Ah, 1 reason Im proud of Singapore is that..........We have a GREAT SINGER called LIN JUN JIE!!!! Oh my, I never get tired listening to his songs over and over again. And everytime you listen to it, it sort of brings a refreshing feeling to you,as if you're hearing it for the first time. Most of his compositions are super nice, and theres 2 I particularly like, Xi1 Jie4 and Zi4 You2 Bu2 Bian4. Whoa, must listen everyday or not will $%#$#$%#$%..Hehe.
Alright, back to listening!! =)

Like so, the 3rd week of sch has started. Went to my new IS class today.Saw a few people from AE so at least not as bad as the other class where practically no one was in AE. Was assigned a new IS group today by my teacher and thankfully, my group mates look like those that would do work, well I hope time would prove this to be right. Laughed quite alot with this guy in by group who sits next to me but surprisingly I dun remember his name. Just that it sorts of sound smth like "tau pok"?! Yeah.
Rest of the day was fine. Super strong urge to sleep during the diploma plus programme cos the Ang-moh lecturer sounded very mono-tone and those stuff that he was teaching seemed quite peanuts to me and my friends since it was just the basics of JC maths.
Took 2 hours off my evening for a jog and this time, I tried a new jogging path. To be more specific, I added another route to my usual one. I ran down from TPY to Macritchie and took a rest at the bus-stop for about 15 mins and continued to Catholic High. At the starting 2km,my legs were like struggling to keep up with my normal pace and I had no choice but to slow down. Loads of inclines and very challenging on the thighs. However, theres this turning point man. After my 15 mins break, I continued with my run and somehow, I could run faster despite the slopes and also at a faster pace. Didnt feel that tired anymore and could continue for a longer distance. Wah if this practise can really push my stamina to greater heights I dun mind running everyday.
Really Really need a pair of ASICS NOW!

OHH, cant wait for Jay Chou's new album to be out. I hope its gonna be as nice as all the last few albums!
Went swimming today and the weather was good. Hot and sunny, just perfect for a swim. Swam about 20 laps before gg to eat the duck noodles at central.Wah the duck noodles there is simply fantastic, just love eating at tt stall.
Realised that there are so many doughnut shops popping up all over Singapore. First theres the Doughnut factory which has everyone queueing crazily over them. Then I dunno who comes next but yah,its sort of like the situation few years back when they were selling the then crazy bubble tea. So just let them fight it out for a larger piece of the consumer market and then, when prices start to lower, the consumers will benefit!! =)
Shucks, didnt practise my keyboard for a long time. Quite good with the right hand chords but super duper terrible with my left hand one. Perhaps its due to lack of practise or what but somehow my mind just cant "process" the left and right hand chords at the same time so in the end my hand ends up pressing all the wrong keys. Argh.
Whoo, and Im starting to have a grasp over my Computer programming skills. The commands are like flowing naturally in my mind and Im getting lesser errors when running the scripts. Lets just hope this lasts. =)
All the best to those taking their As chinese and also those having their OP coming up. JIAYOU! =)

Whooo, tiring day.
Just came back from a game of soccer with Marcus and his caregrp ppl.Wah Marcus's soccer is PRO! He dribbles the ball very well and his stepovers are nice man. ME? Yeah just crap. Though I was quite happy that I scored 2 goals, at the same time Im disappointed that my soccer skills were super yucky and in the 2nd game my performance was downright lousy. =( Ahhh well, I think the thing would be to play more yeah. =)
Yeah tmr's Fri, which means SAT is approaching. Whoohoo.. Time for a SHORT break. Wah everyone's like having hols now. Hmmmmm... I just can't wait for mine to come during the last 2 weeks of the year.
As I took the bus back home today, looked past ZHSS and really missed the sch. Esp. when you're so tired at night and then the bus is so quiet and the sch is so dimly lit and duh duh duh..So reminds me of those Fri NP trainings that ended late at night and we all would just happily walk out of the sch gate and go crazy on route to the bus-stop.
Oh my knee-cap is aching now and my shin feels as though its got a hairline crack on it (*hehe, soccer medical term).
Time to ZzZzZzZzZzZz..Bye guys.
Its been 3 years already. So much thoughts and feelings in these 3 years. No matter how, it taught me something called Faith and Belief.Even if it means waiting there for You to no avail. Even if all were to just turn into dust, I will certainly never regret possessing this feeling. =)

