Wah shiok shiok..Today sortie 2 with Baldev. He let me do my own external checks sia...Shiok shiok. Then he came in, I showed pre-start, he guided me for a little after start and stuff and yeah, I can do radio calls liao!! Whoo.. And today he was super lame lar.. The clouds were not really up in the sky during the morning so he was like saying "see the clouds not really up yet cos they're still eating their breakfast"..like..DIAO. But overall quite nice flight today..Hehe. hope to tio Baldev more often. And saw 2 yjc students today asking me abt the flying club and yeah, I was also like them when I first entered and within a span of 2 weeks, we sorta knew the club operations like quite well liao.. And the girl somemore ask me for my number k, dun siao siao hor..!!LOL

Went for EEPS for like 1hrs plus and go home liao. Our teacher is super slack man but at the same time he really teaches what's impt to us and so this is what I call efficency, transmitting over the important information in the shortest possible time.

And erm ystd mum came home with a LE COQ SPORTIF bag for me!! Haha. She said there's this sale at Kaki Bukit and the LE COQ SPORTIF bags were like going for $20?!?!?!?! Yeah that's what you'll nv see in OG or The Wallet Shop. YEAH!!

Today went jogging at bishan..same usual route.Then wanted to walk around to shop for any new year clothes and saw my SYFC mentoring session 3 alumni!! MARCUS from AJ de!! He super nice, friendly and funny guy lar.. He working at the giordano shop at J8. So went up to him and talk kok and yeah, he told me to sms him my flying progress. See sucha nice senior! =D But how to sms man when I dun even receive any sms-es from SYFC?!

Sch's workload getting worse.Dun think poly no stress k. Amtl test tmr..Maths tutorials to complete..MOL to finish..Ael practical sheet to finish..Comp programming test this fri..Dip plus stuff to finish..Ael and Maths exams after CNY..So tell me not stressful ar. Pls lorh we are too k, it all just depends on the course you're in. Sian ar I feel like my eyes are going to shut down any moment. Like "piak" and I'll be snoozing away...

Ok seriously Im gg to slp alr soon, cant take it liao..dunno y today sch so tiring sia..nv do much things just revision only can wanna slp liao...

Okay like not blogged for so many days alr...

First flight was ok, though my instructor was a little attitude at first..Screwed up my external checks TOTALLY!! I didnt expect such a poor perfomance from myself. But the flying part was ok. So in the end, got a 4/6 for external checks, and a 5/6 for flying so overall still 4 even though most of the flying sections were graded 5?! Nvm. And I heard no one ever got a 6 before de so I guess 5 should be considered not bad. =D

And did I mention? I went back to the SYFC for 3 times last week, the longest ever man.

Now, there's the introduction of this towering machine tt sucks $ out of your daddy/mummy's card placed at the top of yr car's dashboard. No logical sense for the machine to be there and it seems to be operating very soon. And with the introduction of these machines everywhere on the island, haiz, it seems hard to maintain a vehicle now...

And prices are going up everywhere. Sooooo ex lar.. Ba gua now $50?! I didnt know our piggies got so expensive. I know Im not an econs student but I was just thinking... if those bosses sell more than what their products are worth, in other words, somewhat inflation cos more demand than supply, then wont the rich-poor gap be extended more? Poor gets financial assistance, poor pay more taxes,back to square 1? Its all just maths, the theory of taking and giving. Haiz. I just got news that the machines I mentioned above are increasing their intake by another 50 cents more cos they just got hungrier. You know when CNY comes, ppl eat more during the festive season, so these machines "eat" more "(tt thing everyone in S'pore loves and we can find it in the bank)" too...

I was just hearing Zhang Hui Mei's song Wo3 Wu2 Suo3 Wei4..Very nice old song and her voice is very good. I can remember tt drama channel 8 did with this song of hers as the theme song. Benedict goh was in the group of lead actors too. Love this song man =D

Okay let me tell you Mervyn's day today.Trust me,you wont like it.

He left his flight reference cards and student pilot license under the dip plus classroom table and the ang-moh locked it before he could even rush downstairs to retrieve it. That made him very nervous and he sourced around for the master/common key to open the room. Luckily at the end of it, when he was about to return to lessons and give up finding it, his ComT teacher Ms Angilee Shah had the key he wanted and thus he got his stuff. Nope, theres more.

