriously pisses me off with ppl like these.

Had CAEM 2 exam a few days, when all e others are alr resting. Super killer ar. I just stared and stared at the qns and went blank. Seriously, I will count my blessings should I pass this paper. Oh and erm, Mr O'Connor is going back to Princeton le. He has sorta finished his holiday "job" in Singapore and yeah, it certainly was an enjoyable 1 year with him. He's my first ang moh teacher and a v v patient one, NEVER scolds us before. Well he likes to swim and since the olypmics just ended with phelps getting 8 golds, we all sorta linked these 2 Americans together, calling him the phelps of ngee ann, HAHAHA. I almost wanted to draw 8 Gold medals on e card to remind him that the card was given on the year phelps got 8 golds. Wish him all the best in Princeton and the years ahead. =)

Went to play pool with kenneth ystd. On the way to the pool shop at AMK, saw jonatons! Hahaha, and I told him I was going to play pool so he said next time if want go play pool ask him.Wheee, means got additional pool buddy le.Hahaha. And my pool was damn damn lousy ystd, though I got a few nice jump shots. Hehehe. But I learnt where to apply my strength to ystd. It seems that the last few pool session, I didnt really know how to transfer my strength to the ball, but now I know how to. =)

Bought a Butterfly Table Tennis bat at Mustafa after the pool session. Errrr, recently, there is a table tennis frenzy going on between me, teo huei, jowell, jen kiat and daniel. Hahahaha. We just like to play table tennis after our briefing sessions and its damn addictive. Doubles, Singles, wahahaha, super nice to play. Therefore, I've invested in a Table Tennis bat that I hope will last me through at least 6 months?! Yeah and Im gonna give my badminton racket a "make-up" session too, since the handle is super super dirty.

Loads of activities coming up. This sat hv smth on at St Nicks, the year 3 fun olympics, Peer tutoring sessions. Whooo, seriously crazy, but that's how 7 weeks of holidays are meant to be. =)

Just another 1 more paper to go on monday but somehow I feel I've finished my whole exams, well since monday's paper is an extra module kinda thing so I dont really feel important about it. But still, it will do good to help me get into NUS so, yeah, I hope I end up with a B for it. =)

Ystd went to the CAGE with eugene, jiaw, eric, donny, markus, trey, wei jian, razin, zul and his 2 friends, ajeet and his friend alwin, yue hao, guan yu, zean, rosiman, adam, ying chao and his friend. Lol. 21 people for 4 hrs of soccer. And for my first game jiaw kept saying I nv run. Aiyoh, few days nv slp le damn tired mah, v breathless. lol. Then took a rest, played. Took a rest again, played. There were quite some pretty girls next to our pitch, I think its SMU girls but they were wearing their JC PE shirts to play. Hahahaha. I tricked ajeet tt there was a pretty indian girl on the next pitch. LOL. Bathed and talked alot of lame jokes with Tuan Jiaw. He told me I can become a joker in future. Guess what I said,if Im a joker, he's batman, cos he can catch all my jokes. Oh gosh, I know its damn lame too. =P Had dinner at old airport road and then me and eugene accompanied tuan jiaw to esplanade then to some place at city hall to look for his, errrr forgot the name le, but its some small small small little guitar.

Today went for fun olympics napfa briefing cos Im 1 of the game masters involved. Then played table tennis. Wahahahah, today I learned how to surf, of course without the spin lar. LOL. But damn addictive, super duper addictive. I think Im gonna book the table tennis court at TPY central CC every week and drag my bro along to play with me, since catholic high peeps are also somehow into table tennis too. HAHAHAHAHA...

So many sports I wanna play now after watching olympics. Erm, athletics is what I've done competitively since pri sch for 3 yrs so I know the rules and methods for training. In other words, a little boring. Soccer, errr...okay lar, but getting a little bored. Now the hotter sports in my mind are TABLE TENNIS, BADMINTON and....SWIMMING!!! HAHAHA. Since hols are here, I think Im gonna incorporate jogging, swimming, badminton, table tennis and soccer into my schedule. Wah, cant wait to play all of them man.

Wah sian, cant sleep.

Took a 2 hr nap in e afternoon and since I have maths exams tmr, of course do abit of maths papers 1st then slp. Who knows, doing it made me more awake then ever!! So now,I have a sleepy mood but an awake brain, which made me toss and turn around bed for like 1.5 hr?! Yeah. Thus, I decided to come online and surf the net for a while, continue with some reading of my notes then maybe sleeping when my brain feels very very sleepy. I read somewhere, that its better to sleep when your brain feels v sleepy and tired. That way when you are awake you will feel more refreshed and charged, like the theory of charing a battery. Dunno how true is it, but Im quite certain I can last till 6 in the morning. Maybe I wont sleep and just chiong to sch for exams after tt. Hmmmmm....

