Common tests are looming soon. But well, since its testing on the starting few chapters, I guess it should be quite alright. I just need more time management to complete the questions on time.
Saw quite a few old classmates recently. Some at Ngee Ann, some at the bus-stops outside their schools and a few at public locations. Its nice to see how they've changed and how they carried on with a new chapter in their college lifes. No matter what, I've to thank the Lord for allowing me to meet up with them.
Nth to do+Reading some articles=Gaining some interest in reading!! I've never fell in love with reading, something regarded by me as a boring chore. But now, its starting to build up and yeah, reading's actually quite a nice hobby. But well, I'm still very fussy over my choice of reading materials. =(
Ok,tt's about all. Take-care people and enjoy your hols for those in college. =)

Came back an hour ago from Jalan Besar stadium. As mentioned in my earlier posts, I went there to catch SAF FC VS Home United, and Home United won with 2 goals, leaving SAF with 2 red cards in hand. Tiredness had overwhelmed me so I didnt really notice the small ongoings of the match. However, the atmosphere was some sort of nice, with the cheers almost continuously ongoing. Lets hope that I'll have a chance to watch Manutd live in action against some strong team. By then, nothing can overtake the excited-ness of my mind.
This week,I went for a total of like 4 jogging sessions? This might sound so "easy-peasy" to jogging pros but to me, its the most I've ever gone through. I love jogging parallel to the small slope after the RJC bus-stop. The air there seems to be quite fresh though there are tons of cars travelling at the side road. Its so amusing to see the birds trying to climb their way up the slope using their small tiny legs and when unable to do so, they some sort of get fustrated and start to flap their wings. Another thing to note is that I've gotten a little fascinated with the clouds there. I know that clouds are everywhere but the clouds there seems to be some sort of special? There's this once I saw this huge one hovering slowly across the sky and it resembled some sky-palace. Anyway, I realised that jogging after a downpour really makes me refreshed and cool. During life's paces, we always seem to neglect the minute things around us. Oh well.
Heard from Mum that "Forever Love" by Wang2 Li4 Hong2 is actually an extract of an old song. Not sure how true is that but Mum could anticipate the lyrics quite well though she heard it for the first time. That song still remains in me as my favourite song and I will use it as the main theme song for my wedding. See, how far ahead I'm thinking. HAHA. But truely, that song really ROCKS!
2 more weeks on to the Common tests then its the term break!! A short 2 weeks break.Never mind, I'll look forward to the 7 weeks one in September. =)

I simply cant believe it..In the short span of 2 days, I've called 3 times for fast-food delivery meals. On Sat night, Mac-delivery. Sun afternoon, to celebrate Mother's day at home, KFC delivery for lunch. Mum didnt get enough of fast-food and for dinner, Canadian Pizza delivery. Oh my, too much fast food. Now, I can memorize the style most of the customer service officers on the delivery hotline employ. Firstly, they begin with asking you your contact number and address details before going on futher to take your order. At the end of it all, they'd summarize your order in a very detailed manner before telling you the estimated delivery time. Hmmm..perhaps I can work there too during the hols. HAHA.
There's this new Lin Jun Jie song called "Zi4 You2 Bu2 Bian4" Cant seem to find the dwl file for it. Anyhow, heard it over the radio broadcast a few hours back and gosh, its lovely. I mean, the notes all sound very compatible when played together. Even though I know nuts about music,I can hear from it that its a good one. Afterall, music has to be felt mainly by the heart. If I'm right about it, this song is the theme/sub-theme song of one of the upcoming movies called "Dong1 Hai3 Zhan4". Watched a little part of the trailer when I was catching Spider-man 3 last week. I guess that the whole thing would revolve around prawns, sharks, fish(obviously since its in the sea), perhaps lobsters? Sounds a little like finding nemo. I suppose there might be a little sentimental element kinda thing in it, since the theme song carry does.

That 5 minutes was a total display of elegance and true inner beauty
How she went down to pick up something so insignificant to others
And was never replied with a word of thanks
How she spoke in her sweet voice in convincing others
With some who do not even bother
How she smiled endearingly to those she asked
But was given some stern faces in return
Just that short time many things were said, observed and felt
Because in a whole sea of faces
Its tough finding mine
Lets hope fate seals us
=)

"Xuan2 Lv4" rocks man. I mean, its a must hear for me everyday on my way to school. Cant believe that Lin Yu Zhong has a song name called Lin Yu Zhong(Out in the rain) too.Anyway, surprised that mum wanted me to upload the song Beautiful Love to her ipod. She said that the song was being played during one of the Cable TV advertisements and she somehow liked it. Hmmmm...
Dad brought home 4 Home united VS SAF FC tickets just now. Since SMRT is one of the sponsers, he went through some e-mailing to some other department and got the tickets. Ah, I'd rather he exchanged those 4 for the upcoming Manchester United soccer tour in Malaysia. But that would certainly be wishful thinking on my part. Since theres so much argument about Manchester United not being welcome to play in Malaysia during the period of the Asian cup (If I'm not wrong), then why not come to Singapore!! YEAH!! But again, I seriously doubt its possible. =(
Getting a little darker skin tone these days. Perhaps due to the increase in my number of jogs.
Went through some of the stuff in my drawer just now and discovered that I had not used my contact lens for quite some time. Well, maybe I'm just too lazy to put it in my eye and redo it over and over again since I'm quite certain I will not succeed the first time round. However, due to practical reasons, with money being one of them =), I hope to wear them soon.