He skipped his 1 hr AEL tutorial to go for SYFC Simulator training and guess what. His friend Alex called him half-way through the journey and told him the teacher would be starting lessons soon and where is he? Well, Mervyn just replied truthfully saying that he had to go for flying lessons, which is the truth. The teacher then shunned that "so called excuse" away and told him not to drop anything when he flies over Ngee Ann, which is like...CRAP!

Thinking that he would finally be able to make it for SYFC Simulator, he was happy even though it meant he had to skip a lesson. But dear Mervyn, its not yet the end. He reached the flying club and studied his checks for an hour in the lounge,where Mr Hi came in and told him not to be so stressed cos Mr Hi has been observing him in the lounge for an hour memorising the checks. So Mervyn calmed down a little and went to the Simulator room to check what's happening. So in he went and he saw this very pretty RJC girl called Elizabeth who was talking to Mervyn's friend cos Elizabeth just registered for the course and wanted to know more. Mervyn always talks to pretty girls. =P

Then then then,lets fast forward to the Simulator part. Horrified, Mervyn screwed up his checks?! How can it be...he studied an hour for it. KAN CHIONG LORH!! Luckily Mr Siva was quite in a good mood and he told Mervyn to be more confident with his checks and Mervyn seriously was super pissed with himself for screwing up the checks.

Last but not least, it had to happen when he was taking the bus back. There was an accident at Ang Mo Kio and the bus Mervyn was in got delayed for half-an-hour WITHOUT MOVING!! Sucha waste of time.

All in all, Mervyn didnt like his day..

My new K77oi is so nice to use and its certainly worth its so called $0 price tag. LOL. Cos promotion period. 3.2 mega pixels. Yay, even though its not a lot but its quite a catch for a phone its price. Plus I love the msg-ing interface, it sorta new to me, as in I've nv used such a surface before but the touch feels good, not too soft nor hard. =D

Some "ORGANISTAION" is surely very screwed up. Inproper plannings, though I know its not really very easy to plan. And some parts of the schedule are super inappropriate. Chronological order is also very "unexplainable" with logic sense. All in all, its just all super wrong. So in order to get tt "piece of paper" to drive that certain special aerial vehicle, its 50% effort, 50% luck.

And Im going to the "ORGANISATION" tomorrow.

Didnt really study much for the past few days. =P

Sun morning was spent at kallang leisure park. Aunt told me tt there got sale for sportslink.Erm but the stuff there weren't to my liking unfortunately so went to eat subway in the end. Then dad felt that it was too boring to go home in the afternoon so we went off to Suntec for a walk. Walked till about 2 plus, then home to complete my C programming project. At around 5, off to Queensway to eat the XO fish noodles which was quite bitter and the XO's presence was quite strong. Still to early to go home, so since IMM was nearby and first 3 hs parking was free, yeah you should know the rest of it. =)

Ahhh just hang in there for 2 more weeks and school will be over soonnn!!!!! But its not going to be a nice CNY cos gotta study for exams...=(

Okay if sweet talking = hardworking, then I think I've been putting in enough effort. Hehe. I tried to sweet-talk the auntie at the SYFC today and since she was in quite a good mood, I tried.....a "heavier dosage". LOL. In the end it all sounded like it was a tok cok session to get her to put my name firmly down for next wed's last sim slot which I predict will be overseen by wong cc YET AGAIN. AUNITE PLS PLS PLS GIMME MY SIM SLOT!!! So we spent like 5 hours totally in the CAI room doing our wings 1 topic on aerodynamics. Sucha super dry topic. At the start it was like super enthu and as time ticked by everyone broke down liao. LOL. Some went for early lunch and others just slept time away. Me,Herman and Theddaus were like tokking cok over at our corner and laughing at one another. Read the papers and still got super bored. Herman's progress was damn slow and was still at stalling when almost everyone's completed?! Yeah. So me and thed got so bored that we took out our mp3 and compared. Changed the earphones and plug here plug there. LOL. Ahhhh.my sennheisser still rawks!!

Then after flying went for keyboard.The 1h bus+train ride was for me to switch completely from aircraft aerodynamics to chords and notes. Today's piece was easy, just repetition of 8 exact bars and a last 4 bars of "conclusion". Left hand chords were quite easy too. Ltr on went off to see my first bball match! =D

Alright I've got maths tutorials, MOL, c prog proj and AMTL to study for. Arr...there, my sunday just flew past.

Alright I HATE the feeling of having too much time because I cant just book a flight or sim! Okay better dun say alr otherwise blood will REALLY BOIL!