Manutd dawing 1-1 with Newcastle, LIU XIANG WITHDRAWING FROM THE HEATS, Gabriel Abonglahor scoring 3 goals in 7 minutes. Definitely shocking news from Sportscentre today.

Wah mum and dad are going on more and more hols. During the dec 07 family trip to Shanghai, she said that it would quite long later for our family to go travelling again. Not that we cant afford, but because of our schedules. Then, mum said that there is a "free loop" in June where our whole family can go for a 1 week trip to Japan. So we went. During the trip, she said the same thing as what she mentioned in Shanghai. Now, guess what, she and dad are going to Beijing in Nov, without me and my bro. Just ystd, she said that they would also be going to Genting too, 2 weeks later. When I asked her how much was the air tickets and stuff, she just said " ohr $XXXX lo, quite cheap leh". *Roll my eyes*. Wah had I been "booked" onto the flight together with them to Beijing too, this would be the 3rd time Im going to China in a year. By calculation, I have already spent 1.75 mths, close to 2 mths, overseas this year, if I take in my Dec trip during Christmas. Anyway, I told my mum to buy the "Fu-Wa" mascots of the Olympics cos I think they look great and nice as compared to any other mascots I have seen. =)

Okay, going to "discharge" my brain le. Hahaha.

Congrats to the singapore team for making it through to get a medal after 48 long years.

Well, watched the match ystd but Singapore's performance wasnt really that good, considering the scary losses at the start. I have to say it'd boiled down to luck and skills. Luck was certainly standing on the side of the lions team as we had come so so so close to deuce? At that kind of situations, it is very very pressurising as whoever gets the next 2 wins. So, when we finally won, its luck, esp. the last ball when the korean player sort of mis-surfed the ball?! And skill because of the ability to handle the pressure. Li jiawei wasnt good in her singles game, so much offensive for nothing. I think the koreans have the defensive capability, but their attacks are quite useless. On the other end, singapore looks a little complacent in their attacks, smacking so hard and with quite a number of times getting the ball out. But we still prevailed in the end.

I have nothing against foreign players, of course I would prefer native singaporeans. But its their misperformance that pisses me off, paying them tt much, providing so much incentives and in the end we get nth?! People say why worry, give them more time lar. But they are world class players, dont tell me they need more time to condition up?! If that's the case, then we might as well get our native singaporeans, who can use the time to condition up to good use too. But since they have finally delivered, most of the credits to 1 player, Feng TW, I have nth to moan about.

Phelps for another 2 more!!

Friday, August 15, 2008

Okay, just about 30 mins ago, I heard this small argument a few units down my house. It was this chinese man who was looking for his employer, I suppose, to get back payment for wages they owned him for quite a period of time. He came a few nights ago and waited from 7 to like 1am? Yeah, he just sat there quietly waiting for the owner to come back. And those bloody idiots didnt ans his call nor open the door when he went up knocking on their doors. This got him damn fustrated and he just went into a rage and went knocking at the door just now. The mother, I suppose, came out and argued with him. They sorta owned him 680 dollars in wages. They claimed they sent it to the bank account but he didnt receive it. So they argued and the man is now waiting at the void deck downstairs for the employer to turn up.

Well, I deduce those people might be bankrupt, because to be able to own a mansionette in toa payoh, you have to be quite, erm rich. Im not saying Im damn bloody rich, but selling my unit at the current market price can get me a condo if you add a few hundred dollars more to it. So cant pay 680?! Impossible, unless bankrupt.

Simply to put it, I HATE people who owe others money. Money is not important , health is, some might say. But no money, how to buy food?! Before you even can take care of your health, you would'nt need to, if you get what I mean, i.e. to heaven. So I NEVER start the borrowing habit. No borrow, no oweing. Spend within your means. I read in The New Paper today that a lawyer absconded with his clients' money and I think this is happening too often. Lawyers, the ones who argue the best among the society, have no ethics and moral values? So I dont see a person by what qualifications they achieve, but by what kind of EDUCATION they receive. EDUCATION does not mean a doctorate degree. Its the MORAL EDUCATION and willingness to apply what you have learnt INTO HELPING SOCIETY. That is the true purpose and cycle of education.