Ahhhh finally some time to blog.
Sch's quite fine now. At last, got my timetable SETTLED once and for all. Actually the Ang-Moh lecturer from the Dip.Plus prog was quite nice to schedule me in and out for the lectures and tutorials since there's a clash in my time-table. Felt so bad to trouble him with all the e-mails of notification regarding my next free time slot. Ok, never had a Ang-Moh for a lecturer before but this one here's quite ok and to be honest, though theres a bit of slang in his talking (well I mean which Ang-Moh doesn't??),he explains the theories quite clearly and evidently,he's proficient in his knowledge of maths. Noted that there's a slight difference in the teaching styles between Singapore teachers and my Ang-Moh lecturer. Singapore teachers in maths prefer to go through examples and how to go about solving the question, and gradually the students go by a system of going through the examples and using the example's solving methods to finish up their questions. On the other hand, this Ang-Moh lecturer here applies the theoretical method by making the student understand the whole "topic's" structure, goes about proofing the equations and then doing exercises. IMO, I find that this method is much more useful. To put it in an analogy, Singaporean teachers are like telling you how the past leaders did this problem in this way and so you're suppossed to do it somewhat like this and blah blah blah. However, that Caucasian guy's approach would be to analyse the whole situation, do basic definitions before diving into the solutions.Aiyah all in all,his method ROCKS! Too bad he's from New York, not London, otherwise I would've asked him if he was a fellow Manutd supporter. Hehe.
Recently got a new pair of Sennheiser earphones! Lost the cover of my Samsung one and the absence of that minor part alr makes the whole thing unable to be used. Oh well, the bass of the Sennheiser one is not bad and the whole 3D sound in the system sounds quite good, esp.when listening to F.I.R's rock music. Wah I tell you man, never wanted to drop it after listening to all the rock and bass F.I.R songs.COOL!
Can someone move the hour hand of the clock faster so that we get closer and closer to Christmas? Thanks.

Ok, finally after a long and reluctant wait school has finally started for 2nd semester.
To begin with, timetable clash.Had to move to the various departments and print out loads of "evidence" for the admin person to show that I actually had a timetable clash and to amend it asap. What a nice way to start school.
Then, the troublesome process of purchasing books. Well, only 1 troublesome thing, which is to wait in the super long queue. To put it simply, Im not that patient enough to stand in queues for a long time because its just a waste of time. Oh well, God blessed me today by providing me with NO QUEUE when the lecturer told us to try our luck downstairs and see if we can purchase any textbooks. Whew, another problem solved.
Looked at my timetable and so many many "foreign-to-me" modules included inside. Mostly all electronics stuff and programming. In addition to all these, theres an advanced engineering mathematics course that I've to take for 3 years which I was eligible for. And certainly, with the note that its been "revised" by NUS, I doubt its going to be easy. Oh and the tests are set by NUS too so what do you think man. ARGH.
Did some computer programming today and all of a sudden it set me thinking again if I'd chosen the wrong education path for this stage of my life. Haiz, regretted not putting a JC man, esp. such a fun JC like CJC. But now, I'd just have to bear with all these and pull through. I hope that once I get into uni everything will be much better. Oh and I hope I dont have to carry a laptop and go to the aircraft's cockpit to do command scripts to the equipment there. I would just open the cockpit window and jump down suan4 le4 ba1. =P
1 year ago during this period of time it was my graduation ceremony and now,its that of the batch after mine. I still remember how they would talk to me when I told them how much I'd missed school and now,its like my turn to do so. How puzzling it is to see humans falling into the situation they gave others advice on.Well, its all part and parcel of life.
And to sum up my hols experience. Though tiring,I've learnt alot at macs, as in how to do basic household chores and to learn customer service. That I think would have fulfilled the main purpose mum set when she sent me there to work. Fortunately no hols job for this coming December hols cos Im spending like 10 days in Shanghai?! YESH!
Lovers of Chinese music out there, you've gotta listen to F.I.R's latest album and in particular, this song called Yue4 Ya2 Wan1. Its fabulous and I love the mix of instruments they place into the song. 30 repetitions of that song would be considered quite normal. =)
GOAL!

Ahhh.. countdown to the number of days to sch re-open. Seriously so looking forward to the end of year trip to Shanghai because I guess I can like splurge on all those cheap MP3s,dvds and probably a PSP. Mum was alright with the idea of splurging there simply because its worth to buy such electronic goods at cheap prices there.
My opinion has not changed and that there are many snobbish Singaporeans among the population. I mean, even though most Singaporeans have found good paying jobs, or rather, not bad paying ones, there is certainly no need to look down on those who are of a lower class. What the heck is wrong with working at mac? If Bill Gates wore a mac uniform would you still shout and rant at him for not bringing your fries on time. As much as we would love to pride ourselves on being in a better position than others, please do remember in your hearts that we cannot afford to be arrogant. Going by an example, if there were no so called banglas clearing yr rubbish, would you love to sleep with the cockroaches and lizards? No one clearing the trays at the hawker centre, would you be spending 20 mins clearing everything before settling down to eat? If you were greeted with an empty fast food restaurant then dont you think that the name has to be changed to a NO-FOOD restaurant.See people, the more you look down on others, when others think that they're useless and stupid, they would be reluctant to work and lets see then who will serve you "kings and queens" . Case studies has shown that its important to have manpower, theres never a successful 1 man show. If all the shipyard workers protest, who will deliver your cargo? Sometimes we have to acknowledge the fact that everyone's good in a career aspect, be it handling human resources or cleaning the trays. No one knows everything, everyone only knows something. Well Im saying all these because a customer pissed me off until the point where I had almost wanted to shout the hokkien vulgarities at her. Im not very confident of my service attitude but having compliments from some customers do put me in a very good spotlight,so I dont understand what the heck did that b*tch had to pick on.
The cycles goes on, and on and on..