All of a sudden ppl in my class like tuan jiaw and jason are hooked onto this song called "Xin Bu Liao Qing". Erm its an old song, really old one but I think its nice and just when I downloaded it tuan jiaw was like msning me saying " eh merv got the song xin bu liao qing anot?" Alright....lol..And Tuan Jiaw really has got a good talent in singing hokkien songs? Yeah he was entertaining the CO-OP lao-aunties with his whole "collection" of hokkien songs and we were of course standing at a side laughing at all the "quite familiar" hokkien terms. Super hilarious! And tuan jiaw you still asked me if I wanted to pursue a career in the comedy line?! LOL.

Tmr's last day of the sch for the week. Today's NP open house. Erm alot of pretty girls.LOL. I suppose more will visit tmr and on sat since there's like no more sch for the week le.

Im gambling now. Seriously, I am. S**C is just like a gamble. Imagine if you've chosen it as your CCA and due to a "lack of talent" or "no enough time" reason and you get kicked out, there goes your CCA grade.Sometimes its not your fault even if you've placed 100% effort in it. You might even lose out to someone who goes for the computer club once a week in terms of CCA points. Next, the part on time. You've to REALLY REALLY sacrifice some time out to obtain the morning slots, even if it means missing 1 or 2 lessons and still not getting de-barred. Then,there comes the placing of time slots for your fli**ts. You've to try and see which slots are the ones that no one books and pray REALLY REALLY HARD that it just does not get taken away. Gee, if they wanted to kick us out, why not do it from the start. I seriously do not understand the rationale behind who goes first for the f**ght and who doesn't. Im still waiting for my SIM 2, still waiting.

Today ALMOST screwed up EECAD test by a damn damn careless mistake. Luckily the lecturer was nice enough to reject my work and make me re-submit again cos I BLOODY HECK SUBMITTED THE WRONG FILE! I was damn pissed with myself at tt point of time, seriously. Just 1 wrong move like that could just make me repeat the whole module again next semester when I know like everything in the whole module alr?! God's Blessings.

Microsoft flight Sim's missions are super duper fun!! So many missions lar and its certainly feels cool when you have to accomplish an aim or something in tt mission. IT RAWKS!!

Tmr's AEL lab-test then EECAD test....Yay, after this week, a little more to go to exams and then 7 week break!! Its like so fast lar, just finished common tests only then exams alr then yr 2.Hmmmm...

Yup, so 9 to 4 today was dedicated to SYFC.Had the Departure and Rejoin procedures brief for a start.Wong cc.YES,wong cc man so its like those in SYFC will know the teaching style.At the beginning I was quite into the radio telephony calls part and not bad, understood quite alot. In the end, at abt the 3/4 mark, I was starting to get bored because he was moving as such a fast pace and he couldn't pronounce his words that hv a letter C properly and tt hypnotised me. It was then I realised many around are alr gg to FALL ASLEEP! Ok, call me the last survivor then. LOL

Then joked around with Gary,Herman and Theaddus during break and we laughed at some...erm....cant be mentioned topic. Anyway, it was just damn funny lar and we kept adding more and more to the joke. LOL. Theaddus looked quite like rayson without the specs and he definitely had the cheeky face on him. Chiong-ed thru EOC CAI today and yay, no more ABS on my progress chart!! Hope they gimme sim 2 next week and then F-EEEE-RRRR----LIIII-INNNN liao! =D.

The mentoring session with the alumni was fun.Gary and I got this guy called marcus and we like talked crap all the way cos he asked us" know anot? Aiyah you all so pro know liao right, ok good lets move on" and so we moved on and on and on and in e end ended up talking rubbish in the cockpit.And....me and marcus have the same pri instructor,RAMAN! So he gave some tips on how to erm...erhermm...you know. Lol. I gg to do some preparations soon. And kind marcus left me his number so anything I dunno abt raman, can sms him. LOL.

Ok then to keyboard class next. And guess. It was still early when I reached PS cos dad drove so decided to walk around for a while and saw tt Theaddus again! Like... OK.Forgot alot of stuff abt keyboard alr and so took a whole lesson to catch up on everything. DAMN!

In conclusion, the whole day today was all about CO-ORDINATION!