That poor man is still waiting downstairs and its past midnight now. He's been doing it for a few nights. I know the pain and loneliness in waiting alone, with no aim. Seriously pity that man. Haiz.

Today I knew 1 thing that top leaders in every industry has, which others dont possess. The ability to think critically. For only the empty vessels make the most noise. Sometimes people are shrouded by things and their heart, that their brains do not come into any use. These are the ones who will be the followers, because the leaders will make use of their hearts to bring about a change in their mindset. Read, but read CRITICALLY! Never be lead by the nose, rather, control your thinking and be CLEAR-MINDED!
OLYMPICS!!!!

Yeah that's my recent craze, aside from the crazy cramping of DEL into my brain.

The swimming competitions were damn cool. PHELPS!!! 3 Golds as of now. For the 4X100m relay, its was exhilirating. The closeness of the 2 teams, the States and the French. Damn close. Had the French came a little closer, no more 8 golds for phelps. And 5 of the teams broke the world record!! Amazing. And another of Phelps's event, he was like 1 bodylength ahead of the others. Pure OWNAGE!! Waiting to see the athletics events.

Susilo sucked for his match. Yes it may the n0.2 in the world, but I hoped for a better performance rather than errors all over. Tao Li, okay la, no comments, she should have came in a little faster. Quah Ting Wen looked good for her heats on national day, coming in second for the medley. But she looked tired for the last 50m stretch. Lynette Lim was okay too, actually not bad le. And people have been saying Tao Li is the 5th fastest in the world?! Haha, the people who commented it surely are JOKERS!! Think again everyone. Its a super insult to your intelligence. To be more clear, its 5th fastest in the EVENT, not WORLD!!! She didnt make it through the heats in today's 200m butterfly so does it still make her the 5th fastest in the world? Oh well, she came in 5th in her heats today.

If not for the exams soon, I will be sitting 24/7 in front of the tv watching the Olypmic events.

Back to DEL.

The lessons in the rain

Yes, I rarely post titles for my posts, but this time, Im having one because this post is very significant to me.

Today is the day I've finally learnt something new, and a teaching to remember for life.

After sending my brother off to tuition at my ex-tutition teacher's new house (he didnt know how to get there since its his first time there), I was suppossed to play soccer at Serangoon. Then the weather started to get dark and it was going to rain. I didnt really mind since I called marcus earlier on and he said there was already 1 round of downpour before that. As he had his caregroup, I waited for him at macs until 5.45 where we were suppossed to meet at the soccer court. And that was when God started to plan his lesson for me.

Yes, the thunder accompanied the rain and it started pouring cats and dogs. I ran to the nearest shelter to take cover and I had this in mind, "I had to get off to the bus stop or else I wont have a good chance to later when the rain gets heavier." But on the other side of my mind was what if marcus came down looking for me and doesnt find me there, it would seem that I had abandoned him. But I knew this would never happen cos I know marcus would nv would come find me. LOL. So I just ran to the bus stop.

And yes, marcus didnt call me to ask me to go home and say that the match was cancelled, until it was about 7.He apologised though. Perhaps he was too busy but I learnt a lesson from that, or rather, I would have called him to do so if we were to switch positions. But I never blamed him because it wasnt his fault. It was the freaky weather.

So lesson 1, always be attentive to those around you. Never be too engaged in your own stuff to ignore the rest around. Its never responsible to do so.

At the bus stop, we were all forced to take a step back to prevent the rain from splashing onto us. So I squeezed with the ZHSS students in the bus-stop. Then came this parent that drove her car in front of the bus-boarding platform and her daughter was right in front of the platform. Guess what, her daughter told her mother to make a U-turn to the carpark 10m away to pick her up, because the rain was getting heavy. Firstly, the distance from the platform to the car was less than 0.5m. The girl covered her head with her history textbook and walked to the car under the heavy rain to tell her mum to U-turn, when I felt she could have just got into the car ASAP. The kids at the bus-stop that saw this incident later told their parents to do the exact same. Only 2 didnt. And both were ladies too. I seriously cant imagine why children of this generation are so "soft" .Im not generalising all of them but most. Is it that hard to just move into the car ASAP, at most drenched in a little little tiny bit of rain? That hard? So comforted are we that we take things for granted to even push our way in to best fit our convenience.

Lesson 2. Always be appreciative for what you have and accommodate. Dont push your luck too far and try to do things your own way. Sometimes, its good to give and take.