Another 1 week more to the re-opening of sch, which is SIAN.Haiz.
So many ppl finished their promos alr and are claiming their rights to freedom now. Lol. Ok, when they're free, its my turn to study alr. Well, not unfair actually since I was having fun while they were mugging. Hmmmm...
Went out on Weds morning for a swim, jog and a game of basketball and soccer since its my off-day. In the night, wah shiok man. Outing with Xiao-Han after his sch. Suppossed to meet him at Orchard at 6 then since he was a little late so walked around the Popular there. Went into this shop there called Harris and there was like a 20% off the books! Oh oh oh, and there were $8 offers. So bought a John Grisham's book since I heard someone mention before that it was nice. Yet to read it. Xiao-han came and we walked the whole of orchard to find a suitable restaurant until we walked till marina square. I dun even believe we made it tt far. Like about 1 hr of walking non stop, in addition to my full day of sporting activities. Whoo. Ate Kenny Roger's there and later on, more walking to the One Fullerton and we sat by the river-side. Guess what. Xiao-han said that he was itching for some alcohol and so we went to a open-concept river-side bar. Took a look at the menu and GUESS WHAT, the drinks there were named "blow-job","broke-back mountain",slippery ni**le","hot mama","exotic" and loads of cannot be named kinda names. Lol. And we were like laughing so madly over it. So in the end we called a Singapore Sling and a Brokeback mountain. Tasted not bad but alcohol content was about 40% since there was vodka present. Xiao-han said that he was going to get a "blow-job" next time, well not literally. ROFL. And if you ask how did we get in there with our age, well, both of us just said "yeah we are, that's for sure" when the lady asked us if we were 18 and if made us less doubtful when Xiao-Han paid by card. Im seriously going back there again to get the Singapore Sling cocktail cos it tastes fantastic. The pricing is nice too, $15 a cup, or rather, a small shot which practically means about 250 ml of a drink.
As usual, during the Champions league matches at 2-3am,I fell asleep instead of waking up to catch the matches. But it was nice goals and yeah certainly surprising results for some teams. But who cares, as long as Manutd pave their way in, nothing else matters as much. Bleah.
Oh and I read that Sony's gonna cut down their PS3 prices!! Which means, time for 1. But its going to be around Christmas when they do the slash and by then I would alr be in Shanghai and thus, miss out on all the discounts. Never mind, I doubt the pricing would jump back up again. At most buy during the Chinese New Year season lorh. =)

Ok, the hols are going to end soon in a flash though I still have 2 weeks of it left.Hmmmm... its kinda reluctant to go back to sch. Oh well it happens every hols esp. the longer duration ones.
Spent quite a lot these few days. Bought a FBT shorts, new Nike series soccer ball, official England away jersey and a casio watch. In total, its just a bomb man but I've never had so much retail therapy before. Ahhhh. at least the $ spent was on quite some worthy stuff and they were on huge discounts too.
Champions league football coming up and the best thing about it falling during the hols is that you can stay up late to catch all the top-class actions from the best teams in Europe!! Yeah, sort of like a David VS Goliath kinda situation in most matches. And this weds its MANUTD VS roma.Hope its a thrashing kinda win and not the close shave 1-0 type of victory.
Saw kennedy on my usual jog the other day outside the RI bus-stop. Had a kind of premonition that I would see him but it wasn't strong. Actually, I was just wondering how kennedy could get top 10 for RJ's cross country since I jogged past the school and then, yeah there he was sitting at the bus-stop with his huge blue water bottle. We gave each other a 10 second stare before letting out an "eh why you here?" Lol. And kennedy was super hardworking because not many people were left in the school and at the bus-stop but he had stayed back to ask the teacher some qns before the promos. Oh yeah and he stood by his "theory" of "its important to consume lots of water daily". Haha. And the only thing that makes him recognisable is his hairstyle that has never changed over 5 years.
Jiayous to those who are hanging on to have the final victory over the promos Hang in there!
PS: Denise, you dun need any luck, give it to those who needs it more than you do, they'll be thankful for that. LOL.