Lin Jun Jie is simply a fantastic singer. The songs that he writes are also very erm...melodious. It really keeps me running on and on during my weekly jogging sessions. Talking about jogging, I've started on a new jogging route.I run from my home to the ex-Braddell Westlake Sec, cross the overhead brigde to RJ, up RI, then to the Bishan Stadium. Over there, I would complete my 3 sets of push-ups, crunches and jumping jacks. Let's just hope this works. Anyway, its very quiet along the route, with only the cars travelling along the road and some Raffles students around.
Just received an e-mail on some pictures.Had the intention to delete it at first but took a little peek at it before I decide to do so. That peek prevented me from deleting it and brought me back to reality. The harsh reality. The e-mail consisted of some pictures of people in China who are suffering and how hard their life there is. One particular picture had a man carrying some coal on his back, with a straw basket containing all of the coal. Didnt feel much about the picture initially but upon reading the captions, everything came pouring out. The captions said that the man was only 17 years old and was made to carry 20 kilos of coal over a distance of 10km. For this, the pay was a dollar per trip. I simply cant bring myself to imagine it. A dollar a trip. How is he going to survive like that, how would he be able to make ends meets. Moreover, he is just a 17 year old. In Singapore, most think that 17 year olds are enjoying their youth, hanging around the mall with their friends, playing online games, catching the latest blockbuster. Who'd imagine a 17 year old do such a job. Come to think of it, Singapore's poor can be considered quite fortunate in the eyes of the poor in the foreign lands. How lucky are we. What are our sufferings compared to theirs. We complain about having education in well equipped schools but others are moaning over the lack of education. How saddening it is to know of such events happening around the globe.
On a lighter note, the weekends are just around the corner. YEAH!!
Just waiting..

I must really cut down on my food intake and shed off at least 5 kilos. I can feel the weight that is being added on me and if this continues, I guess I can kiss goodbye to my medical examination. So the only solution would be to exercise more and perhaps try and substitute my usual lunch diet for apples? Yeah, I'd never imagine I had to come down to making such a decision regarding a diet. HAHAHA
With last night's win over manchester city, it would only require Manutd a point more to raise the trophy. Lets hope that Chel-ski draws with Arsenal, so we can lift the title tonight, maybe at midnight yeah!!

Oh gosh.Taking a bus to sch in the past costs about 45 cents. Now, the "rules have changed". It will cost me $1.10 to take a bus from Toa Payoh to Bukit Timah, where my school is located.Heard from some other people that its all adult fare now. Hmmmm..Then why did they still issue us with the card? I mean, people of the same age as us in JC only pay 45 cents? Are poly students really that different? I guess I need to get the concession pass soon. Then I shall save myself the trouble of climbing the slope twice everyday. But to put it in another way, I'm losing my only source of daily exercise. And talking about the subject of exercise, I've not been doing so for the past few months. Simply because in poly theres no PE and also I'm just too lazy to initiate my own exercise plan. Guess I have to snap out of that not exercising thing soon. =) Otherwise, I would have loads of stuff awaiting me in NS. =X
Whooo, the weekends are finally here. Time to revise my work yeah. And of course to take more naps. ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz..
Heard from mum that she might be planning a trip to Hong Kong soon. Yeah! She said probably around the September holidays then if all goes well, we're going to Japan next March.Yups, in half a year's time I'm visiting like 2 disneylands. HAHAHA...
Paint my love of a thousand words..

Oh my, He Yao Shan's new song Yong Bao is surely a super duper good song. I like the way she progresses from a slow high pitched tune and I must say that I'm impressed with her ability of being able to hold her vocal cords so high for so long. The mix of piano and some other instruments are very soothing too and it sets off the reflective kind of mood.I would rate it a 9 out of 10 yeah!!
Anyway, recently I found out that I'm quite hooked onto reading?? Yeah, never once was I a person who could sit there for even an hour to read. But well,I dont really prefer fiction stuff because my brain would keep telling me that its like "all fake". Some how or rather I'd prefer something that can set me thinking and really make a difference in my thinkings and perceptions towards life.
Theres this article in the TODAY paper today regarding a man who studied in Yale and Harvard but still chose to be a monk. Yup, both are top universities in the world. I love the sentence he mentioned, that every moment is a life lesson. That really coincides with my thinking too. As what I'd always believe, there's a lesson to be learnt everywhere, its whether or not you are receptive to learning it. I'm not promoting religion here but its really human curiosity to want to know more about what has been in our minds for such a long period of time. And these questions have no definite right or wrong answers. It just depends on our level of acceptance towards it.
Let me show you the shape of my heart..

Meaning. That's what I've found. I have finally found a meaning to what I'm doing now. The contentment that I hope to achieve. Nothing ever comes easy. Good things do not drop from the sky just like that. We have to fight for it. I'm experiencing a shedding of my old-self and to integrate into my new found "life". Up till now, its very satisfying for me mentally to know more about the reason behind the things that I am doing. That's what I call "brain food",the things that calms your brain down and gives you the kind of joy nothing else can ever give you. Never before in my life have I reached such a stage and with my directions and aims clear ahead of me, I will complete the challenge with the best of my ability. Afterall, the tougher the road, the sweeter the joy of completion.Well actually, should'nt we be equally contented with everything we've ever achieved,no matter how small it is?Hmmmmm...food for thought.