Lesson 3, never take a wife like that. =P

And the last lesson, its only in times of hardship do we see true kin/friendship. The sweet days are useless, the hard days are always the most precious.

Those lessons aside, Marcus, Joel,Mel Tan and I went to watch Money No Enough at PS ystd after gym. It was a funny movie, with all the hokkien stuff entertaining the audience around. But it had a realistic and unfortunate sad side to it. It definitely does reflect about the current situation in Singapore, regarding treatment to the elderly. I shall not be a spoiler so catch the movie. But do take some pointers from it, esp. the last part. It does re-iterate my last lesson as mentioned above.

Formed!! OMG it was damn cool. They had many other stunts too and the most thrilling one was when they had to fly "past" one another and we had a short opportunity to hear in on their conversations. Black Knights rock! This was the Night section of the parade which was damn boring and unappealing to me. Every year without fail there's like the history of Singapore to the modern day and what's for the future. *YAWNS*
Yeah, the damn boring performance part.
Oh and I thought introducing these cute little balloons were a nice idea.
This was the first and only fireworks I saw for the parade. Mum and I ran first before the whole thing ended cos there's definitely going to be a crowd later on rushing towards the MRT stations. As it is, many people were alr leaving the floating platform just as we were going away too.

Oh and I saw Michelle Sabrina Phua ystd at Bishan Popular. HAHAHA. I was going for my regular jogs and she told me she saw me on the bus and suspected it was me le. HOHOHO. And her doubts were confirmed. Well, she became skinnier and has HAIR! But her "Byeee--Byeee" never changed. LOL.

Money No Enough tomorrow at town!!!!! =D

Wah seriously, 1 word to sum it all..SIAN...

Tmr's CCT for maths and Im still screwed for First order Differential Equations! I mean, I can do until the intermediate steps but Im really $%^$% for the advanced part. As in not that I cant do it, its the careless mistakes tt piss me off. It justs lags time down and it sucha PEST! ARGH!!!! I just hope to get 75% of the whole marks and Im really satisfied. After all, the only other topic that is to be tested, Fourier series, seems alright to me. Hmmm..maybe I should up that percentage up to 80%..HAHAHA...

Bought this book at Popular today. Recently I have been going on a buying book spree. I never liked reading books since young, but Im fine with articles and history(esp. Famous people =) ). Well, this book is called "The Last Lecture" Yup, the top selling Non-Fiction book worldwide. A pity, the book's author died last week, losing his battle to Pancreatic Cancer. Well, he's a professor at Cargnie Mellon, top 20 unis in the world. And its better if you see the synopsis. Really good book to read.

But I havent finished my CCT revision yet so I cant read it and it pisses me off too to know that there is a good book temptingly lying around my table and I just cant flip to read it!!!!!!

Resumed my House to Juntion 8 jogs today! After it remained stagnant for quite long. =( Lost a little stamina and yeah, somehow the "continuous motion" of the legs only started to become quite normal after the Rjc route. Must be because of the pretty girls I saw along the way. HAHAHAHAHA. But seriously, I never fail to spot a pretty girl everytime I jog past there. So that's my *AHEM* motivation *Ahem* for jogging past there. LOL. And guess who made a "guest appearance". Not to spoil the surprise, let me give you some traits of this guest. Well, he hasnt changed, he still like to stand on the left/right and tap the shoulders of others on the opposite direction he is standing. None other than Han Wei! LOL. Really shocked to see him there and he just got skinnier. Haiz, must be stress bah. But when you think of Han Wei, you associate with the word stress. HAHAHAHAHA....

Alright, back to revision. =(

Alright! I have finally fought the war on IS and its just presentation tmr and poof! done for this semester! Well I can really say 98% of the "group work" was completed by me. Hahahaha...so proud of myself. I can complete what's meant for a team of 5 yeah! And tomorrow's peer evaluation will be very interesting and since Im the leader, Im sure my words carry weights. =) Now I've come to realise something. Its the exact same in NPCC when I was in the P&P department. When the leader does not allocate work to the subordinates to do,it doesnt mean that the leader wants to act cool and take it up all. Its the subordinates that are incompetent to finish the difficult job. If a report was handed up to the higher level authorities and its apparently rubbish, who gets the whacking first? Definitely the guy which is 1 level below. And that poor guy has to manage between reprimanding the guy who submitted to him and getting a new and better one done soon enough. Might as well he finishes it off from the start. That's why your bosses are always given more, so dont complain. =D

Sometimes, when you are voluntarily cleaning up "shit" for others and they just give you more and more "shit" without appreciating what you've done, what do you do? Well, if its me, just stop wiping their buttocks and let them clear the "shit" themselves. Or better, let them fall into it. Nope, this is nothing to do with IS. Its about some voluntary stuff I did for a friend and a few hours ago I got "nice comments" for that. Dont worry, Im sure he knows what "shit" will taste like soon enough.