Finished compro at like 7pm today and the feeling sucked. The test was one of the toughest I'd ever had in NP. Dont even feel used to writing command scripts on the paper! And the scenario they'd gave us was tough too. Before that we had compro lessons and since it ended at 4 which is way before the start of the test at 6, marcus and I decided to go down to macs to have our "early" dinner and I also wanted to destress by people-watching at the King Albert Park macs (of couse indirectly Im trying to say I wanna go there see pretty and cute girls lar, then see guys meh.lol.) The red bean pie that macs has is quite nice and it's a different kind of thing from the apple pie altogether.

Tmr's there's like SYFC from 9 to 6 suppossedly and if my kind alumni seniors are to finish the aircraft checks self practise early, then I suppose I can make it for keyboard class after missing like abt 2-3 lessons?! Ah,but next sat's better, ten to threeeeeeee.........=D

Seriously, Microsoft Flight Simulator X is VERY fun.Tried 1 mission on landing the private jet and crashed for like 5 times even though I did mental calculations of the approach the plane should take. And of course, since failure is the road to success, I succeeded for the 5th time! And the 6th time too! Super nice landing. Those watching me play it was like "aiyah so easy de the landing blah blah blah blah".Lol. This is what I call talk big. When given the control stick, they cant even keep straight in air towards the airport, needless to say to do a landing with cross-wind factors coming into play.

Came home quite early today so went to on the tv since I was quite bored. And for the first time I saw Yu Le Bai Fen Bai which is like....erm....not bad! Quite funny and stuff but in the end I still prefer Wo Cai Wo Cai Wo Cai Cai Cai because wu zhong xian is a much better host. =D

It was much better with you around, because everyday's that suspenseful.

Ah finished Sim 1 today. Erm thgt Mr Hi was taking me for it but in the end wong cc took over. =(. Lucky nv scold here scold there. But well I think Im quite ok until the pre-start checks because I've quite properly memorised the stuff on the control panel. =D

Dwl Microsoft Flight Simulator X demo on the net and its FUN! Saw it at the airport duty-free shop during my Shanghai Trip and alr wanted to buy liao but dun want cos must carry it on the whole trip. So so so.......I think I might make a trip down to Sim Lim square this sun to see if they have it! If its too expensive then I prob wait till the march hols when I go to the china trip with the school and buy it from the airport. Then again,its quite ex there. =(

Sho sho sho many tests coming up soon. Its like just the second week of school and everyone's like preparing for the final exams alr which is right after chi new year! Compro test this fri at an untimely 6-7.30, EECAD next week and I can imagine myself blowing off cos I cant 100% auto-route,EEPS test might be coming up soon. AEL lab-test next week.AMTL test on the 30th. Argh, so much stuff to do. I would gladly enjoy my march hols even if it means going to syfc everyday because it beats having to worry and study for endless tests. =(

Tmr's NP open house and I can expect loads of ppl visiting our campus. NP's advertising power wasn'tthat strong this year and guess what we have an SP open-house advertisement right outside our bus-stop!!! Its like putting a raffles open-house poster ourside HCI. LOL. Ahh nvm Im alr in the sch liao so yeah. I hope the EEPS teacher has smth to do in the open house so can go play sokk-er with marcus. So long nv played liao.

Yayy, finally SYFC sms-ed me for SIMULATOR 1. Even though its just sim 1, at least Im not like the last in the whole thing so its a thing off my mind TEMPORARILY! And today's the last AMTL lab for the semester alr!

A full pot carries its full capacity where-ever it goes. However, even if a cracked pot carries only half its capacity to the same destination, it leaves a trail behind =D

YIPEE!! Finished with IAC presentation today. Quite happy with the presentation though the teacher made an attempt to question our hypothesis. But well, all seems alright in the end and I think our group's presentation is the best in the class =P cos we have the video interviews, survey slips and most of the evidence we need to prove our case right. =D





Been quite obsessed with Guang Liang's new song "Yan Huo" and Luo ZhiXiang a.k.a xiao zhu's new song "Wo Bu Hui Chang Ge" Wah super like the "Wo Bu Hui Chang Ge" 's MV and its quite....erm....sad bah even though I dont know what the ending is all about =X Lol.

AHHHH...I still super MISS SHANGHAI!!! =(

FINALLY!! at 2310 hrs last night, I officially completed my AMTL report. Yay. And Im quite satisfied with it, in the sense that I think its quite well done and stuff.

