Today,is the 3rd day of school.Sad to say, I've not really integrated into school life yet. Maybe it takes a little more time for me, since I'm new and green to the school. Anyway, the lecturers and lessons were quite interesting and I had some knowledge of the terms before from my Dad who showed my some of his office work, since he is in the engineering line too. He said that all engineers would go through the same fundamentals in year 1 of engineering. True enough, I found out from my other cousins and they also went through the same thing either in polytechnic or university. Caught a glimpse of the fighter jet that was on display and I got to say that I really does take a lot of courage to be able to sit into a plane and fly it. A wrong move might cause your life because the aircraft is really very sophiscated. Got to know my lecturers and I'm quite glad they have loads of experience, judging from their age I suppose.

Took a walk around the CCA fiesta and most of the CCAs that I'd prefer were too demanding,as in loads of training days. In the end,I made up my mind to take up chess. I do hope that I can train up my patience and strategizing skills which will certainly be very useful in my working life.

My days in Polytechnic end at an averge of around 4pm to 5pm. Lessons starts at either 8am or 10am so not much of a difference from other institutions of higher learning.

Looking forward to my weekends for now because I can organise my stuff properly and get started on revision. As the saying goes, "A good headstart is half the battle won."

1 thing I've learnt though, which is the fact that experience is very important. Sometimes, what we say before we experienced something and what do we say after most of the time differs quite a fair bit, because we tend to make assumptions. This is definitely an important lesson to me.

Believe in your strengths, believe that they will bring you through your toughest of times.