Singapore VS Brazil. 0-3 Not a scoreline that is very "expected" =(

1 word. Perfect.

So what's Perfect you might be thinking. Well, 3 words. The Dark Knight.

Its has an almost flawless storyline. Though flawless, but to me, it seems perfect. Storyline is very well developed. The twists and turns in the story are very strongly connected and the most unexpected result leaves the audience yearning for more to come, together with getting them hyped up for the next exciting scene. As the movie goes on, the atmosphere is really tense and there is no telling what the is the Joker's "next card". And so, this means that Batman has to throw in an equal number of chips and "Follow", until its time for Show-Hand. A good movie doesnt hint about the next scene, just like how a powerful engine has its silent drive. No sophisticated equipment, if you do not count the Lamborghini that got crashed 5 minutes after it took off. Its just action, suspense, action, suspense, action and more suspense. Until when the dierctor sorts of know the movie might become too draggy and bore the audience out, he pushes in the end, but definitely an unexpected one. I never like spoilers, that's why I watched the movie alone and in Toa Payoh, rid of all those people who will give comments like " Ohr he will do.....now/he will do .....later". Why watch again when you know?! And the timing that I watched the movie at was also perfect too. If you're a student in a government school and you're watching it at the same time, its gotta be 1 reason, skipping school. =P

Busy Busy week..But tell me who's week isnt busy?

Just completed ECE video screening session just now. Have AGM rehearsal tomorrow and I hope its a short rehearsal because I dont think a helper like me needs registration rehearsals?! Weds is free day and its either gym or The Dark Knight, which I will touch on later. Thurs the real AGM and Fri its...well...most likely bball. And move the hour hand faster by 10 times the exams would be right smack in front of my face.

Watched Red Cliff and in contrast to what many have said about it being a fantastic show, nope, I find it a normal 3/5 rating kinda movie. Yes, the scenes are nice and there're some funny dialogues from time to time. The formation that Zhuge Liang used at the end was fantastic and that is why I didnt fail the movie. =P For the cons. Predictable storyline, considering that I've watched so many drama serials on this three kingdoms warfare and the "To Be Continued" still irks me a week on. Super irritating ending and its not even wrapped up nicely when compared to movies like Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean. Even Channelnewsasia's review sorta gave the same kinda conclusion. I would rather spend it on The Dark Knight had I known about its superb reviews. =D Im just waiting to see if it really lives up to the hype surrounding it. Critics gave a 8.5/10 for it. If hardcore critics gave tt kinda ratings, I dont expect to be complaining much.

Oh and Im gonna learn driving now! I mean, of course start with taking the theory tests first. =)

Okay, Im so super pissed off with cbox. Its new layout totally sucked. If you guys could take a short glance to the left of my blog, you will realise that there is a spam message there. Yes, I dont know why but there are always spam messages on my tagboard buy fortunately not many of them. Thus Im able to delete them indv. With the new layout in place, I cant find the latest messages at all! Those tagged during the 2008 period. SIANzzz

Im sure many of you out there have seen the latest scandal involving the chairman of Ren Ci..Wow, that was so totally unexpected at the start, when he was doing all those defying acts to get more people to donate. Well come to think of it, if you act as some spoilt brat or bad kid, do you think people would wanna donate to you?! Of course you would have to "act" like so ... " okay Im gonna grab their sympathy so let me squeeze out some tears". LOL. Its sucha joke. He owns condos, cars, a personal business and obscene films?! I didnt remember hearing buddha travelling around in a toyota. Of late I saw monks in toa payoh driving their merz around. Having a car is fine but having a merz is some sort of over-doing it. So much for phrases like "all is but an illusion", "simplicity is a virtue" ...They dont practise what they preach! I mean, if they cant get rid of their "wants", why shave off their hair? I mean, the shaving of the hair is to sorta "remove" their humanly desires and stuff. Perhaps they've not removed the hair root yet so some of the "desires" still remains. Hahaha. Then again, to the conclusion, HE'S GOTTA ACT!!! This is not to discriminate all monks but yeah, this incident sorts of ruins the religion's image of simplicity and peace. So to all those out there, dont let a black sheep spoil everything, there are tons of people out there who deserve our genuine help!! If money does not seem like a good thing to give out to, then provide your services!