Today was also another day with a hectic schedule. Went to some old folks home with my IAC grp ppl to interview the staff nurse. And if you guessed it, you're right, Im the guy who interviewed them and the rest video-ed the process. Not that they're slacking away,but no one sort of dared to go and interview the nursing panel. And so I posed the questions and stuff. It sorta felt like a talking session to me. LOL. Went around the home to look at their facilities and how the old people went about in the home. I should say its really boring to be kept in there and we cant imagine the amount of boredom the elderly feel when they're in there. Proceeded to novena square ltr on to eat our brunch and tau koon said my interview-ing skills were quite pro.HAHAHAHA.

Now, Im left with like some bits and pieces of stuff to do only and it feels really different when you have loads of stuff to do compared to when you only have some. =D

SUPER SHAG TODAY!!!

Morning had CAEM common test.Didnt study for it =X so went there only could do like 3/4 of the paper then the whole time was thinking about how to plan the schedule for my week alr.

To the SYFC after the common test and rushed through the straight and level CAI. Lunch after tt and then back to the CAI room to finish my stuff. Mass brief afterwards and it was a super "dry" topic. Quite alot of ppl felt like shutting their eyes. Then another flying instructor brief on straight and level again, without a doubt, boring too. Make-up safety brief after everything and the teacher said at the beginning it would be short, sharp and sweet. Turns out to be a "story-telling" session and every single student in the club left alr except the 5 of us.

Had dinner at Golden mile centre and ate at the usual western food store. To Bugis ltr on to get my year 2008 planner because I SERIOUSLY need one. This year is damn busy, with all the IS things going on now (I HATE IS), SYFC planned flights and those extra sch make-up lessons for lame reasons.

Life in Singapore can never be not-stressful.

Had maths in the morning and before that, 157 took sucha longggggg time to come. 30 mins! Then there was the jam everywhere and delayed my whole journey.

Ltr in the afternoon there was EEPS and the part on screwing the wires into the conponent was so energy-wasting. Had to strain my eyes and keep my arms steady to get the wires to "sit" right under the metal pin.

Rushed to SYFC at 2.30 and reached at like 4? Schedule wrote Operations manager review and yeah, its just a Q and A session with the OM. When gary heard the part on "anymore questions?" he was like @#$@#$@ call us all the way down on a weekday afternoon to ask anymore questions.

And so, with all these stuff draining my energy for the day away, Im so so tired now. Feel like shutting my eyes and ZzZzZzZzZz..... =(

I cant wait for the arrival of the weekends!

Alright HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Erm started out new-year's eve with a family mahjong session. Wah it was such a one-sided game. Not that I was always winning, but that I kept losing! My brother was so called "under" me and I dont know what was I doing but I kept throwing the tiles that he needed to win and I had to "bao" for everything. DAMN. Mum and Dad was also enjoying "having a piece of me". =(
I still remembered my tourguide from Shanghai telling me about fengshui and I tried placing 5 one dollar coins (cos gold in colour =D) under the table bUT TO NO AVAIL! Countdown also took place on the table and I simply refused to shake my parents and brother's hand when it was year 2008 because I didnt want my "new year luck" to transfer to them. =P

New year's day was also my aunt's b'day and so she invited us to Chilton park ( the condo just down the road from zhss opp. NYJC) for lunch since she rented a place there after selling her old semi-d. So my cousins went along with my family there and we had alot of fun playing her new Nintendo Wii. Super interactive play and we tried bull-riding, billard, shooting,table tennis and FISHING. Very very fun. Now I'd rather get this than the PS3. What's more, my uncle would import the "pira$#$ games" for the Wii from Shanghai at a cost of 1 sing dollar A GAME! Then we went swimming and stuff and my female cousin decided to try the playground so she climbed up some stuff and got her leg stuck in between the poles! Yeah and it was very hard for her leg to come out of it and she was like screaming in pain.Thus we had to support her and wait for the SCDF to come cut the thing. So ppl who stay in Chilton Park dun be surprised why a part of the playground is cordoned off. =X Anyway, it was a first hand experience for me regarding such incidents and Im glad Im quite calm throughout the whole thing =)

Now, screwed up my first day in school for 2008. No dip plus today and Im here in sch at 8?! The roads were flooded today at Bukit Timah because of all the parents sending their kids to HCI. Took a look at my not-touched-for-a-long-time-email inbox and a whole load of stuff came flooding in. So the equation for 2008 goes this way

2008 = juggling-> Normal sch work+SYFC+Keyboard classes+Dip plus classes. And SYFC alr is giving me a schedule headache but Im still looking forward to my first flight next next sat! =D