Im gonna post the photos of the bbq with the China Students tomorrow after I've loaded them into my laptop!

To the gym now! =)

Went to collect my present from Jamie after sch today. And so here it is!!!

A nicely done-up handwritten card from her and a black adidas water bottle from her,Fiona and Eunice. Thanks girls!! =) Oh and thanks to Jamie for reading my blog regularly despite being shrouded with the revision for As and CCA. All the best to all 3 of you for your As. And Fiona ar, dun forget to give me your doctor/dentist discount card when you become a doctor/dentist. Best if free of charge k. =P

See, a new TV in my room! Or rather not so new afterall, cos it was passed down to me from my grandma. Now now now, I know what you guys are thinking but nope, obviously my grandma didnt have this since like what, world war 2? LOL. She wanted a new Samsung LCD TV cos she complained of the poor colour display, so my uncle got her 1. Wah, even she knows how to be picky about her TVs.I wont be surprised if she has a friendster account.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...

Hmmmm....You must be wondering why did I post these 2 cups and 3 medals,2 of which are sorta hidden at the top of the 2 cups. Well, I have found myself to be quite unfit and to be more blunt, fat of late. Like, I was considered the top 4 or 5 runners in primary school. I still remembered when we were preparing for the Nationals,Cheng Zhong and the other 2 relay runners were practising hard while I was drinking bubble tea with Leslie at the podium?! Yet, I didnt lose my speed. =) I myself didnt even know what got into me during tt time but I just had that speed for the 100m dashes. Now, I think its a 100m pant. Well, not that bad, but yeah, unfit le =( That's why Im gyming lately and trying to get back into top form. There's only 1 period of my life when Im young and of course must be fit now mah. Dun tell me wait till 60 years old le then hit the gym?!

Yay,tmr watching Red Cliff and having bbq with the China people who are visiting our campus. Too bad they are also leaving the same night too. =(

Hehe, not updated for a long long time le. =P

Here are the some pictures, well, to keep this blog alive with photos instead of boring words. Well, trying to find the best platform to upload my photos, whether its Picasa or flickr or photobucket. Used Picasa and its uploading of photos to blogger was quite #$%#$. Havent tried their web album yet but if I just wanna post a few photos in here I guess its quite impractical to upload them on the web album. Like duh.

Alright, pressies for my 18th b'day. Only a few physical ones cos the rest comes in the form of crisp and nice smelling notes everyone would love to hold. Esp. the orange/brown coloured ones with loads of zeroes at the back. LOL.

Ahh the ipod touch touch! Mum sponsered quite abit for it while I cleared the rest of the sum! Thanks mama!
A Tigger handphone holder from my 2 close cousins. Thanks Joey and Jonathan!

A Sophie Kinsella book titled "Remember Me" from Dad. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to add in the Jack's Place Lunch and Marble Cheese Cake. Thanks Dad!
Okay that's all for my presents. I cant tell you how much I received lest some of you out there want me to sponser lunch or smth. Hahahahahahahaha.... Most importantly its the thought that counts so whether or not I do receive presents, a b'day wish is still enough.
P.S. Okay Im lying, who doesnt want more b'day presents! ~~~ Like dont you want money??
Now, its the NEW items I got myself for my b'day

Bought so many keychains from Japan. This is my present for myself! Cos its from overseas so its at least worth its price and add that on to 1 go-and-return air tickets. =)

Haha, changed slippers. Cute! Bought it from Havaianas at Heeren. It cost me about like 30 dollars? Fret not, there's only 1 reason why I wanna buy there, cos Ngee Ann students have 20% off all NUM flip-flops!! Wheeee...... So with such a good "headstart",why not "finish the race" ? =D
Back to Fourier series. =(

Sunday, July 06, 2008

AHHHH!!! 18 le. Which means, eligible for driving license, 4D(HAHAHA), liqour and club entries. Sounds so......like....an ah beng or smth..LOL. And oh yeah, most impt M18 movies, which mostly are restricted due to its violent nature, so dont think otherwise k. LOL.

Erm, I was greeted in the morning with a msg from my aunt and JAMIE! Haha. Then l8r on came a whole string of msgs by sms, msn and friendster. So here goes, in no order of merit blah blah blah blah blah, I would like to thank my famileee, aunts, cousins joey and jonathan, Jamie, Kenneth Long, Hee Siong, Jowell, Miic, Wing Him, Samantha, Shi Rong, Jun Liang,Yue Hao, Eugene!! Haha,Kaixiang, zul, minyu,Shawn, zhen wen and my 2 ex-maids who sms-ed all e way from the Phillipines/Indonesia and all those who remembered. Thanks guys!

Had lunch at Jack's Place, which is our family's usual restaurant for b'days since my mum is a member there. Had their set lunch special which in my opinion is cheap and NICE! Well, the environment was quite noisy though, with babies wailing and adults talking at the top of their voices to compete with one another etc. I'd pay more for fine dining in a quietier place. Bought a marble cheese cake from there to "cut-cake" in e night. =)

Napped the whole noon away cos I was SO SO SO sleepy after lunch. Normally people would be like hanging around with their friends and doing those stuff that requires a "18 ONLY membership" Nah, not for me. I dont feel I've reached the maturity of an 18 year old yet. =P But then again, who says 18 year olds must do this and that and act like an adult. We are all INDIVIDUALS! =D

Ate Macs in the night cos dad went out for a "dry swim". LOL. Then to aunt's house to cut e cake. Wah the marble cheese cake was quite creamy and the layer of biscuit below was delicious! Very delectable. Hmmmm..

Okay shall post the photos up soon, after I set up a flickr account. Trust me, very very soon!!!!

Okay so yeah 18 le, and made my b'day wish alr. As usual, b'day wishes cant be told otherwise they wont come true le!! HAHA! So what do I wish to achieve? I believe what you wish to achieve or be done cant sorta start at yr bday right? Like if you wanna learn swimming, dont tell me you wanna wait till your next bday to start or smth?! But its always nice to be remembered and you know, receive wishes from those around you! =D

Bought my first 4D ticket and lost. Damn. LOL. But it was just for fun, bought 2 bucks.

Alright, Im now 18 le, so ......thanks everyone and good night!!!!

P.S. Im still receiving b'day wishes now and then so I'll be editing this post till maybe tomorrow, yeah cos there will still be belated b'day wishes. =) HAHA

EDITED!!
Okay to add onto the list, Jan and Eunice

Not blogged for like...a week? Oh well, busy unpacking my stuff and erm, getting ready for school!

Sch's fine, started with my new IS today, which is Introduction to Report Writing. Very very much like IAC and from the name it suggests that it is very demanding on the proficiency of one's English. Whew. The teacher's not bad and guess what my group's topic was...FACEBOOK! Like...wow.

This sat's CAEM CT paper. Loads of insecurities about it. The long list of formulas, complex derivatives, and its just so much so like JC maths. Well if I can get through to the last paper, the lecturer said that our maths standard would be comparable to that for first year uni!! *SMILES*

I browsed through my Japan trip's photos and I just realised that I have so so so so so so so so so so many photos to upload. Erm so I shall filter those which are really APPEALING, like how I waited for Mt Fuji's peak to be cleared from the shrouds of clouds and erm, yar, you get the meaning.

My Euro's final prediction? Most probably Germans VS the Russians. It would be a pity for the Germans to lay mercy to the fat Turkey and erm...Hiddink would coach the Russians to grab a small victory over the inexperienced young spanish side. Finals would be hard, because when luck is shining, pigs do fly. Hmmmm.. not a good example, but, yeah.

Alright, back from Japan and I will post the photos and stuff later. Sad stuff first

Well, received news from a group of ex-4e4 classmates that Mr Kelvin Tan passed away. It shocked me instantly because it was just so random! That was the first msg I saw on my hp tt morning in the hotel and it changed my day. Today's his cremation and Im not attending it. Not because I hate to go solo or whatsoever, but because no-one gave me the address despite me asking for it and......I have an appointment in school today. I remembered Mr Tan punishing the guys in the class for not attending PE lessons once, and that he told us the importance of sticking to our schedule. Now, Im doing what he's echoing, perhaps from above.

Read quite alot of ZHSS juniors' blog about what happened regarding his death. Most said he delayed a serious virus treatment to concentrate on the preparation of the Mid year exams. And if given treatment now, chances are he would most likely become a vegetable. Thus his family decided to let him go.

But come to think of it all, he has 1 good thing to be happy, seriously happy about. He has seen the love for him. The number of people turing up at the wake, the cards the teachers moved from his office to the wake site, the condolences messages filled with tears that wept for him, his parents love for him. The relationship between a teacher and student is just that simple, teacher and student. At the end of the day, what a teacher wants to see is his students coming back to him, recognising him, knowing what he's done. And, he has seen it.

At 36 its too young to die, in the minds of most people. But there are no written rules in life. Life is a maze with the lights shut. Some get their way through, some dont.

Well, I will always remember him as the form teacher who

-Does his best for the class

-Shows the history videos tt hypnotises everyone to sleep

-Sways his hands around the whiteboard to explain a factor/reason in the SEQ

-LOVES branded stuff

-Has that huge number of soft toys in his car

-likes his spiky hair

-super duper hates gary phua

-Cares for us all =)

He's not gone, he's just living deep in our memories.

Bye Mr Tan.

Hmmmmmm...time really flies.

Its was last week when the common tests started and now, poofff, its over. Both concerts I had to attend were over, got my ipod touch and now, holidays. Tomorrow, start of 7 days in Tokyo at 11.55pm. See, this is what I mean, time "flying" .

And it does not feel like almost 2 yrs since I've left ZHSS. Probably 1 yr. The JC guys are going to NS pretty soon and Im going in too a year later. Ahhhh, then mostly Uni and then working life! See, after secondary sch, you've boarded a "bullet train" through life. I didnt understand this in the past, kids wanna be adults and adults wanna be kids. Now I certainly, clearly do. Being a kid is still the best. Who cares abt M18 movies? 1 movie for so much stress? Nah, not worth it. =P

Packed my luggage today, loaded my ipod with songs, charged the camera, changed currency, iron out some minor stuff and well, all set to go. Third plane ride in a year. I've been going away since the last Dec hols. China, China again and now Japan. Well, I would categorise them under...hmmm.. lets see......supernations?! Yeah, too much Red Alert. Oops.

Ahhh, the 3G iphone is out and its at the same price as the old model? Yeah, slimmer, more colour options, 3G obviously, GPS (Oh thats the only thing I would love), MobileMe and well, waiting for the review to know more about it. However, Im currently v v satisfied with my ipod touch. Did I mention I managed to add the whole wikipedia into it? Yeah. And I added this graph plot thing which plots yr graph, gives the max and min values etc etc etc. There's converter too, which converts anything from acceleration to mass. Not forgetting a dictionary combined with the meanings of Oxford's advanced learner's dictionary and Britannica concise. Ahh. this app called pianist too where you can....play the piano on the ipod touch! Its a whole world full of apps and I dont call it ipod touch if I had to, it would be named ipda touch. =)

Ahhh, off to check my checklist again.

See you guys, TC!

You've always been there, and forever will be. =)

Saturday, June 07, 2008

Wooo, finished CTs le..Though FOOP paper was a little tough. Hehe. But still quite okay.
Went down to Sim Lim to get my ipod touch!! Wah seriously, 1st and 2nd levels are for tourists. So ex! 590 for 16GB ipod touch? I got 1 at the top level, 575, including front and back screen protector! =D Lucky didnt jump in to buy at the second level. Whew. Anyway, I had loads of fun, well more like less of energy, from loading in the songs and the album art. But its super nice when its all done, trust me. Once you see it, you wont feel like leaving home without it.

Evening was reserved for the NJHB concert preview in the Ngee Ann Kongsi Performing Arts Theatre! Yeah Ngee Ann! Haha. By some form of confusion and miscommunication, I had to wait outside the HCI bus-stop for 40 mins for someone who was eating away at serene centre's mac. And who forgot my coke in the end. Haiz...lol... Decided to go in chop place first, but but but,the side gate didnt open. Gosh! Once tt happens, it means a super long long walk to the main gate and I think it took me 15 mins. Half soaked when I reached the outside of the auditorium. The concert was...NICE! Good selection of songs, creativity was certainly present in playing the pieces, overall sound was nice. Hmmmm.... almost nothing to pick about. And to re-iterate again, the songs that they played were my favs! The Jay Chou ones, I dont wanna miss a thing, Canon in F. NICE! It would be a pity not going. And it made me knew the meaning behind the Armageddon song I dont wanna miss a thing. So sad....sob sob sob...lol

And so after the concert we took a photo cos yeah, Jamie was rushing to do other stuff and erm, it was kinda late. Scaring Eunice was super fun on the way out, with the dark alleys. Jiayi and I sort of took turns to give a "BOO" to hype up the "atmosphere"? LOL.

Where the moments spent with you in the moment I treasure. I dont wanna close my eyes, I dont wanna fall asleep cos I miss you baby and I dont wanna miss a thing.Cos even when I dream of you,the sweetest dream will never do, cos I miss you baby, and I dont wanna miss a thing.

=D
